Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport, an IHG Hotel

Best, most reasonable location for attending downtown & campus events in Cincinnati, especially with the ferry down the road. Comfortable room with nice shower & hotel amenities - but at least a continental breakfast would be nice, if just cinnamon rolls to go with coffee in the spacious lobby!

I ended up booking a room at this hotel because my flight was diverted to Cincinnati due to airport closures in St. Louis. I was stuck at the airport at about 9:20 AM with nowhere to go and no rental car. I was looking online for hotels close to the airport with a shuttle. I called two hotels before calling the Holiday Inn. Those two hotels weren’t willing to accommodate an early check in nor sending me shuttle service. When I contacted the Holiday Inn, they were more than happy to send their shuttle to come pick me up at the airport. Allow me to check into my room as soon as I got there and we’re very Accommodating and gracious hosts. I’m not sure if it was the owner of the hotel who was in the shuttle with me back from the airport, but he assured me that he would help me get early check-in, which his courteous staff had already approved and were ready for me whenever I got here. My wife was driving from St. Louis to pick me up and the hotel staff was aware of that. They didn’t seem judgmental or closed off to that and to me are LGBTQ friendly. The room was spotless. The bathtub and the bathroom were among the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The water pressure was phenomenal, and the temperature was great. The bed was comfortable. There’s a large TV in the room as well as a Kurig coffee maker. I had breakfast included in the price of my room and it’s a full service restaurant that the breakfast comes from. Every staff member that we’ve encountered in our stay has been extremely friendly and kind. It looks like there may be new ownership of the hotel and you can tell that they are doing everything that they can to keep this property clean welcoming, and operating at its full potential. There are some renovations being done but it is not disruptive to the guests. The pool and fitness area were open and the pool is immaculate. I could go on and on about how great this hotel was, but i’ll stop here. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody in the area. It also looks like it could accommodate large conventions or meetings.

Paid $6 per day for airport parking and shuttle. Only downside is the shuffle runs on the half hour and can fill up. Overall a good deal.

We had to get an extra early check in due to flight changes. I called and they got us right in. At check in, they were fast and friendly. Appreciated them so much! Thank you!

I'm attending a conference at the hotel this weekend, and so far I'm having a blast! Everyone is friendly and kind and the place is beautiful! Not far of a drive either. I like the setup, location, service, and I'm grateful to get to enjoy a weekend here. Thank you!

Big Hotel had no idea how elegant. Service at front desk seemed a little "snobish", I felt like I was judged.

The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The location is near the airport. Very easy to get turned around in this hotel. Multiple doors to enter and exit from. Recommend you pay attention to the door you walk in and out of. I don't recommend the breakfast buffet only because it is $20 per person. Limited items. Some hotels call this a continental breakfast but this hotel charges $20 a person.

Got picked up by the shuttle. Very convenient. There was a dart tournament happening while we stayed there. Despite that, it was a great atmosphere. The breakfast was completely overpriced, but there is a subway next door that makes breakfast at a fraction of the price. Free coffee, and it was good. Would recommend.

I was surprised at how nice our room was, updated, clean, comfortable beds and great AC. Christian was very helpful when we had questions or needs. We took our kids to McKennas bar and restaurant for dinner and then again for breakfast and everything was delicious and surprisingly affordable, Jessica and Lisa gave us perfect service. We can't wait until our next Holiday.

Pleasantly surprised. Our flight got cancelled and this hotel had a shuttle. So we took it. Great place to get night sleep. Just keep in mind that nothing is around. But for us free shuttle and quiet room exactly what we needed.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the start, the kind folks at the front desk were very welcoming. I had made a huge mistake and booked my room for the wrong night, but they fixed me up with no issues whatsoever. I'm very grateful for that.

The lobby of this hotel has phenomenal atmosphere and is very welcoming. It's a bit of an indoor courtyard. The room was also nice. I had a terrific night of sleep, and the bed was really comfortable.

I've stayed here during the RAGT conventions for the past two years. It's been great for me each time. I must say all the staff has always been awesome, so helpful and friendly and my number one reason for five stars. The rooms I've stayed in have been super, with extras like
little fridges, micros, and coffee pots. Of course the desk, and table with chairs came in very handy. Roomy bathroom and clean. Beds were very comfy and clean.
The banquet room and boardrooms very well appointed, simply user friendly!
The in-house restaurant and bar very much appreciated!
I am looking forward to being back there this next week again for RAGT 2023.

This is an excellent hotel with very understanding staff! It could easily be a 4-star hotel in my book! No charge for adding someone to our room at the last minute who had a cancelled flight! They had the bedding ready for us by the time we got back from picking him up at the airport and they left it right outside the door because we left the do not disturb sign on the door. They even threw in a complimentary breakfast buffet for him (normally $18)! Thank you SO much, Holiday Inn and staff! You ROCK! You made the difficulties of this crazy holiday travel season so much easier and more pleasant to manage!!

I’m a spire elite member and asked for a room with whirlpool tub and got a free upgrade to a spectacular room! I have been very put off by IHG hotels recently but this location renewed hope! The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly with good drinks and decent food. The indoor pool and gym were clean and easily accessible. The lobby was sprawling and inviting. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. If I’m ever in the area, I will be staying here again.

A+ Airport Shuttle made it perfect for a quick overnight layover. The meeting rooms looked nice as well even though I did not use them.

Pool and mini-gym are decent.
I did not use the laundry room this time either but I am sure they have one.

Double tree is closer to airport but the extra $50-$60/night not worth it...

I recommend this hotel for all travelers seeking no fuss, award winning accommodations. Hospitality is a well established culture, demonstrated consistently among the hotel staff. All guest areas were clean and well maintained. The spacious lobby area is inviting and home to a large fountain. It’s churning water adds a fresh crispness to the scent of the air, in addition to the soothing sounds. There is a restaurant/bar on site, so no free breakfast buffet(sorry Moms & Dads). The indoor pool was open until midnight and had plenty of seating. The whirlpool area had been filled in with concrete(thanks Covid) and I didn’t see a dry sauna, which was listed as an amenity. Most establishments are still updating their services across various websites, so I advise calling to check beforehand.

I've been staying at this hotel for a few years for the Reader and Author Get Together! RAGT#23 was wonderful. I had a blast! The hotel was clean and the staff did a great job dealing with our rowdy bunch! Thank you to Holiday Inn Cincinnati Airport for taking care of us every year as we make unforgettable memories! We can't wait to see you next year!

Decent hotel for the price. Staff is always friendly. They have a very convenient airport shuttle to get you back and forth from the airport to the hotel at all times of day.

Some are the rooms are dated. Some are updated. All the rooms are usually clean. Restaurant is always good.

Quick two night stay to go to the Zoo. Big hotel. Looks a bit tired. It must have been quite a show piece awhile back. I can imagine many conventions and conferences were held there. Fun to see the Awards wall in the Lobby. Ate in the Restaurant both nights. Food was good. Breakfast buffet was very good. Our second morning was ala carte. Also very good. Room was fine. Lucked into a great parking place near entrance ( I am handicapped). Easy access to main roads. Very quiet for being near the Airport. If we return to the area, we will certainly stay here again. No complaints!

I use this hotel's airport parking (because it's the cheapest around at $6 a night) but I've never stayed here until this Christmas before a 5 am flight. After my flight got canceled in the middle of a winter storm, they welcomed me back and immediately let me re-book my same room for a second night so I could sleep/rest until my flight the next morning (again at 5 am).

Their restaurant and bar services are stupendous, breakfast buffet was solid for a hotel breakfast, and they let me borrow silverware from the restaurant when there wasn't any plastic silverware to eat my easy mac from the hotel snack bar.

Rooms are very clean and neat. They use bath and body works products.

Staff was super pleasant even midst a winter storm! They accommodated their employees so they didn't have to drive home in the storm.

The cost value of the room itself is a great value! Less than $100 a night (breakfast not included).
