Local and convenient! Surprisingly good selection for a smaller shop. Friendly, helpful folks. Especially Martha!

I bought ant traps there. Put them under my arm to do the credit card thing. Looked in bagging area and asked where my stuff was... embarrassing. She patiently said you picked it up then I realized under my arm. Was so embarrassed said if I get anymore demented they won't let me out. Learned later from cousins that locals don't use that store. The rude rich people from the city do. Those people have to deal with rude entitled people full time. They are saints.

I liked this supermarket, best place to shop in the area.

This is my main go to place to get groceries. Most of their inventory is local and they have amazing sales that pop up like crazy. Definitely recommend if you want local produce.

A nice small town grocery store. Well stocked and nicely displayed. The deli always has good specials for lunch and the bakery and meat selection are delicious too.

ALWAYS great here..

Went to this store when I visited my brother in NY. Produce was great, lunch meat ...deli was marvelous and the fresh fish was really fresh. They assisted me with how to cook the scallops (real big ones) and cat fish. They had all kinds of breads and baked goods. Wish we had a store like this. Only thing....NY prices were a shock to me.

For a small grocery store the selection is terrific. There are many products I haven't found in our large chain nearby. Very clean and well stocked with staff always around to help.

It's been interesting over two decades to watch the transformation of this village market into a super supermarket. Among the many changes has been an accommodation to the growing number of urban weekenders, most from NYC, with demanding tastes. Impressive adaptation--now a market to suit country and city dweller alike.

I like IGA. Always will have mostly all I need to make a great dinner. If they don't have something....then ask & it is usually stocked in about a week. Service people very nice & friendly & very convenient for me.

Not a glamorous store, but small country store. Friendly, and on the weekends the visitors frequent. Great produce, cheese, meats, beverages, breads, snacks.......nice choices and great prices. Watch for the truckload sale. Score!

The experience was really great especially the deli. Emerson did an especially awesome job!

Clean,fresh,and the best meats anywhere. For a smaller store they have what you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend Hillsdale Supermarket.

Great LOCAL people thast been running the place ( and or the same employees have ) for close to 40 plus years.

Love the homemade mac salad but the fresh fish , cuts of meat and nice friendly caring staff make it such a nice place to go.
SO IF U R in the Copake, Copake Falls and or Hillsdale area camping,, save your money- shop again and save PLUS wonderful selection , yes, even for you demanding city folk!

Am from Litchfield County - no know one there but when camping- always shop there.

OK,, a single cookie they sell there costs 47 cents.
a place in copake falls, sells the same item for 3 bucks! THAT should speak volumes last,, they sell their ice cubes and or blocks for 1.89
AND what is more imp- is you get 4 extra pounds of ice unlike again- another place that charges 2.50 for four pounds of LESS ice!

and really- again it is about the friendly staff at Hillsdale IGA

Great spot if your camping at Waubeeka Family Campground in Copake. Has all the essentials. Good variety of beer. Local veggies.

Small independent supermarket with excellent meat and produce. Items on sale are a good value. Otherwise prices are high.

IGA has the best quality of meats I've found in this area. & The service is very efficient & friendly.

Good produce, meat, and dairy; very helpful and friendly staff. Best of all, it's never crowded.

Their meats are spectacular but it's that roast beef in the deli that brings me back in everytime time employees are courteous and very helpful

I'm a local and have shopped here for years. Great meat and seafood. Terrific friendly helpful staff.
