What a fabulous place to stay! Very accommodating. Wonderful and friendly staff. Walking distance to downtown Flagstaff. Clean with comfy beds and thoughtful decor. Lobby was a great place to meet other lodgers. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a quick overnight in flagstaff a couple weeks ago. Great little place that had a rustic feel. Very cozy rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Chose to stay here because of the location and proximity to everything around it. Rooms are exactly as described. For the price point it was fantastic. Wish I had taken pictures to post.

Great stay for those who enjoy older motels (with all of their historic charms and quirks). There's a very nice common area and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants/shops. Easy parking. Would stay again.

Always very friendly and helpful! We have been staying here 3 times a summer for years to host a volleyball tournament in Flagstaff. I cannot say enough good things about the care and effort the owners give to make our stay a wonderful experience!

Great stay. Staff were very friendly. They have a nice little kitchen I was able to use to cook a steak in. Room was comfortable and pleasant.

My only suggestion would be to get a cheap stainless steel frying pan for common use in the kitchen, as the Teflon coated pans available were all scratched up and thus leeching into cooked food.

Otherwise I loved it and it was awesome having a little kitchen!

This is the most charming place to stay in Flagstaff! It’s in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of all of the best restaurants and breweries. We were planning to stay one night but needed to unexpectedly stay a second night since our daughter was feeling sick with jet lag. The motel staff were super accommodating and communicative, cleaned the second room we stayed in early, and really made us feel welcome. Both rooms we stayed in had king beds and were really funky in a great way - the hotel has been renovated to maintain its Route 66 character but so that it can now accommodate modern guests. Both rooms had really unique styles but were immaculately maintained, had modern and clean memory foam mattresses and bedding, and were super comfortable. Between the service and accommodations, I’ll never stay anywhere else in Flagstaff!

Great location within the downtown area. Small, cozy rooms that are perfect for a night or two while you're exploring the area.

Spent a night at this nice little hotel smack dab in the middle of a beautiful and comfortable city of Flagstaff. Most restaurants and bars are walking distance, and the atmosphere is amazing and quite relaxing. The owner was very nice and didnt hesitate to give recomendations for where to go to have fun and grab something good to eat. Rooms don't have an ac, which in the summer can be a little on the hotter side. It's still a nice and comfortable place that I'd recommend to anyone planning to visit the beautiful town of flagstaff. Plan to visit again in the winter!

The motel is in Flagstaff downtown and is at a great location. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only suggestion would be to have more lighting in the bathroom.

Great hotel within easy walking distance from the Amtrak station. Older but very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as it should. The wooden floors were a bit worn but clean and lended to the atmosphere of the room. Very reasonable prices. Will be staying there again, and have advised some of our friends to stay as well.

This location is only 1 block from the Amtrak station and right in the heart of Flagstaff for the restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. Upon arrival checking is was super swift and simple, had my keys in my hand within minutes.
I have stayed here before several times and always enjoy the friendly nature of the staff and the eye contact is super.
Super friendly staff and the property is very welcoming, my room was an economy and perfect for a single person or a small couple. The building is historic so it is not like the generic hotel/motels out there, this place has character/charisma. Love the setup the parking is pretty simple, the outside patio is pretty sweet, the common area is nicely appointed and the decor is classic with this historical location.
Thank you for making my stay a great one, again.
The shower will be tight for the larger people , I am 6ft 6 around 250 myself and had no problems using it. The bathroom is nicely appointed with the standard amenities. Kudos to the owners for upgrading Motel DeBeau, place looks fabulous. I will be back for sure and i recommend this property to anyone.

Disclaimer: if you are a princess (like me, admittedly) this is not the Four Seasons. This is a wonderful, historic motel in a phenomenal location- but it is not luxury. I would recommend maybe 2 or 3 nights. We stayed for longer as it was a visit to family in town. Our room was tiny- but it worked for us. A double bed, a desk, a bench for my suitcase, and a bathroom with corner shower. The basics. Note: as mentioned on their site, there is no TV in the double bed room we had. I believe the bigger rooms have them... No problem, though, as I had my laptop and the motel provides WiFi. We were there during the big snow (earlier this month - Jan. 2023) and the staff was quick to get the parking lot and sidewalks clear. They are a great group of people- nice, accommodating, thoughtful. Since the motel is right by downtown, the snow was a non-issue. We could walk everywhere: breweries, dinner, wandering around the shops. The motel's parking is an off-street lot and has enough spots for everyone. I was able to park right outside my door, which was great. The provided breakfast was easy to grab and go. As a female traveling alone with my young son, safety is always a concern. I did bring my travel lock- and used it- but the door itself was just fine. It automatically locked and there was an extra security latch. The room was warm/cozy during the snowstorm and there was also ceiling fan, if needed. Small fridge provided- not too much room if you are staying a long time- but enough space for leftovers and some drinks. The lobby had some fun decor and there was a full kitchen available to the guests. I think they allow you to use the laundry if needed? Wish the weather was nicer, as they have a cute patio with firepit. Definitely recommend and would stay there again - especially because the price is phenomenal. THANKS FOR THE HOSPITALITY!

I am on a solo leisure trip on Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. I've wanted to stay here for some time, and was able to get a reservation this year. This is a historic roadside hotel, so the rooms are a bit modest.

Very cute motel! Perfect for a night's stay, Only bad thing is pretty close to the train so is a bit noisy at night, But so close to restaurants and shops it's worth it,

This motel was exactly what we needed after arriving late to town on the train. Just a block from the train station. After hours check-in process was a breeze. Room was nice and clean and everything was great. Breakfast was included with several options like muffins, danish, oatmeal, several juices. Highly recommend for your stay in Flagstaff!

This is our fourth time staying at Motel DuBeau! It is our favorite and only place we stay when we come up from Phoenix. The staff is amazing, rooms are comfortable and always clean. The location is fantastic, walking distance to downtown and many other places.

Room was clean.

Staff were polite.

Modest but filling continental breakfast (oatmeal, yogurt, V8, muffins). Coffee was good.

Great price ($85 for small room). Room came with a small desk and queen bed, which is an ideal size for one person.

Great location in downtown Flagstaff. Fun bars and restaurants are in walking distance.

The lobby is a pleasant place to hang out in the morning while eating breakfast. The room is decorated with retro memorabilia fitting for Route 66.

I come to Flagstaff at least twice per month. Motel DuBeau will likely be my go-to motel.

As long as you book this motel knowing that its historic and small you will understand why i gave 5 star on everything.

The room is well appointed and we had a larger room but it was a really nice homage to what would have been around on the old RTE66. we had a good time albeit short.

Motel de Beau is a treasure! I will pick staying here over any hotel chain. Despite being a small room, the rooms have so much history and this is such an ideal location. The staff is SO kind. Great breakfast options: coffee which is served all day, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, juice. The kitchen has a fridge for all to use, there is a gas stove, microwave, sink, table. The room comes with a mini fridge, window fan, ceiling fan and heater. We visited in June and were mostly only in the room to relax and sleep from late afternoon to early morning but the room was cool enough with both fans on. The bed was SO comfortable as well as the pillows and sheets. They are so soft and amazing. Great parking within the hotel area. There was one night were we heard banging on a door which was startling but everything seemed to be okay the next morning. This motel room was also cleaner than most hotel chains I have been to. The location is perfect as it is a five minute walk to downtown Flagstaff. So many great shops and restaurants nearby. I miss this place and I can’t wait to return.
