Best studio in Cincinnati and only getting better. A good 60% of the recordings I leave the studio with make it to a publisher or A&R desk. My songs are good but the reason for this is Tony's great engineer & production skills. He is quick and professional. Never wastes my time. Again, the best studio in Cincinnati and with the 2024 expansion, it will only get better.

When I was looking for a studio to mix/master my first LP, I chose BlackLite. It was the best decision. I’ve released four more LP/EPs with Tony. Each time his work ethic, technical expertise, and fundamental understanding of music made the sessions productive, creative, and, most importantly, fun. Plus, he’s an audio-editing wizard. Samantha handles marketing and logistics, and she makes booking and paying for studio time a breeze. I look forward to working with the BlackLite team on future projects.

Been going to Max for years now and not only is he completely professional and always getting better, but he's seriously one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He's been able to take my ideas coming into the studio and help me craft them into something beautiful. He's helped me become comfortable trying different vocal styles. Ken the guitarist is very knowledgable and will help you create music in less than a day while Samantha expertly handles all of the logistics & scheduling. Tony the producer is extremely talented and will turn your song into a complete masterpiece! It's so cool what they do - I highly recommend this place.

We are now working on our second Blacklite album and we came back for a reason - Blacklite is the BEST! Tony is incredibly patient and professional. He has a great ear and always has just the right recommendation without ever overstepping the artist's creative space. Samantha is very responsive to scheduling calls/texts and does everything she can to make payment easy. You'll never feel like your time or money is being wasted - this is an honest, hardworking, and talented team!

Working with Blacklite has been one of the best decisions I ever made as an independent artist looking for professional quality sound at a price that I, yes "I", (a newly graduated college student) can afford! Tony will work with you until your song is EXACTLY how you want it and puts in so much time and effort to make sure he is producing the highest quality product for the artist. Even since moving to New York City, I have not yet found a studio that can compare with Blacklite. This is not only due to the prices and quality, but also the heart! This place is AMAZING. Blacklite is the most professional, highest quality studio I have ever been to! (Cincinnati, Atlanta and Los Angeles studios included) Tony is so professional, easy to work with, and SO skilled musically. I literally found “my sound” by accident in this studio, because of how well produced everything is and how well my music was understood by him. The best producer/engineer I’ve ever worked with by far. They also have incredible studio musicians who have patiently and skillfully built songs with me from the ground up. I HIGHLY recommend recording your next project here at Blacklite. You will not regret it!!

I worked with Tony on a project that needed to be mixed + mastered and I could not be happier with the end result. To start with, the studio space was clean and organized and I felt very comfortable during my time there.
In addition to a clean studio space, Tony also communicated with me every step of the way about how I wanted my music to sound/be heard as well as innately cleaning up anything that was already a little sloppy to begin with. He clearly knew what he was doing, which was a huge help for someone who had never been involved with a studio setting before.
I could say something like, "I want this to be a little brighter," or "can we open up the low ends a little bit so that the highs come through more," and Tony was on it, delivering the sound that I had in my head.
If that's not enough, the time that I was quoted for the project was the time it took to complete-- big ups for that.
All in all, I would highly recommend giving Blacklite a shot if you have some music that you need worked on.

I just recorded new music there a few days ago I was referred by my music team and I’m so so glad I went there! Amazing!! Very professional! My music and voice sounds amazing the quality is great perfect! Perfection! They have the best quality equipment to make your voice and music sound its best! They have they best tools to create a great quality sound for you! Tony was great professional he came up with such a great creative quality sound for me I love it! They are the number one best recording studio in Cincinnati and I see why! and now that’s my new recording home where I’ll be recording whenever I need to record music I will be there period!
