I cannot explain how picky of a hair person I am. I have to have the right color, dimension, the right cut the right style, etc. and I found all of these things at this salon! I have been to a plethora of salons (all over the country) of which I’ve paid a pretty penny.. however, my hair has never turned out as good as it does when I leave here! I absolutely love everything about my hair. On top the great results of my hair. The environment in the salon is amazing. Danielle does an amazing job mentoring and training her soon to be stylists. It’s like a small family. They know how to have fun as well as respectful but also know how to be professional. You can tell the younger girls are in great hands and are going to do amazing work from the job shadowing with Danielle. The salon does the latest trends and I have also seen order fashions as well. I’ve seen men, women, elderly kids etc.. walking in and out of the salon during my visits looking fabulous! I definitely recommend the salon!! I always looking forward to going back

Haley was absolutely wonderful she was so sweet and I didn't really know what I wanted but she talked me through it and always took a little at a time off to make sure I was comfortable with it. All the ladies were so sweet and I'm obsessed with my hair!!! 💕

Sarah did a great job on my sons hair. She did a perm on top and cut. It looks awesome and he is very happy. This salon got us in last minute before his first dance. Great customer service. Happy all around. Would recommend.

I just spent the past several hours with an amazing stylist named Sarah. She was super sweet and very attentive. She did EXACTLY what I wanted and it turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. My hair has never looked or felt better and I LOVE IT!! This was more than a hair cut/color, it was an EXPERIENCE!Thanks again Sarah, you do beautiful, quality work and you will be seeing me again soon 😊
P.S. I bring my son to same salon too and Rayne is wonderful with him so I recommend this salon to EVERYONE

So so happy with my experience here!! Sarah was my hairdresser and she did a fantastic job. I had a specific look in mind and she delivered even better than I imagined - I'm absolutely in love with my new haircut! This was my first haircut in around 2 years so I was a little nervous about coming in, but Sarah was so kind and helpful, so that made my experience much better! I will absolutely be back for another haircut from her in the future!

I am visiting from out of town and was looking for a salon to get my hair cut. I followed online reviews and found Alter'd Culture. Sarah's name came up a few times in the good reviews and she had availability so I booked an appointment with her. All of the girls were super friendly upon entering the salon. Sarah asked all of the right questions before starting the service. I was looking to have quite a bit of hair cut off into an angled bob style. Sarah delivered, and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving the chair. All in all great experience and if we are in town again I know where I will be going!

Abba did an excellent job on my hair. She gave me back my signature purple highlights and her scalp
Massages are the best! The atmosphere was great as well. The salon was easy to find. Street parking was readily available.

I came to this salon at the recommendation of my daughter with no idea what I wanted done, just knowing that I wanted something totally different.
Danielle made several suggestions, and I told her to do whatever she thought would look good. I am ecstatic with the end result!

This is the best color job I have ever had in my life! Cut is amazing too. Jazzmyne was very nice and professional. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I have been seeing Erika ever since I moved to Louisville a few years ago and she never disappoints! Her scalp massages and shampoos are heavenly and she always makes sure I’m happy with my cut! I look forward to our hair appointments every few months, and she makes you feel very comfortable, highly recommend!

This group of wonderful ladies are by far the best stylist around. They always make me feel welcomed. Kendall has cut and colored my hair several times over this past year and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a change. My hair is overwhelming to many stylist. It is long, thick, and wavy and many get lost and I have always finished out my blowout Bc they get behind. But rest assured that Kendall will never make you feel that way. Every time she has impressed me with my turnout. ❤

Sarah did a great job! She did a color correct on 2 years of professional dark red to blonde. I left with a better lift than expected and way less damage. I’m looking forward to round 2!

I got my haircut at a different salon, and they had completely messed up my layers to the point I was in tears. Luckily Alter’d Culture salon got me in last minute to help blend it out as best as they could from previous cut. I was very pleased with the results and made me feel so much better about myself. I will be going back!!

Taylor is great at what she does! She listens to what you want while offering her creative, professional ideas. She is so fun to chat with and is the sweetest person you’ll meet. Highly recommend!!

Great salon. Danielle is very talented, especially at thinning out my thick hair. The salon is lovely and the rest of the staff are sweet and professional.

Sarah was so great in navigating my crazy curly hair with its different textures. She cut it such that it maximizes my curl pattern in a beautiful way. I love it!

Rayne did my hair, she was funny and welcoming! She brought exactly what I was envisioning to life. The layers are beautiful. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely would recommend for cut and style.
