Captain Farris House

We could not have had a more fabulous time at Captain Farris House! Carol was wonderfully helpful planning for husbands bday, with all the kids showing up and surprising him. We booked four rooms and everyone raved. Entire house is immaculate, beds are fitted with luxurious linens and are extremely comfy. Food is presented so beautifully you ALMOST don't want to eat it, and it's all so delicious! They graciously prepared meals for several restricted diets, GF, dairy free, etc. Carol and Jeffrey are so gracious, we felt like we were staying with family. Can't wait to return!

My husband's and my September 2023 stay at the Captain Farris House was our first bed and breakfast and nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with a genuine warmth, hospitality, and HEAVENLY lemon butter cookies that set the tone for our entire trip! The Irma Farris Suite itself was plush and luxurious: a testament to the historic property's classic elegance and a cozy retreat not only made us feel at home but SPOILED—don't even get me started on THE BATH TOWELS I still dream about them! Our suite, private bathroom, and the entire property were impeccably clean, which is a reassurance in the more intimate, communal setting of a bed and breakfast. Carol, Jeff, and their staff were also an absolute pleasure: their commitment to ensuring we had a comfortable, memorable stay was evident in every interaction, and they were delightful conversationalists to boot. Their homemade breakfasts (both savory and sweet) and afternoon treats were a culinary delight that complemented our overall experience. TL;DR: our stay at the Captain Farris House exceeded our expectations in every way: the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and hospitality that made for an unforgettable stay on the Cape.

My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary for a weekend at the Captain Farris House. We filled the inn with family and friends, and had a fabulous time! Carol and Jeff are remarkable hosts, and when I asked my husband what he would add, he said that Carol and Jeff are what made it special. They are warm, genuine, and made the space very comfortable for us. It was like being at home, but with all of the amenities. I would highly recommend staying at the Captain Farris House.

We spent an incredible 7 days at Captain Farris. Carol, Jeff, and the entire team ensured our stay was unforgettable. Their breakfasts are both fabulous and generous. Every detail, from the luxurious bed linens and outstanding service to the spacious room and DVD player complete with a selection of DVDs, adds to the perfection of the stay. Their cookies are so delightful; I may have gained a few pounds during our visit!

The Captain Farris house is a must for Cape Cod! They made us feel so warm and cozy and at home. My husband and I were obsessed with the homemade breakfast and the small town charm. Beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the robes. Plus our room had a balcony and the property was lovely to look at! Will definitely be coming back.

Another great tea at Captain Farris House! Delicious and cozy as always. Highly recommend adding the smoked salmon for an extra treat!

My husband and I went away for our 1 year anniversary and have nothing but good to say about our stay! We were welcomed with warmth and treated like a king and queen. The breakfasts were amazing and filling!
The house and room were very clean and you can tell that Jeff and Carol put their heart into every detail, even the smallest ones. We can’t wait to go again.

They have thought of everything to provide a comfortable, cozy stay - freshly baked cookies each day, a scrumptious breakfast menu each morning, expansive tea and coffee bar, beautiful common dining and sitting areas, and even DVDs and popcorn to take back and enjoy in your room. We had two rooms, and both were sparkling clean - I commented to my traveling companions that the rooms and bathrooms were the cleanest I've experienced in quite some time! Highly recommend!!

Having returned from a wonderful vacation we would just like to thank the very kind owners Carol and Jeff and their staff for a fantastic stay at their beautiful inn. We have stayed at numerous bed and breakfasts but have to say that this one was top notch the best. The rooms are spotless with a great spacious hot shower and very comfortable lace canopy bed. We also had a private entrance from the wrap around porch. Breakfast served in their adorable tea house like room was delicious something different everyday. We also enjoyed the extra details like coffee, tea, hot chocolate , snacks, cookies, and the slices of pound cake, fresh flowers in the room, and chocolates on our bed upon arrival. There was also a nice selection of DVD's for you to choose from. Plenty of parking and nice quiet location. We tried to think of everything we could think of and hope we did not leave anything out but if you are thinking of a place to stay do not hesitate to add this Bed and Breakfast to your vacation you will not be disappointed. I have stayed at the Captain Farris House a number of times, and the experience is always FANTASTIC. I enter tired and stressed, and leave relaxed and refreshed. Carol and Jeff are excellent innkeepers. The room I always prefer to book is beautiful, comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are truly delicious. I recommend the Captain Farris house wholeheartedly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our two-bedroom suite room was impeccable, with a lot of touches to make our stay comfortable. Food was delicious. Carol and Jeff and their staff were gracious host. We couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience.

We had an amazing stay. Carol and Jeff were so friendly and welcoming; we felt so comfortable and taken care of. We celebrated our honeymoon there and the ambiance was perfect. The bed and breakfast was clean, tidy, and the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. I’m usually skeptical of the breakfast at bed and breakfasts, but the food was absolutely delicious! This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and it was wonderful! Carol & her husband went above and beyond to make everything so special and comfortable for us. The house was so beautiful and the location truly could not have been better. Very morning we were treated to the most delicious breakfast that was presented in the most lovely way. Carol made the best recommendations for day trips and restaurants. We enjoyed our time very much and would recommend their bed and breakfast in a heartbeat- no need to look anywhere else, The Captain Farris house will not disappoint!

Stayed here for a few days with my wife for our anniversary. Our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, Carol and Jeff were very accommodating and helpful. We felt at home and will definitely come back when in the area!!

My first B&B experience! I absolutely adore this B&B. The charming decor sucked me right in, and I was so obsessed with the gorgeous and unique dining room are with cool checkered floors! Everything was super clean and warming, you felt right at home. I loved our room on the second floor with its own set of stairs! Carol & Jeff were so amazing and helpful with any questions about the area and I'm honestly going to miss seeing them in the mornings!! I will definitely be back and thank you so much Carol & Jeff for having us :)

If you are looking for a bed and breakfast on the cape, look no further. This quiet and quaint property is one of the best around! When you walk in, you feel right at home. The rooms are very clean and staged nicely and the food served is fresh and delicious. The staff are extremely professional and friendly as well as very knowledgeable of the area, should you need guidance on where to go and what to do. I would definitely consider this beautiful bed and breakfast for your next vacation.
