Sonny's BBQ

Flavor of food and service were incredible! We got the fried okra and sampler platter of meat with coleslaw. Really like the original BBQ sauce I added to brisket. Ribs and chicken had fantastic flavor. Coleslaw tasted fresh and was some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend!

Always great service. By far the best chicken in the area the 1/2 chicken is always so moist and tender. If you have any left over it comes home and makes a great chicken salad for a sandwich later. However I miss the corn on the cobb. Staff is always patient I have a large family and that is our go to place. Thanks to all the servers and management we truly appreciate you.

I placed a catering order through this store with the help of Chelsy, the sales manager, for my wedding after party. The ordering process was super easy and the food was delivered hot and on time. The delivery girl was very helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

We ordered pulled pork, brisket, bbq beans, potato salad, mac and cheese, corn bread, lemonade and iced tea. All of our guests enjoyed the food and we are so pleased that we went with Sonny's!

Came in to eat with a friend of mine. Ace was our server and he was very polite, had a smile from ear to ear, had a contagious laugh and very knowledgeable of the menu inside and out. Drinks were refilled before they were empty. Probably the best dine in service and server that I’ve had this year. Keep up the good work!!!

Abby was our server and she was amazing! My boy (3yo) was running around and while other places might judge, Abby made us feel right at home. She assured us it was okay, and we had an amazing experience! 😊

This place was great! They could see one lady in our party is somewhat handicapped and seated us near the door so she didn't have to walk far. Our waitress was amazing and very detail oriented. She offered suggestions and explanations that worked out very well for us.

The atmosphere was pleasant and laid back. It was nice to be able to have a conversation without having to yell over music.

The food was both plentiful and delicious! I chose the Sonny's Sampler, but was able to completely customize the sides to my liking and dietary needs. One would have expected that much food to cost more, but the prices were reasonable and in my opinion doable even for a family. I even had to take a box, and our waitress offered a to-go cup for my drink and added more tea to top it off. If I lived in this area I would definitely be a regular patron!

Abby was great, she kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed! And to top it off the food was fresh and delicious! Will definitely be back.

Abby was my server for my brunch date she is very respectful and sweet she got my food out fast and correct o never had to ask for anything or look for her when I needed a feel because she would beat me to asking she makes sure your experience is a good one I would definitely ask for her

Hands down the best BBQ 😁 I will be back every time I come to Lexington area. A must try. The loaded tots and BBQ salad were a big hit with our crew I'm more of a carnivore I loved the ribs and pulled BBQ.

I am a Sonny's fan. Great pulled pork, but all their meat choices are good. Good sides. Never a bad experience.

Abby is the best server. She is so attentive and very kind and aware. Very refreshing having someone who cares about their job!

My first taste of bbq in Kentucky on a work trip and to sum it up this place is amazing, friendly, and delicious! Definitely stopping by a few more times while I'm in town!

Food is always great, as expected. So glad we have a Sonny's in Kentucky, as it has always been a favorite when we lived in Florida.
