Patti's 1880's Settlement

Wow, excellent home-cooked meals. It's definitely a comfort food establishment. Lots of fun shops to explore. The 2-inch pork chop was good, but it lacked a good sauce. I wasn't a fan of the "Patti's Sauce." Tasted like the drippings from the grease with a little flour. Otherwise things were great, so much food.

The food was to die for. Definitely recommend the Mozzarella sticks. They were so good. The service was fast. The waitress was so sweet. They had the rooms all decorated differently, and it was so cool. They had animals and Christmas lights up. It is a beautiful place and a great experience. Drove 8 hours there and back. Totally worth it!!!! There are lots of places to take cute pictures and a pretty little light house across the street. Go look. It's beautiful.

A worthwhile stop while in the area. Large restaurant is divided up into comfortable and quiet separate rooms. Decorating is over the top but somehow adds to the overall charm of the place. Food is well-prepared and served hot. Signature entree is a 2" thick pork chop.

Food was amazing. We made reservations on a Friday around 6p, they sat us early. The service was awesome, she was very attentive. I love how each room has its own theme. Of course we had leftovers. Ps if it's your anniversary, they'll sing to you.

Patti’s 1880’s Settlement is much more than a wonderful restaurant; it is a destination! This is especially true during the Christmas season when it is adorned with lights decorations of all sorts. If possible, plan your visit after dark so that you can enjoy the thousands of lights! We recommend a hot chocolate to help warm the soul on cool nights. Of course, the meal was top notch as well as the service! Try to allow yourself at least 3-4 hours to experience the whole settlement.

We were driving through and saw the sign for this place. Stopped in for lunch. Had a 15-minute wait. There is a gift shop that we browsed. More on the outside patio area. We were called and told our seat was ready. A young man, Adam, escorted us to our table, which happened to be in a separate room. Semi private. Lovely room. Our waitress was attentive and knew the menu. I ordered the chicken and dumplings and a side salad. It was one of the best side salads I have ever had. The chicken and dumplings were good but not outstanding. Sofia brought us our drinks and a flowerpot bread with whipped butter and strawberry butter. The bread was delicious. My companion ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked well but moist. Very good.
For dessert, we each ordered a pie wedge. Mine was the deep dish apple with crumble topping. A true apple pie. Very good! Hers was the lemon meringue with a very tall meringue topping. The lemon was great the meringue was fluffy and light, not too sweet.
Overall, I give it a high rating. Food is a bit on the high side but worth it. The building and rooms are somewhat rustic but well kept.

There's a reason this place has been around for so long! The food is incredible, the portions are generous and the desserts are out of this world!

Go there for your anniversary (or just tell them it is your anniversary) and enjoy the song that they sing

We have been eating at Patti's for over 20 years now and have always had exceptional service and excellent food. The 2" porkchop is always great. And you can't beat the Sampler Supreme appetizer. Salads are always fresh. Flower pot bread is always perfect especially with the strawberry butter 😋 The atmosphere is a great mix of the old and new restaurant.

Fantastic place. The wait was an hour to eat but they give you a pager and you can walk around to see the shops and beautiful grounds. There is chocolate and tasty items plus lots of gift shops.i got some chimes. The dinner was amazing. I recommend the snicker pie for dessert.

They had just started decorating for Christmas, but it was still a beautiful place. There is plenty of space to enjoy dinner and not feel crowded. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. The catfish was delicious!

Our visit for brother-in-law birthday was my first. This was my first timeere. Friends told me it would be great. It was. The wait staff is superb. The food is over-the-top good. Portions are too big, but the leftovers will be great. Make reservations well in advance.

This has been hands down the best experience at a restaurant that we have ever had. Everything that we ate or drank was point, and the Christmas decorations are absolutely beautiful!

It had been a long time since I had been to Patti's (+5 years). It had burned down and rebuilt in that time. The upgrades are astonishing. Beautiful decor and atmosphere! Our server and host were both very attentive and accommodating. I totally recommend the Supreme sampler, the grilled chicken, and of course the famous 2 inch pork chop. Absolutely delicious food! Despite the restaurant being full, the noise wasn't that bad. They also have private rooms you can reserve for your group if you want something more intimate. Word for the wise: BOOK IN ADVANCE!! I booked a table for a party of two, approximately 5 weeks in advance. It was worth the wait, but I could see it being off putting if you were trying to do a walk in and wanting a table. I believe I overheard there was a 2.5 hr wait for a walk in couple. But it was a weekend, so it might not be as bad if it were a random weekday.

Only con that I will list is parking. It is tight on a weekend,but they do offer a shuttle. Do not bring a texas-sized truck or extra large van, you will regret it. I drive a Nissan Maxima and it would have been nerve wracking if I were not experienced in parking in super tight spaces.

Great food! Great experience! Lots of cute shops, moonshine tasting for free, and the lights are year round now. Took a weekend away to relax and adventure. Stayed at the Pattis inn and suites and was very pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness, room size and location to the settlement.

Always a great experience at Patti's! Excellent food, service, and plenty to see and do. Get the pork chop and definitely save room for boatsinker pie!

Wonderful food. First time I had been to it since it burned down. Lost some of the charm but still a great place to go with friends and family.

Been several times. Decorated with Christmas Gayla. Food, as always, very high quality. Service outstanding. Great go to destination.

We really enjoyed our meal. My brother had the 2" pork chop, his wife had the apple pork loin, my boyfriend got the 1" pork chop and I had the Ella Mae Chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly. We had a caramel pecan pie which was fantastic. The coconut merangue pie wasn't as good as it looked or that we expected. The service from Candy was excellent. Thank you for a great evening.
