Goshen General Store

Stopped to get a deli sandwich, the old couple that run the place were so nice. They made me feel like family. She whipped up my sandwich quickly and had me on my way in no time and it was absolutely delicious! I ate the cajun turkey with Colby cheese sandwich.

This place is great. Anne makes amazing sandwiches and it's fun to walk around the old feed store building. The selection of drinks and candy to support your meal is varied and sure to appeal to nostalgia.

This is a fantastic little stop for a good ol fashioned deli sandwich. All the down home country classics ... liver cheese, pimento and poor boys. Sandwich veggies are as fresh as they get. Cheap and fast. Buy bottled drinks from the fridge and grab bags of chips for a fast lunch.

This place is so authentic, walk in the door will take you back 100 years, from the athletic checkerboard by the wood stove to the 1920s ice chest behind the counter. Fresh made deli sandwiches by the nicest people I've ever met

Very nice people and a friendly atmosphere. You don't see the old mom and pop stores anymore and smiling Jack is always welcome in everyone in the store a great place for all the way things, and that personal touch

The most amazing little general store ever. Deli sanwiches the way they should be. This quaint little stop on 42 wil not dissapoint. The interior takes you back to a time when things were much simpler. Amazing old western vibes and the most killer fridge you've ever seen. 10/10 hope this place stays open forever.

Growing up in rural Jessamine County on a working farm, during the summer after baling hay or mowing a field, we'd go get sandwiches at a small general store, made by kind old folks surrounded by classic, old stuff. This is that store, but even older and more classic. Their Frigidaire is made of wood.

Jack was quiet, and, maybe, tired. And Jo and I chatted right around two masked customers. Great place to grab lunch or a picnic or a chat about family and times 😊🥰

Been going there for over 15 years. Great place for a sandwich. Owners been there over 30 years. A walk back in time.

Historic building in Goshen Kentucky. The have basic grocery options and a small deli for fresh meats and cheese.

The only place on Hwy 42 to get the old time lunch feel in ya bellies. !!!! Thank you for years of greatness ,,,!
