I moved close to the area 2 years ago. This is the BEST taco place by far within miles.
Great customer service! Astonishing food! The energy in the building is warm and authentic! This is the only place I will go to eat a taco let alone any Hispanic food! Thank you to the cooks and the owners for bringing such astounding food to the area! I hope to have you around for many many years!

This is our new found secret in Ogden. Tucked away, it’s easy to miss, but now hard to pass by! All the food tastes like you’re sitting in the kitchen of a Mexican abuela. Homemade thick corn tortillas, delicious salsa and homemade chips, and flavorful meat, etc., I haven’t had anything I didn’t like here. The atmosphere is also fun and laid back. You MUST try their agua fresca! So delicious. Our kids love it too! This restaurant is owned by a local family (my husband knows their daughter) and you can tell they truly put their heart and soul into the restaurant!

Wow these are some of the best tacos I have ever had and I've had a lot. Prices are good for the amount of food. There is usually a line at lunch because so many people eat here for lunch so that tells you it's pretty good.

Birria tacos con queso were fantastic! The consumé is really flavorful. Their house chips and salsa is unique and delicious. Even the beans and rice were above average! Service was friendly and the restaurant seems like your grandma's kitchen (just on a bigger scale). Good prices and worth every penny! I'll keep coming back!

My husband and I ate here for lunch the other day. We got there about 1:30 and it wasn’t packed at all. The food was SOOO delicious! I got the carne asada tacos. He got the Birra burrito. Both dishes were really good! Fresh tasting, authentic Mexican food!

I also got the lime water- amazing! And my husband got the pineapple drink- amazing too! I highly recommend this place. The restaurant was clean, the food was really good, the service was top notch- 5 stars!

The place is placed back off the street so you really need to be looking for it to see it. The food is something good! The torta is excllent sandwich if you get it. It comes with veggies, meat of choice, avocado and sauce. Only wished they had al-pastor for meat choice.

If you're looking for some delicious Mexican food well this is the spot! The Agua frescas are amazing! So quenching! With their spectacular array of dishes I literally wanted them all. The empanadas con chicken & cheese were mouth watering. The menudo was so tasty and the Birria soup was tantalizing. I cannot forget about the wet burrito, with green chile poured over the top was to die for! The atmosphere was a perfect setting for a Sunday morning with the hente all around it was definitely a family environment! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Casa de Nena! This was very amazing!! We went unexpectedly & it turned out to be a really amazing meal. Their agua frescas are really yummy & the atmosphere is very authentic. I was so glad we went there! 10/10 recommend

If you're into fine dinning this isn't the place for you.
If you're into authentic Mexican food this is the place.

I had the Tacos De Birria with cheese and they were amazing. I plan to try everything on their menu.

They were packed for lunch. I had to wait for parking and for a place to sit.
Worth it though. If you can make it during off hours I would recommend it.

Our first time visiting and dinner was delicious. Food was temperature hot, flavorful, and service was great. We will be going back.

We ordered takeout from here, the empanadas were so good! Highly recommend!
We tried to call in an order but we couldn't reach them, when we got there we noticed that the number on their sign was different from the number on Google, hopefully it's fixed now though.

The empanadas are five stars, but the service is a one-star experience that maybe adds to the overall ambiance. You can tell they’re trying but disorganized. Regardless, I’ll go back and let them mess up other orders because they were phenomenal.

The environment was awesome, fantastic staff. The Birria tacos were very good, the red sauce was the show winner! Tasty and pretty hot. Covered the taco with the hot sauce and dipped in broth. MmmmmmMmmmmmm would recommend!

The food was delicious. We had the birria tacos and shredded beef enchiladas. The birria was excellent.

Loved the food I got and the salsa. It was actually spicy! I brought some home with me actually. There menu changes over the weekdays and weekend. They even have a taco Tuesday. Great little Mexican restaurant and would recommend it

I am always looking to try new food and new places. I am happy to report today I went to birria heaven. I also really enjoyed their guacamole salsa and the chips. It really does pulls this restaurant away from any other Mexican restaurant here in Ogden that most of the time they use regular salsa. Don't get me wrong I love salsa and chips but go and try their guacamole and you will understand what I am talking about. I also tried their agua de tamarindo and all lord it tasted so good. It takes you back to Mexico for a minute. Staff is also friendly. I hope one day they open a restaurant here in central Ogden because they would be making a lot people happy including me. Great job Casa de Nena's owner. Can't wait to stop by again.

Fantastic shrimp taco and birria tacos, the carne asada was chewy and dry. My coworker got the chili verde burrito and said it was a little sweet but good.
