Great quality farm & pet products, affordable prices and knowledgeable, friendly staff. One stop shopping for my horse, dog and cat. I almost always come home with something I didn’t realize I needed (like the deerskin fleece lined winter work gloves I grabbed at the end of January, which I’ve worn almost daily since purchasing. Thank you Kali for recommending them!)

It’s also a fun visit seeing the happy, healthy barnyard animals that live here; the goats are so cute and playful and the beautiful peacocks put on quite the show. And depending upon the time of year, the baby chicks are just the cutest!

I love this place! The eggs are the best and freshest in Barnstable. The family who runs the place and their employees are cheerful, helpful and kind . The animals outside are fun for the kids to watch and they have great honey sticks. We also buy our Merrick pet food here and enjoy supporting a local business. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Great selection of high end dog food and treats. Also I needed a brush as my shepherd decided to blow his coat while on vacation. They had the best prices on all of the brushes and furminators that I've ever seen.

All around a great store with kind and helpful employees. We have been frequenting for over 5 years and that's not going to change anytime soon.

To all of the people that are coming here absolutely trashing an amazing store and an amazing local business owner, I have one question. Have you ever even stepped foot into the building? Because if you had you would know that whatever this video said, is 100% false. Just about every person I know around here shops at Barnstable Farm and Pet for their livestock, their pets, and even themselves. The staff is all extremely knowledgeable. They all have experience actually working with animals, caring for animals, and just being around them. You don’t know what kind of food to get your senior dog that that you want to give the best care possible, but don’t know what that is? Ask them and they’ll know. Your child is thinking about getting into horse shows, but you can’t afford the thousands of dollars it can cost to even get started? Barnstable Farm and Pet has an amazing consignment shop, which has everything from saddle pads, to saddles, to boots for your kid. They have it all, and everything they take in is inspected to make sure you’ll be getting good quality at a good price. Whoever posted this video slandering and amazing company seriously needs to grow up. The employees at this store have never been anything but kind and helpful to anyone who had ever walked in their doors. If they didn’t care about their animals, then why would so many of us trust them with helping us make the right decisions for our animals, who are family to us? We wouldn’t. Not only is Barnstable Farm and Pet an amazing business, it’s also a local business owned and ran by an extraordinary women who knows her stuff. As do all of her employees. Anyone who is making false accusations against them, without knowing what they are saying, those are the people who are in the wrong. Grow up and don’t believe everything you see on tiktok, know what you’re saying before you wrongfully accuse an amazing business, a phenomenal women, and her insanely knowledgeable employees of harming any animals. Not a single one of the people that work there would ever even THINK about doing anything harmful to an animal if any kind.

The place is great! The lady who runs the place is very kind and when one of our baby chicks died (first out of 24, even though the average is one out of 4) when we told her, she was very accommodating.

Everyone at barnstable Farm and Pet is outstanding!!!! Got my ducklings from them today and I can't say enough how helpful and kind and knowledgeable they all are! I won't ever go anywhere else for any pet supplies ever!!

Great selection of pet (of all kinds) supplies and food. Also grabbed some local honey and seeds for our garden. The kids loved seeing the animals and the staff was so kind and helpful.

Friendly, helpful staff. A real "barny" atmosphere. Always have what I need for my cat, and more.

A little out of the way spot with goats and chickens and ducks and an amazing white peacock. Also a store with a wide range of supplies for bird watchers, pets and larger animals.

Friendly service and advice with good inventory. We bought three miniature goats from them, and often come by for fencing, hay and straw, etc

I have been going here for 7 years they owners are very friendly and great and they are like family the help also are very helpful and kind I love the animals that they have so well taken care of and beautiful they have a huge selection on everything and there prices are great its the place to shop for all your animals highly recommended!!!!

This is a wonderful place. All the items of necessity for horses, chickens, and house pets. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
