Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Mall of St. Matthews

Second stay here. It's been a little over two years and was delighted to have another wonderful experience. Service was friendly and it was a perfect stay. I even received a Hilton Honors upgrade and the room was huge.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and is a great option for the area and for those that want to stay just outside of downtown.

Not far from SDF Airport, maybe a 20 minute Lyft ride. Rooms were nice and hotel was quiet. Ryan at the Front Desk and Angie the Bartender were very friendly and helpful. Lyft was easy to aquire for transportation needs.

Updating my review based on a recent stay. Came back here again and while the room was clean the bathtub in this room was very slippery due to a polished smooth surface. There was a grab bar but it’s not much good when your hands are soapy. My wife fell in the tub, thankfully other than a bruise she was ok. I asked one of the staff if there was something we could put down to make it less of a hazard and was told that they could not give us anything due to that being the same as admitting fault and the lawyers told them to say that. It was a rather lame excuse since this was probably not the first time it happened. I told her there were things that could be done on a permanent basis to eliminate the hazard then. When I checked out she did ask if my wife was was ok but no offer of any adjustment or even a free breakfast. For what amounted to about 285.00 a night, some comp would have been in order. I can guarantee that I will never stay here again, I think that the way it was handled was very disappointing. Further the mall is getting pretty lame with a lot of closed stores and the area isn’t worth the hassle.

The location couldn't be any better! It's a nice area with everything you could need within walking distance. Movie theater, mall, grocery stores, craft stores, restaurants...The staff are really friendly and the rooms are always nice and clean. Every time I'm stationed in Louisville for work, this is where I stay!

When you stay at a Hilton Garden hotel you can expect nice, clean, warm, classy service. If you’re staying for a night or longer you can count on the hotel staff to be friendly, helpful and pleasant. Whenever we stay at a Hilton Garden expectation is high and they never let you down. 5 + stars.

Clean and comfortable Hilton Garden Inn. The employees are friendly. For all of the complaints I read online I have to say I was pleased with my stay. The pool was nice. There is a fitness center with dumbbells from 5 to 50 pounds in five pound increments. There is also a Recumbent bike a couple of elliptical steppers and a couple of treadmills. For those complaints regarding the price of breakfast. It was made to order and delicious. I plan on staying here again in the future even though the bathroom in the room lacked adhesive ducks 🦆:).

Very modern establishment. The entrance was very welcoming as well as the big guy at the front desk. Room was spacious and clean. Would stay here again.

Hotel was very clean. The bedding was comfortable. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. I would definitely choose this chain again.

Planned my family reunion stay at this hotel. We booked 23 rooms for three days, and two nights. The rooms were magnificent. The entire space was terrific. The staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast was amazing! All our needs were taken care of. If your not staying downtown the Hilton St. Matthews has the best location. Everything you would want is around the corner.

Hilton Garden Inn is a definite five-star hotel experience! The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The staff is friendly, attentive, and ensures a comfortable stay. The amenities, including a well-equipped gym and delicious breakfast options, add to the overall satisfaction. Highly recommended for a luxurious and enjoyable stay!

One of the best hotels in which I've stayed. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and our room was immaculate. There was not a speck on the floor, no dust on furniture and even the comforters smelled clean. The staff, in both the mornings and evenings, were warm and welcoming. They even changed my parents room last minute to be across from my husband and me to help with our baby, and allowed them to have an early check-in for free. We were also impressed with the breakfast foods, which were somewhat typical, but frequently replaced with hot and fresh items. Even the chefs were friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness, high standards and great customer service all seem to be forgotten these days, but this hotel is truly the exception.

August 2022 Review - Same great place for me. Room was nice, clean and quiet. See you again next year. June 2021 review - Just had another stay here and was concerned their standards may have changed BUT they have not! Great room, clean, nice layout. Hotel is in a convenient location, staff are friendly, even breakfast was great. This is my "go to" hotel when in Louisville. July 2019 review - Great location, new structure so everything is perfect.

Excellent stay. Clean room. Due to booking through the Hilton app, we did not have to check in or check out at the front desk. We would stay again and recommend.

This hotel is absolutely perfect. Our room was immaculate and I loved that the room is not carpeted. Our bed was cozy and clean. Loved that our room had a fridge for all of our cooler items. A great place to rest after a day in the car traveling!

Beautiful place wonderfuly located with access to many restaurants and shops, sparkling clean, smells nice, clean white sheets and towels, the shower stall is immaculate, employees are so friendly, windows and doors are shining. Wish we could spend more time but we will visit again for sure ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Hands down the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at! The ladies at the front desk were very nice and the hotel lobby was very spacious and so professional looking, you could tell it was about to be nice place. The room was very large and like one I've never seen before. The beds were beyond comfortable and the bathroom was very large and we loved the sliding barn door style. It was so nice and sleek and I got the apartment style vibe because it was so big and homey feeling. Our favorite part was the window with the shutout curtain, super nice!! I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying here if I am ever in the area again.

Can't emphasize enough what a great place to say. We have stayed there several times due to my wife's job, giving virus shots at nursing homes. They allow me to stay a little past checkout and are so nice. Great breakfast, good service. Food is so good. Management, staff and cleaning services are all so nice and professional. Great place!!!!

This place is great! It is CLEAN! It is New!!! Walking distance to the mall or Whole foods! I literally picked this location since I knew bad weather was going to shut down my home airport for the next 24-48 hours. Great location! Sorry I forgot to take a photo before I settled into the room! I'll try and add some photos later when I venture out of my room.
