Hickory Grove Baptist Church

Praise Jesus for Hickory Grove Baptist Church! My kids enjoyed the Upward basketball and cheerleading so we decided to give church a try. We have been attending for a couple months now and it's been a great experience. They offer 3 different services on Sunday morning. There is sunday school for the kids to attend while we go into the service. Everyone we have met has been very warm and welcoming.

We have been participating in their upward program for several seasons now. Travis and all the team are class acts, love the kids and community, provide a great service to develop young people, and just do an amazing job serving and loving on everyone. First class experience, and I know that comes through in not only their ministry but their church experience, too!

I've been looking for a church my whole life that I felt at home. Hickory Grove it it! I became a member 5 years ago and I am so glad I did. I love everything about it. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. All kinds of groups. Great things for kids. And it's not huge so you feel like just another face on the crowd. And they have three services to choose from.

My family and I have been looking for a church the last few years. We have found it at HG. Both my kids enjoy the kids service. My wife and I feel like we get something from the messages every Sunday.

Wonderful, vibrant church with a diverse membership and clean, growing facilities including a gymnasium, plenty of youth and meeting space, and lots of parking. The people who attend here are friendly, the music is worshipful, the sermons are biblically based and the pastor and staff love the Lord.

Hickory Grove is attached to the people in the Independence area, but even more so to Christ! From the Pastors to the servants this church is here to help people find Christ and keep him in view. Whether old or young, white or black everyone is welcome as family.
Don't hesitate to stop by at any of the services, or the Bible classes after or during service. I love coming to the Grove, Jesus Word says, where two or more are gathered in my name that I am there, so come and sit with Jesus and praise him, give him honor, and learn that he loves you so much, and so do i.

The love of God in the walls is amazing been going to Hickory Grove my whole life!!! Love it very recommended coming here on Sunday!!!

I love this church I always feel anointed after leaving here and blessed! Brother Bill is so anointed in his sermons always said where they need to every week he is an amazing pastor!!!!

You won’t find a better place to visit to feel community, warmth and a sense of purpose. If you’ve never been and are at least considering it I recommend taking the plunge. Maybe the most important decision you’ll ever make.

Truth is spoken and love is shared here. Having a mission to "do whatever it takes to help everyone take their next step with Jesus Christ" says that they care about people.

They have free day care for Kenton County School worker's children. How wonderful is that!

I love love love this church. Very welcoming and friendly people.

They hosted the twenhaufle middle school choir. It was a very nice facility
