There is always a great selection of new and noteworthy books for both children and adults, as well as a masterfully curated collection of used and rare books -- all at unbeatable prices! You could walk in with a blindfold over your eyes, spin around three times, and you would still fall in love with the first book you pick off the shelf!

However, it's the staff that makes a stop at Reed Books such a wonderful experience. You get the sense that the people working there are not just selling you great books, but taking care to connect every person with the perfect book for them. Booksellers...more like matchmakers! I've fallen in love with so many stories thanks to these guys. A stop at Reed Books is NOT complete without an authentic Reed Recommendation!

friendly and knowledgeable. It seemed like a nice couple ran it. When I was there the woman who rang me up commented on each of the four books I chose--a Murakami, Vonnegut, Roth, and another that I can't recall. All rather new and discounted. We talked about said books and she brought up an old movie about one
such book that she tried thinking of an actor who played a leading role. It reminded me of when my father watches movies and names old actors. The movie I hadn't seen and the actor had never heard of but she was very nice and I found it interesting. I will definitely be back next time I'm down the Cape. Very clean environment with well crafted selection!

Great Bookstore that really looks out for the customer..lowering prices on new bestsellers and even classics. This place deals in books, not trinkets, candy or office supplies. There's no agenda being rammed down your throat either. So great to see!!

Friendly family owned independent bookstore with a wide selection of new, used, and rare books. Reed Books is in a great location in HarwichPort MA and my go to place for all summer reading. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They are always willing to offer a recommendation based on your reading tastes, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A great reason to shop locally.

Not only did I find some great used books at fair prices, the owner gave us a recommendation for dinner at of all places, the golf course we were visiting later that week. It turns out that Cranberry Valley golf course now had a gourmet chef. The shop has a lot of books for the book collector and thousands more in storage. So, there are lots of reasons to return.

This is must for people living or visiting the Cape. It is a wonderful bookstore that offers you a choice of new and gently read books. He also donates books to Veterans Hospitals. Whenever I visit the Cape I bring gently read history works to be donated to the store.

This little shop is beautiful and the owner was so nice and gave great suggestions! I got 6 books for a steal and will definitely be returning!

The best used/new bookstore on the Cape. We travel from Provincetown to Reed’s. An annual trip for great selection!! Helpful & friendly service.

Excellent inventory. Even had a book signed by the Author. We stop every time we are in town.

We have no auto...use wheelchairs...owner delivered a book to our condo a few years back...
