Fantastic fresh and delicious food. We tried the breakfast sandwich, eggs and kimchi plate, and the strawberry rhubarb pancakes and they were all great! The strawberry pancakes were particularly noteworthy! Gets a little busy.

Overall - Unplanned stop resulting in very pleasant meal

Food - Sampled both breakfast and lunch items. Both were very good, distinctive flavors, good portions. Quite simply a great meal.

Service - Very clear when ordering how long meals would take to deliver, beat that reasonable estimate. Like so many restaurants right now, dealing with high volume, but they handled very well.

Atmosphere - Quaint small town feel in a clean and modern setup.

Price - Great value.

Very tender and tasty brisket. Our coffee and breakfast was delicious. So much so that we took additional pastries to go. The customer service was great as well.

Great omelette! This place was really extraordinary... I totally stumbled upon this place asking to a local lady for a good breakfast place. Keep in your mind they end serving at 2:30 pm. I don't know if it is only for breakfast or only for weekends. Coz I had a late breakfast and left before 2:30 pm. and didn't ask about it. If you are a person who would choose omelette if you would have to eat only one kind of meal for the rest of your life, you must try this one. They have incredible bread and butter, homemade jam. And the way they add vegetables to an ordinary omelette makes them real gourmet.. How I wish this place was in my town..

Quaint place for breakfast when in the area. In addition to the menu, they have a lot of homemade baked goods up by the register - the mini jelly donuts are a personal favorite!

Wonderful breakfast/lunch spot. They serve first rate coffee, eggs, pancakes, and fresh lemonade. Family friendly and fair prices. Order at the counter and pick a table. They will bring it to you when ready.

Awesome fresh food at reasonable prices. Banana pancakes came with blueberry syrup that was well paired.

A yummy breakfast place. The best banana bread I have eaten in a while.

If you want typical diner fare for breakfast, go to a diner. If you want breakfast that is kicked up a notch, fresh, flavorful and very reasonably priced- this is the spot! The frittata with broccoli rabe, sausage, goat cheese and tomatoes was simple and amazing. My breakfast partner has buckwheat pancakes that were delicious as well. They also offer a variety of fresh baked goods and made to order coffee drinks including espressos. This will be a regular stop when in the area and something you don't want to miss!

Always guaranteed to get high quality delicious and healthy home baked goods and food. Great community atmosphere with long farm tables where you can pick up a conversation with others. Very friendly staff and excellent chef/owner who greets you with a smile even though he works so hard! I love there moist gluten free Buckwheat muffins.

I wasn't expecting to find much in this small town (I'm from Trenton, NJ) on my way to Boston. I was very pleasantly surprised. Clean, neat, and novel. Those are the words that come to mind when I think of the appearance of this 2nd floor restaurant. The gentleman at the counter was attentive and helpful. I asked for salt-cod hash and eggs. I've never heard of salt-cod hash before or since but it was delicious, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The whole dish was presented beautifully. I paid about $8 for my meal but felt as though I was treated to a luxury experience.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I met two of the most impressively genuine people while I was there. I don't remember their names, but we shared a slice of darn good persimmon walnut cake!

I really love this place, and if you like visiting small towns north of New York City, I suggest Hillsdale because there are a few good places to eat and a few interesting shops. There's also a brewing company nearby that might be interesting (haven't gone there yet, but I think they're open for lunch and dinner), and Hillsdale is very close to Catamount ski area. Anyway, about the food - it is inventive and delicious, and online the menu always seems to be up to date with frequent posts online. They are also now open for indoor dining as of June 20, 2020, with tables spaced out appropriately, and they have some outdoor tables as well. Their sandwich selections are always really interesting and taste great - last time I was there I had a ham, goat cheese, fig, and arugula sandwich - just a really good combination and served on good bread, which is also so important. I don't know if their pickles are house-made, but those are also really good, as are their desserts and breakfast options. One thing I caution - there's not a lot available in terms of alternative sweeteners for beverages, so if you're very picky about that, best to bring your own with you.

My wife and I are regulars here - one of the best places for consistently reliable and creative breakfast options in the area, with a very comfortable ambiance and quite a bit of seating.

The staff is friendly and unobtrusive, quick with a coffee refill if it's not too busy. Their bakers are incredible - the biscuits are incredible and go fast. They've been kind enough to custom-tailor their grits to include fresh greens for us, and their french toast is off the charts. David, the owner, is incredibly friendly and makes an effort to greet as many familiar faces as possible, though on weekend mornings the place is so packed he's usually hard at work in the kitchen. It opens at 8:30, which for early risers is perhaps a bit late, but well worth the wait. On weekday mornings, it's a peaceful place to have quiet conversation or get some work done. Wifi is available.

Delicious sandwiches (2 different meals) and delicious lattes. The person at the counter said try the jam twist, it’s the best. So I tried it and man, it really was the best. Thanks for good recommendations and for bangin baked goods.

Consistently excellent food at breakfast and lunch, prepared thoughtfully and with care. From outrageously delicious and inventive egg dishes to perfect sandwiches with grilled bread and house made pickles to irresistible baked goods, Cross Roads is my favorite place to eat in the area and I look forward to every meal here. I just wish they did dinner!

This place punches far, far above its weight in terms of the quality and value of food in such a friendly, informal space. The crisp, clean dining area invites conversation, light work, and book-reading over the kind of local, fresh food you hear a lot about but actually find a lot less often. It's also an incredible value - I leave here more satisfied than from restaurants charging double.

Chef David Wurth is so creative. He assembles unusual combinations of flavors and textures that elevate what could be simple breakfast or lunch fare. His "not a sandwich" hot lunches in particular are always tasty and interesting. And his baked goods are excellent, in particular his muffins.

Crossroads has the best breakfast and lunch food in Columbia county. You're missing out if you've not tried it. My favorite is the brisket. Simply mouth watering good

One of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch. I love the specials and the all the available side dishes and baked goods.
Also great for dinner, but for right now I think they aren't serving dinner.

Amazing place. Love the vibe and the super relaxed staff. Coffee was delicious, as were the baked goods we tried. Breakfast specials were very inventive and well executed.
