John is the best mechanic a person could ask for. He makes time in his schedule to help with car troubles even if it’s not at a convenient time. He’s answered many of my questions I’ve had through text or a phone call even if it’s something minor to help me understand how things work. Very transparent on costs of repairs and always shows me the old parts. I ended up with a lemon that kept breaking down every few weeks like clockwork and he encouraged me to sell it. He was great about looking at cars to make sure they were going to be reliable and ended up helping me find a new one when I was struggling to find a reliable car within my limited budget. We will not take our cars any other places for other needed maintenance unless he has given his stamp of approval. If John were a doctor, I’d trust him with my life. At least I know I can trust him with the life of my car.

John,Jerry and Justin did a marvelous job on my truck on 04/21/23 around 7pm. Their customer care is super fantastic. I really appreciate the work they did on my truck. John went into details and explained every single issue to me. I'm really glad they were opened around that time as well. You can always count on them whenever you are on the interstate.

If your vehicle doesn't actually need some recommended maintenance because that maintenance was already done recently, he will turn down your cash (while others would lie and take the money). Totally awesome. Cash only, so save up, then get your repairs done right for less by mechanics you can trust.

If I could go higher if I could! We were on the freeway heading to Twin Falls Idaho when the check engine light on my Ford truck started blinking and the engine started fluttering. He was the only shop open on Saturday afternoon. So, we drove in at 12:40, and he was amazing! We were back on the road at 1:10 and the rates were more than reasonable!!! He even provided a warranty! Thank you, John!!!

Had a good experience, and very timely service as well. Got my F150 brake master cylinder replaced, and he topped off some other fluids.
Also, I asked John to take a look at what was going on with my check engine light. I was told at another shop that I needed a major engine repair (valve job), for $7,000 😧. John went out of his way to find the right Ford diagnostic tool, and recommended a new spark plug and coil on that cylinder. I replaced those, and cleared the engine light, and it's running as good as new now! The 2 parts were $55! That saved me $6,945 over the other shop. Thanks for being available, up front, and honest!

Everything good that's in these reviews, you can take to the bank. John just added me as another forever customer. Every good thing is 100%. John just did a complete brake/rotor/caliper job on my 2006 Highlander and after we squared up, he gave me a picture of what he encountered while doing it. So much rust had built up they had to clean everything up in order to even do the job. He didn't show me this in order to charge me more, He showed it to me because he was proud of the work he did for me. we talked about a lot of things, and I wish I'd have met him before I just got new tires, he'd have saved me some good money. I'm going back in next week to have my serp and AC belts changed, because I know the job will be done right but more importantly, I know that if they see anything else while they're working on my old girl they'll let me know and take care of me when they do.

John is awesome. Went out of his way to get my car fixed. Took his time explaining everything to me and showing me what needed to be done and made 100% sure that the issue was resolved before I paid. And great price especially for what you’re getting. Can’t recommend this guy enough. I will be going back for all my future car needs and will recommend him to all my family and friends. 9.2023- now my wife has had her vehicle worked on she is also impressed. I've also had John work on my car again. I'm impressed with his memory and capacity to work in my vehicle.

I had urgent car trouble on a Saturday and was hours away from home. He took time to get us back on the road so we could make it home. I would absolutely recommend anyone do business here.

BEST MECHANIC AROUND!! He diagnosed my check engine light super fast, and was able to turn it off for me and even checked my fluids and filters. If you're looking for an awesome mechanic he is definitely the one for you! Also super great to talk to and unbeatable prices.

John went above and beyond all expectations! While on a cross country trip, our brakes started squeaking around 10PM on Saturday night. John really came through and saved us from having to put our trip off another day or two. He came to the shop and helped us immediately. He was honest, fair and very friendly! John was having a bad day, but he still fit us into his overbooked schedule, and got our car repaired and on the road that very day.

I called Macedone auto about having my power steering fluid and brake fluid changed because the dealer told me it needed to be done. Based on the age of the vehicle and miles, John told me to save my money and it didn't need to be done. He saved me $250+! He also gave me other advise on ways to save $ and even offered to teach me how to change my own cabin filter! I feel like John was very honest and went above and beyond. I will definitely be taking my cars to him for any future needs.

John does not really need any extra publicity as he stays as busy as he wants through the reputation he has built. But the reviews you see are true: he is an outstanding mechanic, he is completely upfront & honest, and his prices are very fair. What more do you want from an auto repair shop? He has serviced my vehicle multiple times, always takes the time to explain things thoroughly, and then execute a complete, professional fix at prices that will not be beat in this area.
