First time here yesterday Wednesday. Food was delicious and services is great. We came back today Thursday and pick some to go.

I tried the fry chicken, mashed potato, corn pudding. I added the soup and salad. Everything was delicious 😋 was my first time trying corn pudding and I loved it.

The ladies were great with us as well, great services and great attitude.

Dishes are well priced.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Our group had a great time. The food portions were excellent. Had the best chicken livers ever. I will be going back.

Way way way way way way way way way better food than I expected. And the atmosphere it was beautiful in there. The prime rib was divine. Don't miss out on the horsey sauce it is on the mild side you want to eat it with a spoon

was fabulous. We got the all you can eat chicken and that comes with so much stuff. See pictures everything was fresh and flavorful.
I wish we would have come in a little more hungry so we can have a little more. And when you buy the meals like this it's all you can eat.
She just kept bringing out more food.
I would really enjoy coming back here.

Best place around to eat, by far. Food tastes homemade, and not as expensive as many chain steakhouses. I regret that I haven't eaten here for years, and now I'm moving out of state. Corn pudding was really good, but just about everything is good. Make sure to try the buffet on Sundays.

Stopped in for dinner as we passed thru the area. Delicious family style dinners. We each ordered a different entree and collectively received a sampling of all their side dishes. So good! Sorry to say we had no room for dessert after this meal. Definitely worth the stop. Interesting history of the place. Highly recommend!

No words about the taste of food, one dish after one dish i have enjoyed everything.
Service is also impressive. They have handled the table well.
Totally best experience i have and money worth place to spend.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. I had the fried chicken with corn pudding, baked apples and mashed potatoes which were made fresh. I had the fried catfish before and it was excellent as well. I'm sorry the owners are trying to sell.

My husband and I went 3 hours out of our way just to try this restaurant after hearing the story behind it. I will say that this was exceptionally good and prices reasonable. We confessed that after having the fried chicken here, we will probably never eat at a kfc ever again. It is not at all greasy. Milk Gravy was awesome, rolls were delicious, corn pudding, well I think you know what I mean. It was ALL delicious. Atmosphere pretty cool too.

Wow.. could not even finish it because it was ALOT. But it was so good. Will definitely be back if we pass though town again.

Great food and service! The fried chicken was juicy, hot and fresh! Catfish was huge fillets fried fresh to order. Honestly could have made a meal out of the side items alone. Not a fan of spinach but tried the creamed spinach and was absolutely blow away!!! Corn pudding, collard greens and cream spinach is definitely on point and will order those any time I go back. Go hungry and ready to enjoy some home cooking.

I had a tasty catfish dinner with green beans and mac n cheese with a freshly squeezed house lemonade. It was pretty good. the only complaint was that the mac n cheese was not quite cheesy.

Other than that, good service, friendly staff, got seated right away, and on top of it all my drink STAYED full.

I found a place that makes the good kind of beets! This is the kind my mom used to make and it taste just as good. We had great service chicken is good too. The place looks cool and clean. I’m happy we stopped by and will stop by again.

The food was fantastic. We both had the chicken, it was great. Potatoes and gravy, green beans were great sides, the mac & cheese was ok. Wish they would of had a chocolate dessert, but I didn't need it of course.

It was an excellent value and an all around great experience. Fed a family of five twice for $70. I was especially thrilled with the chicken livers. They were so darn good, I forgot about my fried chicken. We did all the sides so we could try them all. Every single one of them were great but we each had a different favorite. We were only able to eat about half the food we ordered, so we did not get to try the desserts. Writing this review has me seriously craving some more of those chicken livers. All around great experience and oh yes we will be back.

After Colonel Sanders and his wife, Claudia, sold the franchise, the new management allegedly completely changed the original recipe almost immediately. This enraged the Colonel, so he and his wife started a new restaurant behind their house.

This is that restaurant.

This is the true, original, unaltered KFC recipe; the one that made the franchise so famous in the first place.

It also happens to be amazing fried chicken, as one might expect. It ranks with some of the best I've had. The building is gorgeous too, as a bonus.

It may be a little out of the way, but go here.
You won't regret it, and you'll be able to tell people that you've been to Colonel Sanders' house.

Hands down the BEST restaurant food both my boyfriend and I have ever had! Absolutely delicious and well worth the 1.5 hrs drive to get there, as well as the prices!

We got Claudia Sanders Special with creamy spinach, green beans, mashed taters, lots of rolls (lol), baked apples... I could have ate the whole menu 😋 Definitely huge portions and enough for take home. $60 + tip was all it cost.

We drove 4 hours to eat at this place and it's SO worth it! The all you can eat buffet is about $25 per adult, but worth every penny. The staff was amazing! And our waitress even gave everyone a 6 pack of the yeast rolls to take home. The rolls were my absolute favorite! I'm a vegetarian and I still loved this place. I'll most definitely be here again!! The place is absolutely beautiful!! Oh...and the bathrooms were spotless! The gift shop was great too. It felt like a vacation instead of just dinner.

Finger Lickin Good! This place was the highlight of our trip. The food was excellent and service was very friendly. The salad bar is the best I've seen offering a ton of items. (Almost too many because it is easy to fill up before even getting your food). The fried chicken was great. The atmosphere is very warm and makes the meal even more enjoyable.
