We searched online for a specialized lock set and ordered from another vendor. When it arrived we found it wasn't as advertised. I phoned Cape Cod Brass and got a knowledgeable person who quickly figured out what we needed and got the lockset out to us in short order. These people know their product!

Cape Cod was the only company that offered a door knob similar to the handmade knobs in the 70-year-old home we were restoring. Unfortunately, we could not make the door set work because of unusual borings in our door. Cape Cod was very patient working with us and accepted a return when we could not make their hardware work. They were able to quickly identify the lock sets, deadbolts, handles, and other hardware I needed to match the Baldwin design in my house. They answered all of my questions, and explained things I didn’t know. Emily, in the shipping department, immediately sent details of my orders. Shortly thereafter, she sent full shipping details, complete with tracking numbers. I received all of the parts within a few days even though I didn’t request expedited shipping. I wish all companies performed this well.
