Dave and his brother are always very kind. I had a lot of work for them to do on my 4runner, and they got it all done during my two days off from work, and they had to order parts. This is my go-to shop for any auto repair.

Very helpful and thorough! Matched and replaced passenger mirror that had been broken. Also removed nail and plugged my tire on driver side. Very fast, informative and friendly. Highly recommend. Will be doing business here in the future.

I had my 2003 Volkswagen Beetle serviced here this week and had a great experience. I worked closely with Daniel from start to finish. He scheduled my car appointment quickly, and had it fixed up in a few days. His findings were honest and his prices fair. I will continue to use East End Import Services as my mechanic for any future issues. One thing to note, they are so amazing they're swamped, so schedule quickly.
- I included a pic of the car he worked on for me. It was tough for me to find a great, knowledgeable mechanic to work on an old VW! I'm so grateful for the team here.

The owner of this place is incredible! He is very knowledgeable in his field and crafted with his work. From an outside perspective, the man demonstrated a lot of humility and patience when providing customer service. He was very thorough in explaining how to take care of the vehicle after repairs have been made to improve longevity. Lastly, all the workers from this establishment were very respectful and welcoming as they encouraged me to come back for any further assistance. Highly Recommend!

After a week of fighting with State Farm and Joe Hudson’s (formerly St Matthews Import) over cosmetic damage to my car from rolling into a fence (I know, I know)...I realized I could take my car to the place where I had all my mechanicals done, because they’re also a body shop! East End went to bat for me with the insurance company and did a GREAT job in half the time Hudson’s was going to do it. I love these men. PLEASE give them as much business as you can and refer to your friends!

I won't trust anyone else with my car. Really fair. Honest.

Update: Still 5 stars years later. Daniel is the only person I will trust with my car. Thanks Daniel for being utterly relentless with solving my fuel intake problem!

They replaced the alternator in my car remarkably quickly, compared to my now previous mechanic, who wanted to charge $375 more, for the same work and wouldn’t have gotten to my car for three days. I’m glad I stumbled upon them.They are nice, genuine and reasonable. My new mechanic of choice.

My car broke down on a family trip from Ohio to Florida on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm. How lucky was I to get the car to East End Auto Service.
They stayed open past closing time and found the problem. It could not be fixed to continue on. They went out of their way and called a car rental place for me. They gave me a fair price to fix the car. Being from out of state, and knowing I would not be a returning customer, A less honest shop could have really screwed me over. These guys were the best. Skilled, honest, helpful. Go there if you live anywhere near.

East End Import Services takes care of your car! I’d seen oil deposits left by my car and taken it to two repair shops, one from a dealership out of state where I often go and another in town - both honest and both had done good.work before. Each called it a leak in the main seal and estimated the repairs to $800 to $1200. A neighbor passed on a recommendation to East End from one of his University students. There, Mike took more time and made a simpler diagnosis - an oil filter, from the dealership, had been improperly installed and the motion of the car pushed the oil back to the mail seal area, where it had dropped to the drive. Cost of the repair, time and filter - $70. Bottom line: they were just more careful. East End also quickly diagnosed an engine problem in a quick drive around the block - good work, of course, at a fair price. I’d trust Brian, Dave, and Mike with my car any day, and Idean spent time in finding a very good replacement part for the interior. I know I can take my car there with total confidence - drop it off, leave it, and forget it. It’s in good hands.

Today I had a nail in my tire and no other repair shops near me were open. I called them and they got me in right away. It turned out that the nail was short and hadn't punctured my tire, but they took the time to check my air pressure in each tire. Everyone at the shop was very kind and they didn't charge me for looking at the tire. This was my first experience here and I will certainly be taking my car back there in the future. I highly recommend them.

My battery died in the pouring down rain yesterday and no AAA. Thought it might be related to a repair so after I got a ride home borrowed a car (no jumper cables in ride car) and went to East End to see if possibly the repair I had earlier might have affected the battery. I spoke to Idean and he immediately said "come on, let's go jump your battery and see what's going on." We drove to my car, jumped the battery and drove back to the shop to test it. Didn't need testing, it died again. He called to have a battery delivered and my car was good to go in 30 minutes!

The customer service and quality of work provided at East End is beyond compare! They geniunely care about their customers and the work they do. This is the 2nd time I've used them and will never go anywhere else!

There are no words to describe the incredible experience that I had with East End. I was traveling through Louisville when my car started sounding terrible and barely accelerating. At 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, I called and asked if they would look at it for me. They did not hesitate even though it was so late in the day on a weekend and I was still 30 miles out. The issue couldn’t be immediately diagnosed or fixed, so they helped me find a nearby hotel and even gave me a ride to it. Monday morning, they had to deliver the news that the repair would be very expensive, and talked me through my options, helping me to make an informed decision. I decided not to fix the car but did not know how to go about junking it. They helped with that, too, advising me to call local salvage yards, etc. Ultimately, they chose to buy the car from me, which made the process even easier. They referred me to a rental car company that was nearby, came back to the hotel to pick me up and take me to get the rental. When I got back to the shop to clean out my car, I could not have felt more welcomed and it was obvious that they cared. They helped me empty out the car and even did a second sweep for me to make sure I didn’t miss anything. When I left, I felt like I was saying goodbye to family.

I tend to shy away from car repair shops, because it is one of the few times that I feel I’m seen as a woman who can be taken advantage of. I never felt that way at East End, from the first phone call to the moment that I drove away and beyond as we sorted out signing the title over and getting it to them. It was clear that they were being open, honest and trustworthy and never once saw me as a victim who could be swindled. They treated me with respect and it is clear that they truly value their customers and take pride in their business. I wish they weren’t so far away, because I want to take my new car to them for all of its maintenance and repair needs.

Thank you Idean, “Dad” and everyone at East End (I feel terrible that I don’t know anyone else’s name) for everything that you did and for being so kind and compassionate. I am eternally grateful.

I've taken my car to this place for over ten years. They've done everything from brake work to fixing my exhaust system to replacing the linkage on a Mazda 626 I used to own. Not only are they reasonably quick with repairs, they are honest. They will diagnose a problem and give you an honest answer with solutions at a fair market price. I don't know what I'd do without them. Take your car there.

This body shop was more than helpful in my situation. My tire had popped and I needed a tire back on my car asap.

Impaired driver took out my truck parked on the street. I've been going to East End Import Services for about 4 yrs. Just minor upkeep on my truck. Was sick about my truck. Dave and his crew repaired/painted it and it looks good as new. Overjoyed with the results.These guys are the best. THANKS!
