Hometown Auto & Truck Repair and Towing

Not a person to do reviews but this one I had too, first off major thanks to the man tank for taking care of me in the way he did. Not only did he help me get back on the road, he ensured I had the right equipment to get back home and continue my move from Jacksonville FL, to Colorado! His honesty and professionalism was outstanding, allowing me to know my options but also what he recommends is best for me. He has a board in the office room saying something along the lines of “we don’t want to cost and arm and a leg we want to help the best we can” and his shop is true to that! Thanks again to tank and his crew for the support and friendliness they all provided!

These guys are amazing! Got there right at 5 and they were all leaving. They instantly stopped what they were doing and came to see what I had going on, all hands on deck at quittin' time. They told me what they thought was going on but said they would look at it to be sure and call me the next day. By 8am I had a call, told me what the issues were and what the price would be. Cost was half of what I thought it would be, and they said my car would be ready before I ever got off work. 10/10 without question! I will only be using Hometown for all of my automotive needs, and I'd recommend you do the same. Very impressed!

This was the best auto shop experience I have ever had! I am a female who lives about 5 hours away. The staff here went above and beyond to make sure we got back on the road safely. I honestly would drive the 5 hours to have them work on my car. So. Impressed. JT & John - you deserve a raise today!!

Tank and John came to my family’s rescue when we were stranded on the highway far from our South Carolina homes. They were kind enough to fix our tire and send us back on our way, even though the shop was closed. My mother, my daughter and I are so grateful for their above-and-beyond service!

Shredded tire on a Sunday while leaving Cadiz KY and heading back to Charleston SC. Tank came and picked up my daughter, granddaughter & me and let us sit in his truck until John got there to tow the car!! He even brought us cold water!!! Had us fixed & back on the road within a half hour of picking us up! THANKS, GENTS!!!!

We were on vacation from Lexington to Cadiz and had tire troubles. I wish I could give more stars! If it wasn't for Hometown Auto, our stay would have been ruined. They are the greatest group of people and came to our rescue! Highly recommend!!

I would give 10 stars if I could! Most amazing guys EVER!!! As we were on our way to Tennessee from Minnesota a wheel bearing went out on our truck. Stranded in Cadiz with 2 kids we were blessed to find a business card at Mobile for Hometown Auto & Truck Repair. A business card put there just 20 minutes before! Even though Tank was off duty, he let his guys at the shop know and within 45 minutes we were picked up with a tow truck and dropped off at a local hotel! The driver was awesome at helping two Minnesotan's lost in Kentucky find a nice place to sleep! Bebo went in at 5 am on Sunday to fix our truck and get us back on the road! We weren't far from losing a tire on a highway with our precious cargo, thank you HOMETOWN, you saved our lives and our vacation!

Work was quick and efficient. Got me in fast and friendly workers. Labor was not bad for the times we are in. Recommend them if you need repairs. Do not know how their long term work load is, or if they do that kind of work.

Sarg, Tank, Mike and the crew are the best mechanics around. They are very professional and treat you like family. Thanks again guys.

I would highly recommend Hometown Auto to anyone in this area! I woke up to a flat tire at the end of my trip and needed a fix quickly. Since they offer 24 hr service, I didn't have to wait until 8 am to get assistance. They answered the phone right away and promptly sent Mark to my aid! He did an excellent job and was very personable. Luckily, I didn't need a new tire, only a patch. I was offered a very fair price and speedy service! Excellent place!

I've had several mechanical issues addressed by hometown. The people there are very knowledgeable, professional, and happy to help. We're highly recommend them..

Had a problem with a battery from another place. Tank got me taken care of fast. New battery and on the road quick. Nice to have a good place right in town

I was in the Cadiz area on a business trip and my vehicle broke down on the side of a country road in the County. These guys quickly towed me back to their shop, diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours so I didn’t have to spend the night in a hotel. Thanks for the excellent service!

I had a full brake job and all new tires put on my truck. These guys had me in and out before I could finish talking with their very friendly receptionist. Can’t beat their prices anywhere or how fast they have you out of there. Found my new mechanic for all my vehicles. Definitely recommend going to them get your work done right fast and at a great price.

I went to jiffy lube on December 23 for oil change in Atlanta. December 24 I was driving to Iowa. Lost all engine oil and engine blows right outside Cadiz because jiffy lube didn’t tighten the engine oil plug and it fell off. This place wasn’t supposed to be open on Christmas Eve but Tank came out to help and got my car towed to his shop. He was very helpful, kind and professional. He was a life saver. Thank you to him, his tow guy and his little buddy Cody lol. I recommend this business to everyone. God bless these kind folks. I can’t thank them enough.

I've always been pleased in my dealings with Tank and the crew from Hometown Auto. They have worked on at least four vehicles for me, and took care of a cousins brakes. I recommend them every chance I get to folks who are in need of great Mechanic services. I can't say enough good about them.

They came to our rescue at 9pm. Our BMW got stranded on the side of the road and they picked us up, put us in a hotel for the night. They fixed up our car the next day and the owner was incredibly knowledgeable!! We were on the road by 4pm. We made it to Gulf Shores, AL with no issues! Car is still running like a dream! Highly recommend!!

Shout out to Tank an all the folks over at hometown! Would recommend them to anyone, got stuck outta state, away from home an in the country an they had me towed then had my car done within 2 hrs of getting it in the bay!

Im not sure about the business as a whole, but "gator"? Is who I delt with and he was Super Nice and was helpful considering It was towed there on a Sunday and he came up there the following Sunday to let me get it towed back out. It was kind of expensive considering all they did was tell me my engine blew up, but they charged me 80$ to tell me that. But Nice nonetheless
