I have finally found a dentist and the entire staff who truly cares. I’m not a fan of coming to the dentist, but Dr. Shannon and her hygienist are always gentle and do everything to make me comfortable. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a dentist. The hygienist who did my cleaning was so gentle, kind, concerned and knowledgeable. She gave me great recommendations to continue taking care of my teeth

My experience with this office was excellent! Not only did I receive warm reception, but Dr. Shannon listened to my concerns, and answered all the questions that I had. She has a balanced perspective on what is necessary for my oral health, and I look forward to working with her to care for my teeth.

I have been a patient of Scharfenberger Family Dentistry for over 15 years. The experience starts with the front office staff, who remember me and my kids as they have grown. They are very helpful with scheduling for the entire family. I can also get in within a reasonable time for emergencies. The hygienist are all very professional and personable and I love they make over my kid's effort with cleaning their teeth. My daughter is very shy, and they did a wonderful job letting her watch and "assist" with her brother's cleaning to make her more comfortable. Dr. Ed does a great job at explaining what is needed vs. just trying to up sale you like at some of the chain dentist offices that my friends have tried in the past. He likes to make plans on watching problem areas and what to do to improve them instead of just pushing procedures. He also is very kind to the kids who enjoy visiting the office. Overall I highly recommend the office.

The staff was warm and kind. They were proactive with calculating my out-of-pocket cost. The exam was thorough yet gentle. The hygienist did an amazing job explaining what was being done and outlining the plan to treat my dental issues.

My family has been coming here for ages. They have always been very accommodating if we ever need anything. Dr. Ed is very honest and upfront. They never pressure you into unnecessary dental work. I love their integrity and the office staff if very kind. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

I found myself in need of a new dentist. I decided to go with Scharfenberger Family Dentistry because they are close to where I live. I called to make sure they take my insurance and that they do the type of dental work I need. The person who answered the phone was very helpful and answered all my questions patiently and kindly. She was also very clear about their billing practices and what they needed me to do in regards to the Covid virus. I made an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted pleasantly and quickly. It was virtually no time before I was escorted to the exam room. The nurse seated me and asked the preliminary questions. In just a few minutes Dr. Scharfenberger came in and began the exam. I had come about my dentures. He explained how dentures are supposed to fit, something my previous dentist did not explain, and then proceed to let me know how he recommended we proceed. Listening to his explanation I felt very much at ease and confident I would receive good service. After his exam I stepped out to the desk where we scheduled my follow up appointment. The assistant also checked on what the insurance company would pay and gave me a printed cost estimate of the work to be performed. I was very pleased with the whole experience. I was treated promptly, kindly, and professionally. I especially appreciated the clarity given regarding the intended treatment and in what I should expect regarding the cost of the procedure. I was very happy with my visit. I can confidently recommend Scharfenberger Family Practice to anyone who is looking for dental work.

Have been going to Scharfenberger Family Dentistry for about 20 years! Even referred them to my parents. They have been with us through our kids in braces, filings, root canals and most recently Dr Ed took care of my son's need for implants! They look fantastic. They always care and put the patient first. Can't thank them enough for being the best dentist group in town!

Painless dentist. You can laugh and cutup while you talk to them. Repair work was done quickly. I had a quick recovery from my drill and fill. From my observations they had a personality and like their work. My price with Medicare insurance was reasonable.

I get dentist anxiety but not here. Staff was great . I felt totally comfortable

I was more than pleased with the Dentist and Staff. Everyone was extremely courteous and professional. The dentist was very attendance and took care of all my uncomfortable problems and concerns. Great dentist and staff. Carolyn did my cleaning thoroughly and gently. Before the appointment I received confirmation and appointment reminders. After the appointment, I scheduled my next cleaning. It all went smoothly.

This is a good, local practice that won't try to upsell you on cosmetic procedures that make them more money. They're in it to fix teeth, and they do a good job. I've had some bad dental experiences in the past, but Dr. Shannon is really gentle and friendly and their office staff and hygienists are very nice and professional. It's a small office and sometimes they don't have enough front desk staff to get to you right away if you call, but I find it more than worth the very minor wait to get such good service. Highly recommended.

Arrived early, took me in right away and installed a crown. Dr. Scharfenberger is extremely skilled. Crown went on, excellent fit with no adjustments required. This is day2 with the crown and it feels great. Thanks

The nurses and Dr Ed were very polite . professional and I was very pleased with the price of the procedure I'm gonna have done so I am looking forward to it

Staff and Drs are very welcoming here to my whole family. My husband and I have been coming for about 10 years and we just recently added our 3 year old as a patient there.

Carolyn is the best technician. The office staff is professional and courteous. They offer a small town business feel with modern technology.

Great family dentist! Incredible work and they don't try to constantly sell you on extra services that aren't really necessary like many other groups do.
