Passtime Fish House

Literally the best fish sandwich I’ve EVER eaten! Better than Mike Linnings ever thought about being! Trying to find it down a random gravel road was a little weird, but as soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be good! Hole in the wall type, dive bar feel! Laid back and DELICIOUS! Even the coleslaw and house-made tartar sauce was AMAZING!

Out of the way place with old time dive feel. Great fish and fries. Not my kinda slaw with vinegar base. Very cold beer with large selection. Would highly recommend. Large crowd already at 5pm on a Friday. Only caution would be the fish breading has pepper in it and I know some people just don’t like pepper.

Absolutely darling! I love it here, the food was very tasty, and the staff was very friendly. A very fun place to hang out!!

If you don't pay attention you may miss the sign to the parking lot and restaurant so drive carefully.

We have there 6 or 7 times, it has the best fish around Louisville. It is always hot, great portions. Highly recommend it for a really good meal.

Passtime Fish House is the Best. We frequent Passtime and have never been disappointed. It’s easy to call in your in your order and they are very accurate as far as pick up time. The fish has great taste, not overly seasoned so you can actually taste the fish. My favorite-fish bites. The portion size is great. You will enjoy it!!!

When I tell you this was my first time eating here. And it did not disappoint when I say better than Mike linings I mean it. Catfish seasoned just right, Tatar sauce taste like it’s home made. 10/10

From the GREAT STATE of TEXAS here and actually stumbled upon this place and what a gem!! The shrimp was huge and fresh as the oysters also. One cat server and the place was packed and he did a great JOB!!!👍👍

Great fish in an unusual bar. A definite blast from the past. Don't be put off by the outward appearance great fish is waiting inside.

Good food at good prices served hot. Don’t judge it by the way it looks on the outside or the rough road going in. It’s a recurring monthly outing for a group of us. It’s all good food, but we highly recommend the Fish Bites and the Onion Straws. Inside & outside seating. Cash only.

I'm not even sure how I've been deprived of this gem for my whole life. My first time experience was AMAZING. I'm not big on sports, but the food made it all worth it. It was a slow Sunday evening but I enjoyed the food so much. Definitely going back as often as I can. I got the Platter so I could try the fish, shrimp and oysters. I cannot stress enough how delectable EVERYTHING was and generously portioned as you can see.

Try frog legs for the first time they were very good. Buffalo wings good, fish platter good. Front have anything negative to say.

Large portions perfectly seasoned. It's got very old timey feel with pictures and dollars on the Wall. Place does seem busy. It is that time of year. Horseradish sauce that came with the chicken livers was a nice choice.

I absolutely enjoyed the fish dinner . I grew up in Jtown but never went inside the restaurant/club on Locust.
I sure hope it will be open on December 22 and 23.

You wouldn't think the driveway you turn onto & then seeing this place wouldn't be worth it. Our first time we went didn't even go in. Last weekend, we could kick ourselves for not going in the first time! This place has to have the best fish around!! The piece of cod we each ordered was HUGE. The taste was beyond fabulous. Highly recommend this place! We are actually taking friends there this weekend. This was definitely a "don't judge a book by it's cover"!!

Bar food at its best! The cod was one of the best around. Onion straws were very tasty! Shorthanded like many places. Only one woman working the bar, waiting tables, and running orders on my visit.

The fish was hot, fresh, and fantastic. The fish was HUGE! Our server was super busy but friendly and helpful and I'm sorry I didn't get her name. The food is very reasonable. We will be back. They only take cash but there is an ATM if you forget:)
