This place is a hidden gem! Some of the best tacos I’ve had in awhile. Beats the taco trucks they have around the valley. Very flavorful, tender carne asada with savory homemade salsa! The service was warm & friendly as well. It was my first time here tonight so haven’t tried the other yet items, but if you’re looking for authentic tacos this is the place 👍

This place is amazing. They have great menudo and tacos. I recommend the tacos Al pastor.

This is my second time coming here. It did not disappoint. I had the #1 three taco combo with 16 oz beverage. I chose Al Pastor Style. The tacos were delicious and the sauce that came with them enhanced the flavor. Additionally, I ordered chips with salsa. The portions were perfect and filling. The service was impeccable. I will return to this restaurant again. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for authentic taste that is not a chain restaurant.

Great flavor don't mind the steak i like emm well done , carnitas tacos were amazing come here all the time never disappointed.

I ordered 3 Lingua Tacos, Horchata, and Strawberry Churros. What a great lunch!

The tacos are so good, I always ge the trips, however everything is delicious. The salsa or hot sauce is spicy and has the same consistency everytime we eat there. Love this place

I used to come here when I lived here. It was nice to see the owner's sons grown up and running the restaurant. The same cook is there, so the chile verde is delicious 😋 Meal goes best with Orchata!

Love this place. The family that runs it are super friendly and polite. I've never had any issue here and the food is seriously good stuff. I recently told the guy who's normally taking orders,

"You're seeing a lot more of me lately because this is the only place I'll eat out at anymore. If I'm spending 10-20 dollars on a meal, I'd like it to taste good and fill me up and no matter what I get here, it fits that description."

That's why I love these guys. Great food at a decent price.

The best Al Pastor street tacos. Great bargain at only $7 for 3 taco and includes a drink. Staff is friendly and the food is fast.

This is the spot for the best tacos hands down. Al Pastor is their most delicious and authentic taco, it’s to die for. The fish tacos are my second favorite thing on the menu! Their mojarra is good too. You won’t be disappointed. They have been around since I was a little kid too.

Freaking delicious. But watch it, the salsa they give you can just about melt your tongue. Holy smokes! So delicious, so hot, I couldn't resist to put more in my taco but then pain!!! Lol, without the extra spicy salsa, still these guys deserve high give star the place was hopping, the food was great, the service was fine, good came out correctly and quickly. What more could one ask for in a quaint little authentic Mexican eatery. Lovely place to take a date on a Friday. Have fun!

Taqueria El Rey’s carnitas tacos with pineapple are *exceptional.* Pair that with a Jarritos or horchata and you’ll be in a much better place emotionally than when you first walked in. The staff are very cool and friendly! It’s right off of the Mountain View Parkway and well worth the drive to the west side.

We just stopped in for a quick lunch. It’s solid, simple place. It’s authentic in the actual authentic sense- not in an Americanized way. Both my wife and I got a 3-taco special with the extras on the side. The sauce was pretty hot so be careful. The sides were radish, cilantro/onion, carrots marinated in something deliciously tangy, and lime. She got steak and I ordered lamb. Food came quickly and was hot. It’s a definite come-back-again place. Staff was friendly/professional and spoke solid English (although I speak Spanish).

Wonderful experience! Caeser and his family treat you like you’ve been coming for years . The food is delicious. Their salsa is spicy and amazing! I always order their smothered burrito, I try to order other items on their menu, but somehow I keep comping back to the burrito! Nice and clean place, room for groups of 8 and clean bathrooms! I will always come back!

If you know this spot, you know it’s the best for a reason. It’s a hidden gem. Ever since they had the one in Glendale they have never let up on the quality and sense of community.
