Early March visit and first experience in Utah did not disappoint. Did the Waterfall Canyon out and back but there are loop and point to point options here too. For a novice hiker, this was incredible.

Parked here and went up the North Skyline Trail toward Ben Lomond Peak. The first two miles was non-technical, beautiful single track. Next mile was more steep and had lots of mosquitoes. Then hit the ridge and it was 360 degrees of absolute beauty. It does look like the trail opens up to dirt bikes on July 15. I went July 1 and didn't see anyone else.

I did get myself on a bike trail because I can't read, but it was very beautiful. The bicyclist was also nice about my mistake.

Not the easiest trailhead to get to, but it's definitely worth going out of your way as it can lead to some of the prettiest spots I found along the Bonneville shoreline Trail. The trail is very well maintained, unlike others with many naturally sheltered spots to rest along the way. There are a couple of river crossings. Depending on the time of year they may be dry, but this year they're running full even in the middle of summer

This is such an amazing hike! The water was flowing and it was a little muddy but not too slippery. The waterfall was amazing! Being that I was not acclimated to the altitude it was a challenging hike for me, but definitely worth it! Whenever I come to Ogden this is a must hike for me!

Ogdens waterfall canyon is one of my favorite hikes! I have been hiking this trail for years! The payoff at the end with waterfall is worth the hike!

It's a pretty hike with a beautiful waterfall at the end and not that crowded.

This trail is a fun experience! I love it. It's connected with few other trails. I would say that it's not a hard hike, but it's steep almost all the way.

It can take you 1hr approx. to get to the Waterfall depending how many rest you take.

It gets very hot up there in the summer, be prepared with water but try to pack light.

It's Kids and Dog friendly. I did it with my 6 year old and he loved it.

It worth the time. Very relaxing.

Took a wonderful hike up the waterfall trail. Traction devices are almost mandatory in the winter. We tried one day without them and turned back. Came back the next day with crampons and had a wonderful hike. The shoreline trail can be done in the winter without traction devices.

Beautiful! This hike is uphill and rocky. Some people say it's two miles, and some say it's three. It feels longer because of the terrain. Just take your time up and down because the trail will be wet in some spots. If you bring a dog, please respect the leash law. Bring plenty of water. Do not drink from the river or streams. Take plenty of pictures along the way and plan extra time to spend at the falls.

What a neat experience. First real hiking a mountain experience. Was pretty tough for first time. Took us a lot longer than most and we ended up hiking down mostly in the dark. Was really cool to see the moon come over the mountain.

The trail is of a moderate difficulty, and most definitely worth making the journey. When there is a low amount of water coming from the waterfall, if it gets windy, then the waterfall will go upwards rather than downwarda.

As Trailheads go this is a nice one. There are restrooms, which are nice, good parking and a covered information/sitting area. This trail is beginner to medium. Most of the way is a nice easy incline. The last 15-20 min starts getting steep and rocky. Kids can do this hike but it is difficult on the 3-5 year olds. The reward of the waterfall is fun though. The water is flowing heavily currently but you still get some water and it's still pretty.

Love the trail, didn't see anything wrong in my opinion. Has a bike trail and I didn't go the full length since it was late. Seems to be a loop trail and I'm really wanting to go the full route, will have to and take pictures and update.

It's a fun trail that's 1.21 miles to the waterfall. A good choice for the family. Their are some steep sections with loose rock but doable. Their are a few sections where you will walk through shallow runoff water. Plenty of tree shade and safe spots for kids to play in the water. You could estimate it to take a family with younger kids about a hour to reach the waterfall.

This is a great hike, even for little kids. Start in morning to avoid the sun in afternoon. The trail is well maintained, with great views of the valley. Also, the waterfall at the end of the hike makes it all worth it. There are a few steep parts of hike, nothing crazy though.
