I had an amazing time at Embshoff Woods today, it was a refreshing break from the daily grind. The fitness trail is just over 1 mile long and is a nature trail that winds its way through the forest. The trail is well-maintained, and there are several parkour stations along the way, making it perfect for those who enjoy working out in nature. As I walked along the trail, I saw a lot of other people out enjoying the beautiful day too. Some were casually walking, while others were decked out in workout gear, taking advantage of the fitness stations along the trail. One thing that really stood out to me about Embshoff Woods is the abundance of wildlife. I saw several birds, squirrels, and even a deer off in the distance. The scenery was breathtaking, with tall trees towering overhead and a cool breeze rustling the leaves. The trail itself is relatively easy, with only a few inclines and declines, making it accessible to people of all fitness levels.
Overall, I highly recommend Embshoff Woods to anyone who enjoys nature walks or outdoor workouts. It's a beautiful park with well-maintained trails and plenty of opportunities to connect with nature. Whether you're looking to get in a quick workout or just take a leisurely stroll, this park has something for everyone.

Love coming here with my pups, they enjoy all the open space to run around. Rainy days are the best time for us to come, so peaceful and beautiful. Occasionally it can be a little too crowded, but what can you expect for such a great park.

Great park! Solid parcours trail but looks like it's going away.

A fantastic place on the West side of the city! My kids enjoy the Parkour loop, even though it's in need of a major update to its equipment. The playground is new though.

This is my favorite park to walk my dog. I love the trail and everything the park has to offer.

The playground is tons of fun for the kids, the restrooms are clean and spacious, the walking trail is great. There is abdisc golf course that's well maintained. Lots of shelters to choose from if you want to rent them or use if they are available. The grounds are clean and well maintained.

One of the overlooked parks in the Great Parks network. It has frisbee golf, picnic areas, large open spaces, a modern playground, and best of all is the hiking trail with the exercise stations thru the woods. It's rarely busy somehow.

Beautiful feature of the area. Wooded with a looping walking trail and another that takes you south west. Frisbee golf course and the trails are extremely well-maintained.

Large quiet park. Mostly local people and families. Fitness trail is a nice walk and the playground is gear more to older kids but they have a little kids portion as well.

The restrooms and water fountains are back open as of 9-4-22. They were closed for maintenance for a long while. The park is back to one of our favorite once again. Thanks great parks.

Nice park with a bunch of covered areas for partying, disc golf.. playgrounds (pretty good for pokemon go)

My little one loves this park! He spends hours in it, and the shelter right off the playground is good to sit and eat lunch. The bathrooms were being worked on last time, but they're usually quite clean and tidy. The playground is really only for kids 6 and under, but I think even a 10 year old would probably have fun here. The parkour trail is a challenge, but fun to do with a group. Even better if you're competitive and have someone to compete against, since there are challenges of varying degrees throughout.

What a great park.... numerous playgrounds, shelter areas / picnic tables, and trails. We were there last weekend for a Birthday party and had a great time.
After the party we played a round of frisbee golf at their course. The frisbee golf course was a great starter course for our son (11) who is just starting to play.

Very nice play park for kids. Shaded bench area for parents to watch as kids play. Even a misting/sprinkler for kids to cool off in the heat
Playground has up-to-date activity equipment and rubber "mulch" so if they fall they land on soft material not hard cement.

Love this place, i have done many many parties here and the kids and adults always have a blast!

Enjoyed this park, the play area has the chipped tire for mulch so it's nice for the little ones, and the play equipment is wonderful, the Kids love it. We went on the trail and were able to cool off in the sprinkler afterwards. Will definitely visit again

Love the walking trail with workout stations. Play area nice and clean. 2 water fountains. Rented a shelter for our family reunion. Larger play area by main restrooms and walking trail. Swing set down by shelters and restrooms also baseball field and frisbe golf. Only thing is no consession stand open in the 20 years I lived here but we just bring our own picnic items. Friendly, nice , quiet neighborhood.

Great park with a Disc Golf Course. Disc Golf Course needs some work. Narrow mowed fairways and poorly maintained baskets. It's basically a putt and approach course. But it's an easy place to take your dog and throw a few discs.

Great trails that have exercise stations, good playground, they have a large frisbee golf course, always feels safe.
It's a great place to go sledding in the winter, lots of safe hills.
Also good for bike riding, soccer, baseball, etc.

Great place for a graduation🎓 party and picnic in the park🏞 with family and friends on a beautiful summer🌤 day. We had fried chicken from Ron's Roost and it was delicious. There were many other wonderful side dishes, hors d'oeuvres and desserts. 😀

Beautiful and quiet. Very well kept and many things for a nature lover to enjoy.
