The Bursley Manor

The property is both beautiful and comfortable. The house gives you the charm of a traditional Cape house while the comforts of a modern stay at an Inn. Small details - well stocked library shelves with engaging reading, jet bath tub - made it a highly enjoyable stay, too.

The owner is extremely hospitable and attentive while still giving you and your family room for their own relaxing stay. She also makes an excellent breakfast!

We loved our stay in this B & B. This was our first time ever staying in one and it exceeded our expectations. Margaret is a lovely host who is very accommodating. It is wonderfully decorated and very clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay there again and will definitely refer family and friends to stay there in the future. The breakfasts were amazing, but my favorite was her banana nut bread.

This charming bed and breakfast was everything you need in one place. My boyfriend and I were staying in Cape cod for a few days passing through on a trip and stayed in the Mad Jack room. It was as private and as welcoming as you made it. You could go out and visit with the other guests staying there as well as Sheila and Francis. Their dog Minnie was sweet and comfortable with you, but wasn't too invasive. Breakfast was delicious and most people left during the day. Our room was beautiful and felt more like home than staying in a hotel. We will definitely stop back if and when we're on that part of town again and highly recommend it.

My wife, dog, infant son and I went down for a few days to decompress ahead of the holiday rush next week and ended up having the most relaxing time we could have imagined.
The house is beautifully maintained, with many well-upholstered bedrooms (special mentions to the oversized whirlpool soaking tubs), a rich history, and lots of nooks and crannies. Fireplaces throughout kept us warm for the few days in the teens and the morning table was well-set with delicious home-cooked breakfast and good conversation.
Bringing it all together was the worldly, fun, attentive owner and hostess Margaret. She goes out of her way to make guests feel at home and it shows. We will be returning every time we need a quick escape from Boston to slow down and treat ourselves to a little R&R.

This bed & breakfast exceeded our expectations. It is meticulously cared for, and the owner was the perfect innkeeper. She was non intrusive and allowed us our privacy, while still meeting all our needs. She loaned us beach chairs and towels to take to the nearby beach. There were four of us. The inn is beautiful. The website doesn't really convey its qualities. The bathrooms were spa-like with jetted tubs. We had the back patio to ourselves in the evening, and breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this b&b, as it is the nicest one I have ever stayed at.

The Bursley Manor is a completely beautiful and unique bed and breakfast. Our Inn keeper has nothing but kindness and hospitality towards her guests- making sure every comfort is tended to. This historical home in beautifully decorated and keeps in time with vintage antiques and handcrafted pieces. We recommend it highly.

What s lovely weekend at the Bursley Manor! We were in town for a family party and chose it based on location but boy did we get lucky. The inn is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and Margaret was welcoming and attentive. She even made me gluten free banana bread. We will be back.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay on the Cape. Fantastic hosts, fantastic food , great early morning coffee if needed! Originally booked one night , but stayed four and already planning a return . So much more hospitality than any hotel . Beautiful old and unusual artefacts thru out the manor . Loved it all
