I recently stayed at the Hampton for a stitching conference. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. There was always hot water for showers. The breakfast was free, and I was very impressed by spread and variety of items. In honesty, we had an issue with our room's air conditioner, but the hotel management went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. Mikaela, in particular, was very empathetic to our situation and actively worked to make our room more comfortable, despite the lack of air conditioning. The parking situation was a bit difficult to understand at first, but once we knew where to park in the downtown area, it was fine. The location is wonderful and very close to many great food options. The hotel is connected to the conference center, which was so convenient during our stay. The hotel is historic and very beautiful and reminded me of boutique hotels I've stayed at in large cities.

I saw some individuals gave negative reviews. I have to saw we loved this place. This is a historic place, so you will see that charm everywhere. The staff were fantastic to us. The rooms were great, updated with keeping some of that historic charm. Breakfast was perfect. The location was perfectly located downtown with ease to get to everywhere we needed.
In short we look forward to staying here next time we are in Ogden.

The best place to stay in Ogden. Best location, nice breakfast, and if you are lucky enough to get a corner room like me the view of downtown and the surrounding hills is pretty expansive. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I thought this place was great, we went skiing at Snowbasin and then went to the Banff film festival at the Egyptian Theatre next door. What I really liked about this place was the location near a wide variety of interesting and reasonably play priced restaurants.

Really nice and convenient INN near the slopes, breakfast is amazing and they change daily as well. Special shoutout to Ashlie, she is extremely helpful and hospitable. Highly recommend!

These poor employees had to put up with me for a week. My family can’t even handle that. That said, they were awesome. Sure the parking is a bit odd and there’s no pool but that wasn’t a big deal. I’ve traveled my entire life and this was the most hospitable operation I’ve ever been in They catered to my every request. There were plenty of them.

I return again next July and I’m already counting the days

I travel for work, so I have stayed in many hotels in the past 2 years. The hotel staff in Ogden seems to be concerned with you having a pleasant stay. Prior to arrival, I received a text advising me the exact location of the hotel and available parking, from Brandon. Check-in was easy. I asked for a quiet room, and was given room 701. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the heat worked great (it was 11 degrees outside when I arrived in Ogden), very warm/hot water in the shower. The only negative was that there was not a microwave in my room. Maria texted and asked me how my stay was going so far. I replied that all was well, except I needed a microwave. She immediately had one delivered to my room. (Several hotels that I have stayed in, no longer have a microwave in every room. There is usually one in the lobby or breakfast area). Breakfast was very good, although I would like a stronger coffee option to be available. I stayed 4 nights and slept well. If/when I am working in Ogden again, I will definitely stay at this friendly Hampton. Thanks!

This experience was genuinely remarkable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make our family feel comfortable and at home.

Sydney, the Front Desk Clerk, was particularly welcoming. Not only did she assist us promptly and efficiently, but she also took a personal interest in making sure we had everything we needed. In a thoughtful gesture, she found a piece of fruit for our kids when they were craving a snack. Sydney’s directions to the offsite parking lot were impressively clear and easy to understand, which greatly helped me with the unusual instructions.

First, our view was great! But upon settling into our room, we encountered an issue with the bathtub - the diverter was stuck in the shower position. We were particularly disappointed as we had chosen this hotel because it offered a bathtub, something our little boys look forward to while on trips, as we only have access to a shower normally.

However, this challenge was swiftly addressed by Rachel, the night manager. Instead of telling us we were out of luck due to the full occupancy and delayed maintenance, Rachel took it upon herself to fix the issue. She managed to get the necessary parts and repaired the diverter herself - a testament to her dedication and ability to go above and beyond for her guests. Noticing we had only two towels in the room, she promptly fixed that issue as well.

It's not every day you encounter such extraordinary commitment to service, and it made a lasting impression on us. Both Sydney and Rachel have a natural knack for hospitality, demonstrating professionalism and genuine care for their guests.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hampton Inn & Suites Ogden to anyone visiting the area. You can expect clean rooms, excellent amenities, delicious breakfast, and a team of staff who truly care about your stay.

*UPDATE* 7/28/2023
When booking, book directly through Hampton Inn rather than using Expedia. There was an issue with a third-party processor that failed to send a temporary credit card to Hampton as per their SOP so I was charged twice. Rachel from Hampton worked diligently to resolve this issue and followed up with me. The staff here really do care about their patrons and work hard to prove it.

Everything was great. Very comfortable, good service, wonderful location. We were on the 8th floor and the view was beautiful. If there was any street noise, we couldn't hear it up there.

Great location and friendly staff. April at the front desk and David with maintenance were particularly helpful during my business trip. The self parking situation wasn't ideal and took some figuring out but fortunately it is complimentary. Overall I had a great stay.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The hotel is in a great downtown location and we were very impressed with how it was decorated; we felt like we were in a high-end hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though our room was located over a busy street, it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the way the bathroom was designed. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The best thing about this hotel, for us, was the parking. Up the block from the hotel, there is an outdoor large lot where you can park RVs. After hauling one across the country, to be able to safely park and then enjoy the hotel was a blessing. Room was good. Breakfast was tasty - get the cinnamon waffles. If you are hauling anything, this is the best place to stay outside of Salt Lake City.

This place is awesome. I stayed in 509, by the elevator and never knew the elevator was making a sound. Super quiet rooms, clean, awesome city view. Breakfast was perfect. I made a mess on accident and the staff was immediately cleaning up after my clumsy self. Wish I could have a tour of the building. The architecture is delightful to look at and enjoy.

I was SO impressed by this beautiful historic hotel! It had the amenities of a Hampton Inn with the character of an old (and likely haunted) building! The marble staircases and cold air conditioning definitely made up for the sketchy parking lot, but I wish breakfast was served later than 9am. I also really enjoyed that they had a pamphlet about the history of the hotel at the front desk!

The rooms are nice. The bed we slept in was good. The only minor thing was they brought back the waffle mix 30 minutes before the end of breakfast and never came out with any more. There might have been a reason I didn't know of but we never saw the breakfast attendant after she left with the mix to ask.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Bed was so comfortable and room was nice. There's no real continental breakfast during covid though. Just some muffins, bagels and juice. Parking is around backside of building. You have to walk outside back to front of building after parking car. But hey it's downtown.

I love this hotel. It is tucked inside a corner building on 24th and Washington Blvd in Ogden Utah. It’s a older gem, but it’s a very clean hotel and the rooms are quaint and comfortable. The rooms have a nice big bathroom and ours has a really large tub. We stayed there in December 2021, to go to Christmas Village to see Santa Clause and my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loved it so much and she was delighted to go to the free breakfast provided by The hotel. I highly recommend if you’re visiting Ogden that you’ll give The Hampton Inn Hotel a try.

Just comment on front desk kindness. I have mild brain damage. When I checked in after a long day drive from Reno there was a lot going on in the lobby- happy kids, a concerned woman checking out, movement noise. The kind woman working checkin and training a new front desk clerk was so calm and patient with me an him. Oh yeah and the hotel is pretty great too:)! Old vibe spruced up.
