Eva Bandman Park & Cyclocross Venue

The best public spot to watch a sunset on the Ohio (near downtown Louisville) if you catch it when the water is low.

Lovely place to relax, enjoy a picnic, walk, sit and enjoy the river, the view. Plenty of space to be alone and meditate, reflect on life, etc. I love all the green space, yet plenty of park like extras

A pretty cool secret. If entering from the West don't give up. There is a bike path between the shrubbery at the end of the sidewalk. This is the secret. Very much like legend of zelda if you understand nerd.

The park has seen a resurgence in 2022 with several volunteer groups taking the lead on cleaning and maintaining. Events have returned and this park should be in nice shape in 2023. Excellent for beginner mountain bikers.

Closest park to the waterfront that offers some feeling of privacy and nature. Can take your suv back into the woods and sit next to the river. Kyayk down Harrods creek or even the river. Good place to fish

Fun to fish where beargrasscreek empties into the river. Also fishing along the riverbank. I caught a decent catfish and my wife caught 2 large buffalo fish.

Very chill area to hang out.. good place for hammocks along the water

Very beautiful and peaceful. The weather is perfect right now to just take it all in. With the leaves changing colors I felt like I was inside of a painting. GORGEOUS!

Great venue for Cyclocross racing. Each year the course gets better and more refined. Papa Johns is the Major sponsor for the event and usually participates by dressing up in costumes. This is a lot of fun.
