Best Western Plus High Country Inn

What a great place to stay! It’s right next to the highway, very easy access. There’s a gas station right across the road for quick fuel before you leave. Our kids loved it! They asked to use their scooters on the walking paths and were told as long as they were careful they were welcome, which was so nice after A long day of riding in the car from Montana. Jeremiah’s was fantastic, the kids meals were huge and very affordable. Rooms are big and clean. I have zero complaints and only nice things to say about our stay!

This hotel and the people are beautiful. Room clean, nice and had everything needed. The new gr punta in the back have flowers, ducks, ponds, waterfalls, benches, walkways and even a fireplace. Absolutely peaceful. The breakfast was very good as well. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

What a great find while traveling with our dogs! Clean rooms - no carpet- walk out ground level outside to convenient fenced dog area. They even have one area for big dogs and one area for little dogs. Rachel the manager was very welcoming and helpful. Decent food at the on site restaurant and a nice breakfast spread with good coffee.
We will stay here again no doubt!

Jess was great! Idk what they are paying her but it's not enough. She had me checked in in my room with all the info I needed in 10min. The place is beautiful, the rooms are cozy & the breakfast was WORTH IT

Clean rooms, comfy beds, and a beautiful little walking area! I have a service dog, and he's always welcome here. The floors were actually clean, which is always a worry! I've been places and found loose pills or small unknown food pieces that he tries to gobble up! I recently had to stay without him, and as nice and as comfortable (which is VERY comfortable) as the pet rooms are, the pet free ones were amazing! Highly recommend a stay here !

This was an amazing hotel. From the check in process, to the comfy beds, to the dog park, to the pool and the breakfast in the morning. Just wow. Impressive.

The lady who helped me check in was super sweet. The app I got the room through messed up on everything. From my name -first and middle only- to what I needed - two beds- and with dog. She fixed everything and was able to accommodate me. The rooms were very roomy and updated. The beds were some of the comfiest I’ve slept in. The vinyl floors were very nice. The bathrooms were super tiny but that’s okay. We just needed it for a night after skiing and more in the morning. The pool and hot tub were just perfect. The dog park. Let’s talk about the dog area. I loved it. If you are traveling with your dog. Come here. It was awesome. Pictures included. The breakfast was delicious. A ton of options. They also have a fun little area behind the dog park with a pretty waterfall, a couple of ponds you can feed the fish, sit out in the sun or walk around the paths they made around it. Beautiful area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at here, and it exceeded all my expectations. I was staying overnight but could’ve stayed here for longer. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were clean and the amenities were great. The Breakfast provided was excellent & the location made it convenient to access the highway. The grounds were decorated very nicely and there was a spacious area for the dogs to run and sniff. The attention to detail truly made my stay comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing experience.

I have stayed at this property at least 3 times over the last few years, and while it is no longer new, the property, buildings, common areas and guest rooms are maintained exquisitely. The rooms are large, very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The furniture is substantive and in good condition. My King Bed was very comfortable, linens for bed and bath of good quality and well maintained. There are sufficient power outlets for your needs, and the bathroom is a nice size with a separate sink / dressing / closet area (in my King room). Happily the desk chair was also of good quality and comfortable. The refrigerator size was suitable for keeping leftovers, drinks, and the microwave was clean and functioned well. A highlight of the property are the beautiful water features and grounds...lovely for a stroll, or just to peacefully admire after a busy day of traveling, etc from your balcony or patio. There is a very nice pet walk / relief area, a clean, convenient self-pay laundry (though more machines ((there are 2 washers & dryers)) would be helpful). The affiliated Jeremiah's Restaurant on the property is clean, comfortable, friendly, reasonably priced with tasty options and substantial portions to satisfy all palates. The property is very conveniently located to the interstate and Ogden area, with services and attractions nearby. There is plenty of convenient parking. The provided hot breakfast is in a pleasant, well-appointed room with good quality furniture and a variety of hot and cold food and beverage offerings, including plentiful fresh fruit and hot oatmeal. There were always some variety of fresh eggs, breakfast meats and starch each day, along with make-your-own waffles, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffee/tea. There was something for every appetite. The breakfast period sees the foods / beverages constantly stocked by a friendly attendant. A real highlight for me before and during my stay was the world-class professionalism and helpfulness of the front desk staff, particularly Rachel, who always make me feel appreciated and welcome. This hotel is definitely a cut above.

The rooms are very nice. I asked for a garden view. The garden area is beautiful. There's a pond with big gold fish and a little waterfall. There's an indoor pool and hot tub and a nice little gym. The breakfast was good. I had a wonderful time staying here.

It's a warm and rustic appearing motel. The check in staff were exceptionally friendly. There is a warm roaring fire when you check in and seats by it that are inviting.

Their gift shop is unexpectedly nice and affordable. They even had Utah postcards!

Breakfast was fantastic and served in an adjacent building with plenty of space, and options to eat.

My only compliant was the walls aren't well insulated here. So I could easily hear our neighbors talking. Bring your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. But the value and its location to most destinations North of SLC, Utah make it a great place to stay.

Just off the highway. Professional check-in. Gave us a room close to a grassy area since we were traveling with our fur-babies. The grounds of this property were phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful. Walk around as long as you like. It's well lit and easy walking to stretch out after the days travel.
The restaurant in the same parking lot was having some struggles the evening we were there. It was our first visit there, so I'm not going to be critical. We ate! The room was great, comfy, and quiet. LOVE the real wood furniture. Our continental breakfast was absolutely wonderful. If we are ever in this area again, we will drive an extra hour to revisit this hotel.

What a fantastic hidden gem! Amazing landscaping, koi pound, walkways and fireplaces. They have 2 dog parks and the rooms are great. I was so pleasantly surprised.

We love this BW. Even continental breakfast was decent. Location is awesome, great big dog runs and run walking area with ponds. Rooms clean. Beautiful hotel and a credit to BW brand. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Our 2nd stay at this property

I’m staying for a second time. My first trip was 11 nights and this one will also be 11 nights, so I feel like I’m somewhat of an expert on this property now. Haha!

The rooms a spacious. The bed is a little on the firm side for me, but still very comfortable. Both of my rooms have been very clean. I did clean out the air conditioner filter because it was running a bit loud. Resolved the issue right away. The breakfast is decent with lots of options. The highlight of the whole property are the walking paths around the ponds. It is so beautiful. Love it here. I will be coming back for another work trip in November and plan on staying again.

Everything was great. I especially want to point out and thank the office manager. She was so incredibly kind and helpful. I was having an awful time at this point in my life and she was just so kind. Thank you.

We stay here every time we come to North Ogden! We love the beautiful views, their garden area with walking path, waterfall, & ponds, the many cozy seating spaces both indoor & outdoor throughout the property, great hot breakfast that is well serviced, Jeremiah's restaurant in the same parking lot, the very clean & spacious rooms w/fridges & microwaves (we stay in the newer bldg), nice pool/hot tub and workout room, and the wonderful manager and staff that do such a great job! Can't say enough good things about this hotel! This hotel has a charm and comfort that isn't truly reflected in the website and pictures. Must experience for yourself!

Tara and Shae were both wonderful at the front desk. Our bed was comfortable and clean.

Enjoyed my stay. King room was very clean and spacious. Nice, peaceful, and quiet location. The best Best Western I’ve stayed at so far.

We loved this place. The dog park was great! The rooms were great, the breakfast was great! I’d stay here again. The service was very nice. We only stayed one night but I’d stay again. The walking path around was wonderful. It was a perfect way to end a long day on the road.

If I could I would rate this property and the staff a 6 out of 5. From check in where the front desk clerk was incredibly courteous to the very clean pet friendly main floor room this was a great experience.

We travel with 2 small dogs and this hotel truly caters to guests with dogs. Behind the hotel they have two large fenced and extremely clean dog parks, one for big dogs and one for little. There are 2 benches, a table and chairs and a doggy drinking fountain plus poop supplies in each area as well as well groomed grass.

I mentioned the room was clean but also need to mention the comfortable bed and EXCELLENT shower.

Lastly they had the most extensive FREE hot and cold buffet breakfast we have ever encountered with huge selection.

We will absolutely stay here again and again!
