Far Out Espresso

One of my favorite spots in town! Perfect place to grab some coffee and study. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and vegetarian-friendly! Reminiscent of an actual Italian cafe.

I came in for lunch and a Cafe Mocha. Both were great! The French fries are covered with seasoning and very tasty. (I also ordered a pesto spinach melt panini.) The restaurant was not too crowded and we had a good choice of seats. Parking can be difficult. There is only one small parking lot and it is not the closest one to the restaurant. The lot is also shared with other businesses.

First-time goer and I’ve got to say the food and latte was hands down AMAZING! I got the caprese panini with truffle fries and a chai latte and I cannot express enough how delicious it all was.
My one tip is to avoid coming here if you’re in a hurry, it did take quite awhile 30+ min, but they did keep me informed and the quality of the food made it worth the wait. 100% would recommend and will definitely come back again!

Initial thoughts: I wasn't planning on coming to Far Out, I just happened to walk by on my way to another coffee shop. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. They were more than happy to help me decide what to eat and which blend to drink. 10/10

Food/drink: I ended up ordering the tiramisu, which was delicious. The photo attached is about half of the full order. I'm not usually a fan of sweets or desserts, especially that size, but it was excellently made and wasn't too rich. 10/10

Extra: they have a piano inside, and they're happy to let you play it!

Good vibes and great coffee. This is a new one on my coffee radar and so far I've had nothing but great experiences. The blend they use from City Roasters in Georgetown is really tasty, quality coffee and the service has been top notch. The tiramisu and cannolis are also some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend stopping in to check it out.

Update: Have tried the creamy pesto and black truffle oil pastas. Both were wonderful!

Came in with my girlfriend, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate her gluten intolerance, which we both appreciated. The food here is phenomenal too!

honestly it shocked me - 4 of us went, all with very different coffee tastes & one barista, holding down the entire store, (who was also oddly knowledgeable about J.Denver) nailed every single one of our drinks - can't speak on the food but def consider giving this place a shot for coffee - super impressed.

I've been to this coffee shop/italian cafe three times and each time has been great! I love their cannolis, they have the perfect crunch and the filling is sweet, but not overly so. I was impressed with the various flavors of cannolis that they have available. I stuck with the classic Sicilian cannoli but I remember there was a strawberries and cream flavor. The coffee is also good! I got an iced vanilla latte and really liked the taste. The ambiance is very cozy and casual. They have a room with a dartboard and a foosball table! There is also a small shop to the left of the counter that you order at that is decorated with "clouds" on the ceiling that change colors. It's a very nice and cute cafe with great cannolis!

Loved my Cuban cortado so much that I ordered a second one! Perfect temp and pour. Service was great. We went on a quiet Sunday morning and the only suggestion I would make is playing some chill music to complete the atmosphere.

Really enjoyed ourselves, New Years night before concert. My friends response after coffee was " I feel all rattlesnaky on the inside" 😂😂👍 Great Coffee! Will definitely return!

Drove from Louisville after discovering Far Out Espresso from Facebook. The experience was amazing and the food/drink was delicious. The strawberry and cream cannoli was to die for. 10/10 will be back.

First time coming in, ordered the Cuban cortado and it came out looking just lovely! Tasted delicious as well. Super warm atmosphere and sweet staff. Plays great music, didn’t even want to blow my head off once. Highly recommend stopping by ❤

One of the greatest places in Lexington to visit, really good service, super inviting, always a great experience when I get the chance to go. Very nice people who work there, authentic service 10/10 all day.

Far Out Espresso undoubtedly has the best coffee in Lexington! I literally have not gone to any other shop since they opened. The coffee is perfect every time, and the staff are incredibly kind and attentive. There are so many creative flavors and options for drinks, including rotating house-made specials. Not to mention, the cannolis, zeppolis, and tiramisu are to die for!!

The rasta pasta was really the best better that what is fed to me in Treasure Beach Jamaica We polished our hungry little mouths off with spoonfuls of decadent Tiramisu That God Boy Purp had kicked in talk about munchies This is munchies paradise I wish they had fish and chips served on the patio The patio was unused I also wish they had more compelling art work The original espresso cafe wonderful art They close so early wish they sold waffles late night diner style

Far Out manages to check all of the boxes I could ask for. The owners know their coffee extensively, and take an informed but still creative approach. The cocktails are some of the best you'll have. It takes an espresso shop to make an espresso martini worth drinking.

The menu is vegetarian while still being delicious and filling, and their smoothies, frappes, and desserts are dope too. There really is something for everyone. The only way it could get any better than that is if they did something cool and entertaining for the community, like hosting EDM parties every weekend... which they absolutely do.

I LOVE the aesthetic here. I’ve only had coffee here, and not sure how it is at nighttime… but the owner gives off great vibes and recommended a delicious drink!

We used to visit Far Out when it was in Georgetown, so we are long time fans and supporters. The coffee was top tier as always and the truffle fries were amazing.
