Excellent excellent. Meat loaf and hot brown. Good portions, all food was hot fresh and had really good flavor. Very nice staff. Everyone seemed to want to be here, working. Great to see. Hard to find a spot where u get it all. They rock second time we been here.

Found the Goose on Facebook during the renovation and preparation to open in their new location. My wife was very excited after watching the progress of the facility! We enjoyed a sampling of the menu and everything was EXCELLENT! Service, Food, atmosphere and especially the desserts!!!

Just a great place to eat or drink. So many reasonable options that make you come back over and over. Friendly staff! Great beer and drink selections. A must try for fun and casual dinner experience! Chris

We visited for dinner after seeing you listed in the Courier Journal as participating in Hot brown week. We were not disappointed! Great food and pretty fast service considering it was prime time for dinner and the place was nearly full. I do have a suggestion tho.... your new location seems sort of sterile. We think the Edison style light bulbs over the booths are great but the stark bright white can lights in the ceiling over the center of the room did not give any sort of cozy feeling. Please consider swapping them for warm white and maybe dim them down a tad. We'll be back. It was a great evening and thanks for listening!

Ordered the take out Christmas dinner special. Pork and ham were very good. You cannot skip the baked apples. Enjoy the garlic mashed potatoes, roasted red potatoes, and Mac n cheese. Warm up the rolls and dinner is served. This is the start of a new tradition!

Love the atmosphere at The Goose & they have the BEST smokey tomato salad dressing. The burgers, salmon, and fried chicken are some of our favorite menu items. We can’t wait to come back again!!

I'm so happy they have some of my favorites from Goose Creek Diner. It's one of the few places that always has salmon croquettes. My husband also enjoyed his shrimp and grits.

By far the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Excellent service! Food is absolutely amazing. Theyre fast and the foods fresh! Also insane value for the price!

We were a bit apprehensive as we really liked the old Goose Creek Diner and were afraid it would have changed too much but our fears were unfounded.
The new building is like a new comfy updated diner.
Our server was wonderful she could tell one of our group needed a bit extra care and she was very helpful with her. She could see what we needed and took care of that. It was a very busy night and we were a table
Of 6 and one of our groups sides were not what they ordered. Our server took care of it and let us munch on the “wrong” ones.
I had the fried chicken which I believe is about the best in town.. fried to perfection and still so moist. And the FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!! They were cooked so the coating stayed put!! You could eat them with your fingers! Fries crunchy.
My husband had the wings and said they were really good and a nice size. He thought they could have been cooked another minute to make the outside a bit crunchy (a little under done)
Can’t wait to come back.

Hands down, best friend chicken in town. We’ve been for lunch and dinner several times, gotten something different, and it’s always so good! Mac and cheese could be better, but overall we love this place.

I had food from there last night. It was good and it was fast. 100% will try these folks again. Their pie game goes hard by the way.

Nice place. Medium prices entree 15-20 sandwiches are less. They have a bar that sells beer at least and maybe more. Tvs for games. Everything was pretty good. I had the carbonara which was quite good and the fish and chips which was generous and good, you could probably share it.

Loving the new place. Food is total comfort. Staff could NOT be more awesome. Very polite, attentive, smiling. Everything about this place is great . Can't go wrong with anything on the menu

This was our first time at the new location and what a wonderful experience it was, especially due to the service we received from Grant W. When we asked him questions about the new menu and foods he explained them in detail. My sister and I had our boys with us, age 10 and 7, and he interacted with them on a level that most servers don't with children. The food we got was wonderful, nicely presented and the portion sizes are above worth the prices. The desert menu isn't quite what it used to be but we did end up with 4 different from the menu to take home to share. Each were delicious 😋. I again would like to commend Grant on his service. He was polite, patient and made our dining experience there feel welcoming and above that not just about a job he was doing.

**Side note:
Grant shared with us he is an engineering student at U of L and was given an opportunity of advancement in his career that day. This young man is a shining example of great work ethics, a glowing personality and what human kindness are all about! Thank you again and best of for your future!

The loaded potato soup was delicious. Hubby also loved the fish and chips (cod) with broccoli and fries. Shout out to Imari our server, she was great!

I got pulled pork BAR B Q, which tasted very good, although the bun was already soaked and falling apart when the food was served. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is acceptable, nothing great, but nothing bad either.

The service and food is always on point.
I suggest Requesting the best server there, Alasia, she is fast, accurate and has the best personality, truly professional server she is

We sat and ate at the bar, because that’s our thing. The bartender, Star, was phenomenal! She was the busiest of all employees and it was clearly evident.

Our food was amazing. What can go wrong with succulent fried chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli? The fried mozzarella appetizer also didn’t disappoint. Spectacular crunch!

You need to try this place. We will be back, sit at Star’s bar and eat great comfort food.

Tyrel was myserver and was excellent. I went to the old location not knowing they moved. The new location looks great! Cool new dishes! A better hot brown than the Brown hotel for sure! Not to mention its not 34 bucks. Proced at a comfortable 13 dollars. Thanks tyrel and to the chef for a wonderful meal!

Have been there twice in the short time they’ve been open! Really clean, fresh look. Love the huge bar.

Many of the same favorites from Goose Creek Diner (their prev location) including the fried green tomatoes w Creek sauce, but some new items I’m looking forward to including 3 types of hot brown.

Great bar selection as well w friendly, attentive service.

Whether for a lunch or evening gathering w friends, will be back soon.
