The barista was supposed great and knew his stuff. I got the Tome Latte so good. Got some book suggestions for my boys and left with two books. This will be a great place to meet or do some work. Plenty of parking in the rear, clean bathrooms.

Very cool little bookstore! I love the mural on the wall and all the decor around the shop, it gives it a great feel. The cafe offers a nice variety of options that you can enjoy while you shop. I also really like that they host all sorts of events, too. My family and I just enjoyed Cincy Bricks' Lego event last weekend

Amazing atmosphere, I could sit in there for hours! Great book selection! The owners are so inviting and full of positivity and smiles! The coffee is delicious !! I love supporting local business and I’m so excited anf happy to have this great place so close to home!!

We were Immediately greeted with authentic welcoming and friendly energy. I came with a friend and we discussed our favorite reads almost immediately upon entrance, enthusiastically, and the owner working at the time, appropriately jumped in and matched the energy of our banter sharing interesting insights and recommendations. Later, other patrons joined in our convos too, we joked and shared our favorite movie adaptations and similar. It’s a whole vibe here.

Also, the shop attached is really cute, and styles diverse. My friend and I enjoyed the cozy sitting area in the back space catching up. We had an incredible experience. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Awesome bookstore and amazing coffee. The sweetest owners, who go out of their way to help you and make you feel right at home. Their son was so sweet & polite as well. Books are reasonably priced and a great selection. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Stopped by while on a weekend trip to Cincinnati and this place is so comfy and great! Awesome selection of books, great drinks and a very cozy atmosphere. I will definitely return when I’m back in the area!

This place is so good for a person's soul. ❤ The coffee is honestly the best I've ever had. I'd rather go here than Starbucks any day and I actually love Starbucks. Yesterday was my birthday and I made it part of my plan to get coffee here because I love it so much. They have plenty of tables for you to sit and chill and drink your coffee or read a book or both. Their book selection is amazing too. As soon as I order my coffee, I always have to pop by the Classic and Comic sections. I can't go there and not buy a book. I've gotten myself in trouble now because I have this giant pile of sick books that I've only read a bit of 😅 Also, everyone there is so nice. They're so nice, I've actually made a genuine friendship with one of the baristas. And I'm not bullcrapping, we have traded phone numbers and we text and we may even live in the same apartment building soon. Not to mention the owners. They are two of the loveliest people I've ever met. They're a couple and the husband, JM Clark is a sick writer! Honestly. I bought the first book in his series a while ago and it's so good! I almost can't wait to finish it just so I can go get the second one in the series. 10/10 Would recommend.

A much needed and welcome addition to Mt. Washington! Coffee is delicious, scones are perfection, vibe is chill and geekcentric but not over the top or alienating for those who aren’t into that culture. Good selection of books so far, and they’ll order a book for you if they don’t have it. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve just opened, but you can tell they’ll quickly have a loyal following, and we’ll be among the first. If you’re looking for a local coffee shop and bookstore outside of the hyper corporate other choices around, this is the one! Wonderful place!

What a super fun and unique book and boutique store! There are tiny details to enjoy throughout the shop and a lovely selection of books. There is a cute room in the back to sit and enjoy a game of chess or read.

It's very different now from the photos and reviews. The book store is still there and really cute, an amazing little selection of books. Not a lot of variety, but what's there is intriguing. No more coffee shop, but there's a nice boutique in the back with tons of unique items from clothing and and jewelry to hair clips and other accessories. Everything I saw was for ladies. It was a cool experience though, I definitely recommend it! The workers are really nice too, great service and knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable.

This bookstore is amazing! It’s super easy to find! It’s definitely a whole vibe! From the atmosphere to the scenery and most of all the customer service is so professional! I love the amount of book selections they have and baaaaaaaaaaby that mural is soooo insane a picture does not do justice! You definitely have to stop by and check it out! Grab you a book or 3 (series) from the owner himself and get his signature while you’re there! I’ll definitely be back!

I'm so glad to have finally stopped in here! Neatly decorated, plenty of seating to grab a coffee and buy a new book to enjoy. We bought a book and a coffee each! The owner was working and was so kind and friendly. Looking forward to supporting this local business more! BTW, there's parking behind the store!

There is a lot to love about The Tome Bookstore. With an amazing selection of books, you're bound to find the next great read. The coffee and pastries are delicious. Beautiful artwork adorns the walls. Best of all, the owners and staff are inviting, friendly, and community-oriented. This will be your new favorite place to hang out, read, and work. I guarantee it.

The Tome is awesome! They have a great selection of seasonal drinks, a wide variety of books to choose from, and super friendly staff. Whether you're looking for a nice place to just sit and read or if you want an inspiring place to write your own stories, The Tome is hard to beat. There are lots of community events as well catered around creative writing, poetry, and even Dungeons & Dragons games being hosted here! Check it out!

I love The Tome! I go here often as a quiet place to study and drink coffee as a nursing student. I also enjoy their selection of books and the overall vibe. I am moving from Mt. Washington in the next few weeks but I have a feeling I will definitely still make my way to The Tome when I'm around the area or looking for a new read.

I usually don't write reviews but I will make an exception for this place. I've been to the Tome twice now. The atmosphere is cozy and fun, with very neat jazzy music, and great coffee and tea (the second time I only stopped by for a berry blast tea for my girlfriend, she is in love with it). The barista was very friendly, knowledgeable, and obviously enjoys his job. I haven't met the owner yet but I plan to return to buy one of his books very soon and maybe attend one of his writing workshops. It's nice to have a place like this so close to home.
