I made it home due to this man's kindness. Far away from family and friends, my car started having trouble. I knew no one in the area but found his place on google and puttered into his shop. Immediately, he knew what was wrong and even though I was hitting at the end of a long day, he added me to his schedule and expertly made the repairs in just a couple of hours. He charged me a very fair price and would not charge me more even though I asked him to do so for all the extra trouble he went to on my account. I added his number to my contacts before leaving. This kind of businessperson is such a rare find.

God blessed me today through him. He helped me when I had nowhere else to go and I was so happy I cried as I started home. The car drove great the rest of the way! Thank you, Rob!

Mechanics in Cincinnati were quoting me a 6,000 for an entire transmission REPLACEMENT. Rob took time to figure out exactly what needed to be done and realized it was only a small part. His attention to detail and honest work saved me so much time and money and we are so appreciative of him! This is the second car I have taken to Rob for transmission work. He repaired my 2007 Fusion around 150K miles, that car now has over 340K miles and still runs strong. Bought another Fusion, 2014 with 148K miles with the transmission not working, took it straight to Rob and Barb. Car was repaired in a timely manner and came in on budget. Very easy to communicate with and both are very professional. When picking up the car, Rob was very informative and we discussed the work that was completed. You can tell Rob is passionate about the work he performs, and it shows in the quality of work he puts out. This is the only transmission shop I would use. 100% recommend!

Rob and Barb are the best in town. If you're looking for an honest and reliable mechanic look no further. Rob has an encyclopedic knowledge of many different makes & models and he's an ASE certified mechanic. Barb has excellent communication skills and you won't have to worry about not getting a call back from her. They make accurate estimates, keep you up-to-date on your car's progress, and Rob's mechanical work is impeccable. They care about their work and their reputation and it really shows. I can't speak highly enough of Rob and Barb and I will consistently recommend them to my friends and family.

Master mechanic at work! Nobody takes time to repair transmission anymore, easier and cost more to swap. Rob always has saved me money on all repairs on my cars. He easily knows whats wrong and fixes it with high quality craftsmanship.

I quite literally live in and travel long-distance with a 36-year old Chevy van several other local mechanics told me wasn’t worth the work it needed. I first took it to Rob for a simple water pump replacement and since then he and Barb have been the primary support keeping it on the road when anyone else may have just given up on it. Since then he’s replaced/rebuilt the entire fuel system, repaired exhaust, sourced vacuum leaks, replaced valve seals (shops previously said this wasn’t possible and I should just replace the whole engine), and corrected so many other sleeper problems for safe measure all while giving me a ton of confidence in a classic vehicle that hauls quite literally my whole life. When it broke down in Cincinnati last fall, I had it towed all the way back to them instead of trying to find a local I didn’t trust and didn’t know the story. I don’t have to retire my van anytime soon because of them and that’s priceless. It’s the same hands and mind working on your vehicle every time and I’ll keep taking mine back there for as long as I am near Louisville.

Rob is a very knowledgeable and competent mechanic. Barb is a wonderful shop manager. Together they make a great team. They both seek quality care at a nominal cost for patrons. It can be difficult to get in at times but it is well worth the wait. I recommend them highly !
