I first went to a dealership to have an exhaust and water leak checked. They did a full inspection of my car and found no problems but decided they should reseal my cabin. Would have cost me about $2,000. I brought it to Frank's to get a second opinion and I can't be happier I did. Not only did they find the cause of the leak (a blocked drain that they cleared for free) but they found an actual problem with my suspension. They had the work done quickly and the car feels better than ever. The texted report showing everything they found along with photos and having a number to text for updates is amazing.

Frank's Auto was very easy to get an appointment with quickly. I was able to work in their front office while I waited for me car. All of the employees were very nice and they got the job done quickly! I'll definitely be returning there for future needs.

Franks got me right in for new rotors after my steering wheel was acting wobbly when I would press on the brake. They fixed everything the same day and had my car out and driving smooth again. I would absolutely recommend Frank’s to anyone who is looking for a good mechanic. I felt like the price was fair, they were very friendly and efficient. Thanks for taking care of me!

This place is just the best! When I told them I had an Audi they were the only mechanics that did go ugh over the phone but instead they were like being it on in! They replaced my timing chain for a couple thousand less than the originally quoted me and then went above and beyond to fix some other things I had asked them about. When I took my car in for emissions it was going to take longer than expected so the owner even offered to drive me to work and pick me up when the car was done so I wouldn't be waiting there for a few hours. Very friendly and honestly the best customer service I've ever gotten from a mechanic or anywhere to be honest. I will be a lifelong customer for sure.

Frank's Auto is frankly honest and service oriented. I took our 2008 Honda CRV to Frank's because it was caughing, shuddering and had lost almost all "get up and go" at the Green Lights". Two other auto shops had looked at the symptoms, gave it a test drive (some times it wouldn't even start), but both shops told us they couldn't do $200 - $900 repairs without ordering and waiting for spare parts. We really needed the car in two days, so I drove over to Franks Auto. Just to see what they might do.
The service specialist was their and overheard me telling the receptionist how urgently we needed the car. So, he stepped in and said, "We'll, Let me take a quick look at it to see what I can find." In half an hour he called and told us the car was repaired and ready for pick up. We went right back and the car was working beautifully.
He said, "Who ever last serviced the car must have forgotten to reconnect the exhaust return sensor line. So, I just reconnected it. No charge!"
Well I could think of a couple of places that had serviced the car just before the problem, but it wasn't Franks! This was the first they had ever seen my car. But, it won't be the last. Frank's is Frankly Honest and frankly service oriented!

Frank’s Auto was referred to me as a place that specializes in Subaru’s after two mechanics couldn’t help me and suggested I go to the dealership. Young Subaru quoted me $4k. That seemed outrageous, so I decided to get a second opinion. I’m so glad I did. It ended up costing me less than half. As a woman it’s easy to get bamboozled when it comes to cars. I truly feel I can trust Sean and his team to give me the truth and only take care of what is absolutely necessary at a fair price for both of us. I’ll absolutely be going here from now on.

I was looking at a used car in North Ogden, but live about 2 hours away. Found Franks Auto online, saw their great reviews, and wanted to support a family business. I took the car to them for a pre-purchase inspection. They were able to get me in that day and did a thorough job checking everything out. They gave me an in-depth verbal and digital report of the vehicle condition, including pictures. Had a great chat with the shop owner while the tech looked over the car. If I didn't live 2 hours away, I would take all my cars to them. Shop has been around for a long time, so they must be doing something right! My experience was consistent with all of the other positive online reviews. I ended up buying the car and it's been great!

I was traveling through the Ogden area and had an issue with my Ram 3500. I stopped in at Frank's and they were great! Friendly, very helpful in diagnosing the issue and reassuring me about continuing on my trip.

New to town and I felt very welcomed. Sean was honest and didn’t do unnecessary things to my car. Has years of experience and very straightforward. Will definitely be bringing my car here from now on.

Being a former mechanic I'm pretty picky about who works on my vehicle. These guys are top notch Matt is my go too guy for just about everything I need . If I could give them a 6 star I wouldn't hesitate

We had our vehicle towed there a couple days ago, due to our starter not working. I was expecting for it to take weeks to even get looked at, due to previous experience that other mechanics. Not only did they get it looked at And diagnosed, but they got it repaired same day. They We’re super helpful and they even picked my husband up so we didn’t have to load three kids into the car. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Not only did I promptly receive a diagnosis for my car problem, but the repairs were done quickly and with most communication that I've ever received from a repair shop. Highly recommend!

The girl who took my call was bright, friendly, and professional. She got me set up for an appointment and they got my car in quickly.

I left a long list of issues I had with my car in a note. They were respectful of my request to do an inspection and call me before starting any work (unlike another shop in the area that took my tires completely off and tried to sell me brakes that they had already done 4 months prior when all I asked for was an oil change. **Midas**)

They did the inspection and emailed me a link with comprehensive information. It beautifully shows all the information about their inspection and discovery.

When I called to go over the results the receptionist already knew my information and spoke intelligently about what was needed and when and what I could wait on. She was able to give me multiple numbers based on what I wanted to work on and what I wanted to wait on.

Over-all I had a great experience and will be taking my car there for all my future repairs.

Hard to find a trusted mechanic anymore, but Frank has figured out a way to be that guy. Thank you and your crew for being fair, honest and helpful, keep up the great work!

Honest shop that does good work. They give you the truth about what's going on with your vehicle and don't try to get you to fix things that would just make them money. We'll definitely keep bringing our cars here for any work we need to get done!

Love this place! I have a 2021 and they are up to date with current technologies that go along with that. They keeping my engine clean etc and taken care of and I Absolutely trust their friendly, honest employees. They charge an honest amount for their service. Very pleased and happy. Definitely where I will continue to take my car!! Thanks Frank's Auto!

I drive an 04 thats began to have pretty regular issues from engine trouble to transmission to suspension. Ive had it in a number of shops in the Ogden area and Frank's is hands down the best. They are honest and do quality work. They are up front with the cost as well as what repairs are urgent/can wait.
After one repair I still had some trouble so I went back by and they honored the warranty 100% no questions asked and had me back on the road.
All in all if you want to actually get your car fixed and not empty your wallet, go to Frank's.

They are so great to work with. They get the work done and stick to their estimate. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent automotive repair shop in northern Utah.

I just happened to drive by Franks Auto just after moving into Utah & this area. I knew I needed a mechanic and figured I would ask around. I drove by and immediately knew this is where I was going to take my car in. I didn’t look at reviews just called and made an appointment for both my cars. I’m now taking one of my cars back to get the rest of the work done. Such an incredibly nice family and work staff. I will forever take my cars here. I definitely trust and admire them. Thank you !
