We absolutely love this restaurant! The staff always goes above and beyond while serving you and the food is AMAZING! We always try a variation of different rolls whenever we come here, we love them all but my favorite is the Crab Rangoon Roll- is has so much flavor. The fried rice is also extremely delicious. You can’t go wrong here- great food and great service!

I came on Sunday during the afternoon and the atmosphere is chill and not as packed. The service was great they checked on me and refilled my water without asking as well and take my empty plates away when i finished, they gave me my food in a timely manner (: The food was GREAT especially the deep fried octopus (: I enjoyed my steak and chicken hibachi with the yum yum sauce and their yum yum sauce is AMAZING. I will be back (: Btw the music is also great, not a bad track was played (:

My daughter and I went here and the food was amazing. The spicy seafood ramen was so good, the broth was out of this world and the presentation of the dish was very appealing. I got the sashimi platter which was a good portion and very fresh. Gyoza was also very delicious.

The waistress was sooooo nice!! She was very surprised my daughter loved spicy food so much.

Had a fantastic experience at Sakura Blue Japanese Restaurant. The sushi was delicious and authentic, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend for a genuine taste of Japan!

Everything was great today! I came in with a friend for the one cent hot sake. I had never tried before, it was pretty good. For food we ordered the Bibimbap, Miso ramen, the International (sushi), the Crunch munch (sushi) and the California roll (sushi). The International roll came was literally on FIRE! All of the sushi tasted great, the house salad and ginger dressing was very tasty, same with the Miso soup.

Our server was very friendly. She gladly brought us multiple sake bottles at our request. We will come back for sure.

Sakura blue is always such a nice dinner. As vegan, we ordered an avocado roll, vegetable roll, sweet potato roll and tofu roll with a ginger salad and as always, it was very fresh and delicious. Sarah is the absolute best, she always make sure you have enough ginger and Wasabi and checks in on your drinks and to ask if you're happy with you're food, on top of her consistently excellent service, she is such a sweetheart. I'd highly recommend checking out Sakura if you've never been, it's never disappointed.

Food and service was great! The server was nice, gave me time to order with no rush, and she was super polite! The Hot Sake is a must as well as a side order of a miso soup and house salad which the dressing was very good! I only ordered a Yummy Crunch Roll which was delicious! One day I’ll be sure to give their hibachi or bento box a go!

The food and vibe of this restaurant are always on point. The staff is great and the prices really aren’t bad either. One of my favorite decently priced date night restaurants

Great place for fresh sushi and ice tea.

The fatty salmon is absolutely to die for. I literally make the trip out from Lexington once a month because I crave it so much. The location is ver convenient and the fish is always fresh. I love the variety on their menu and I like that they have a pencil in menu to make ordering easy. Staff is friendly. Only problem is we always over order! We’ll be back.

An excellent option for sushi in the city, and perhaps the best in the St Matthews area! Tremendous selection of rolls and individual sushi/sashimi options -- and now they seem to have ramen as well, which I'm eager to try. Delicious and pleasantly priced. Will definitely be back.

Nigiri lovers—this is your spot. The rice perfect. Chef—amazing. Sit at the bar. They brush the soy sauce as well as a citrus type juice/topping (depending on the fish). They ask if you want fresh wasabi paste that they do a little baby dollop on the fish(they ask your preference—put it on) OMG good. The wasabi paste is a different flavor profile than what you are expecting if you have experienced wasabi at other sushi joints. The salmon belly is to die for. Tamago is perfect—not too sweet or bite-y. Easily the best nigiri I’ve had in Louisville. My fiancé and I have tried a lot of different sushi places around the metro and this really hit it out of the park. The staff members are extremely attentive — one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in terms of taste and quality of every piece.

The service was great, everyone working was so nice although it was fairly busy, they didn't miss a beat. The food came out pretty quick.
The menu pricing was very reasonable and the food was amazing!
They also had a few items on the menu that aren't found in alot of similar restarants, I'm excited to go back and try more.

Best sushi I’ve ever had. Will go back for sure. Very good staff too. I had the Caterpillar Roll and the Jack Roll. Both were awesome. I liked the Caterpillar better. After this one I ordered a 2nd dish. 5 ⭐ 🍣!

Chef Stephan makes this little sushi restaurant have big flavors. Best salmon jaw I ever had! and the sushi was perfect. Seared Albacore and Japanese Scallop and sashimi salad. All excellent!

I've been wanting to try takoyaki for a while and they did not disappoint. They were so delicious and the tako karaage was to die for!

The service is incredible and the food is somehow even better. My mom has come here for years and they treat her like a superstar. She literally says it feels like home. Truly can't recommend enough.

We always order the TK sushi roll, yakisoba is the tastiest I've had, excellent staff, relaxing environment, great for lunch and dinner.

Best sushi in town by far! Also very attentive servers! Nice ambiance and also great chicken yakisoba.
