Wilborn Park

A really nice park just a short walk from downtown La Grange. There is a playground and a covered picnic area which would be a nice place to hold an outdoor party. There are two lakes. There was someone there fishing when we visited. There were lots of Canadian geese and even one duck swimming about. The only draw back is that you are close to the freeway but the road noise is minimal.

Wonderful Park with a beautiful Lake and enjoyable playgrounds. In the center is a nice large field. There is a good loop around it.

Small park with covered picnic tables nearby. There is a gravel walking area around one of the ponds. The road around the park is one way and makes a nice walking route.

The shelter is handicap accessable. Nice place to fish, walk, and take the kids to play. Watch out for random fishing lures if you have little ones.

Great place to take a break from the day. Nice walking trails around pounds. Nice play ground and never crowded

I love this park! It has a picnic shelter with a nice view of the lake. A small playground and picnic tables scattered throughout. It also has a paved walking loop.

Great little park. Seems like a good fishing spot too.

This is a very nice family friendly park!!! The city parks and recreation seem to be doing a very good job keeping up the maintenance and upkeep on this park, they do a very good job, and seem to be working very hard on keeping this park looking really nice!!! I would definitely recommend taking your family here for a nice lovely weather family outing day together!!! It's also a nice place for couples to walk together, and spend some quality time together!! Go check this park out everyone..!!! :-) 2 thumbs up!!!! :-)

It was a very peaceful place to walk. Love listening to the birds. There is a Pavillion, playground, picnic, tables grills, and places to fish

This was my first time here. It is a lovely little park. Nice pavilion, well maintained playground. I enjoyed the walk around the pond. The long bridge offered a surprise sensation of movement even though it is quite stable. I wish more neighborhoods offered this kind of open space for families to enjoy. I also wish the bathroom had been unlocked. It's January, so I get it. But when you gotta go, you gotta go.

that Park is excellent years ago I had a probation officer I had to serve community service they're right where the pavilion is every tree around there I planted they are fully grown and I'm very proud of myself every time I go there I remember that it is the pride and joy of my eye God bless you all

Great small park just minutes from downtown La Grange. Small lake on two sides of park. Plenty of seating, great play area for small children, covered area with plenty of seatings for larger gathering or family (up to 20?), bathrooms.

Some traffic, more after work, so mornings and days are usually quiet. Often visit mornings for quiet time to start my day.

It's very clean seems to be a safe place for the kids to play ball and they even have the young kids that are playing ball pick up every so often before their game so they're teaching them responsibility as well as a sport

Found this randomly on Google maps because I was looking for a place to walk my dog and it is a nice park. Will definitely come back.
