Waggener High School

Great school. I have one graduate, and one sophomore there now. He's on honor roll and is 1st chair trombone at school, in All County and in All Star band. I've been up to the school at least twice a week for 2 years, and I NEVER see anyone out of hand or even close to it. Every single kid I've ever interacted with there treats me with kindness, manners and a willingness to help me navigate through the school. I don't even see it when they don't see me...like when they're at lunch or leaving for the day. And it shows in my son's friends and his/their mannerisms too. SOMEONE at that school is teaching those kids dignity and class lol. I'm sure the faculty has a lot to do with that because of their fantastic principal -
Dr Sarah Hitchings. She's been there at least 4 years, and it REALLY shows. If you have a child getting ready to go to high school, I highly recommend setting up a meeting/tour to talk with her and you'll see for yourself what I'm talking about. ;) 💕👋

I went to the school for 4 years, I loved it yea every school has flaws but the staff was really there to make sure I was ready for college... I wouldn't of choose to go to any other high school!!

The school was more than just school , I enjoyed all 4years there

i had a really nice well typed review for this, but people kept on picking on me because i wrote it.

it's a good school, 80% of the teachers are warm and friendly and really care, and then there's the 20% that are just in it for the pay

other than that, it's good. it's gotten better. like i said, it's a good school. just don't write well thought out reviews because then people will pick on you because they were searching up the number to call the school in order to fake a leave and then find you wrote a review and then pick on you for it.

The best school ever i should know I am the Reverend Jeremiah and the one about this well she was the most beautiful girl in that in that school her name is Anothy Fedricka the beautiful girl ever so god bless see ya in August

I went to this school for Eight months and met some awesome people. I skipped school almost everyday, I would walk in one way and walk out another. Overall it was a fun experience. Met some friends that i still talk to after i moved.

If you can learn to ignore the bad behavior it's not so bad, at least a majority of the teachers care. I have enjoyed most of my freshman year and overall I think it's a good experience.

This isn't the best high school. Often, the counselors and teachers do not care for the students.
