I had a great experience today while shopping for bedroom furniture. I had messaged Jordan earlier in the week and he sent me several pictures after I told him what I was looking for. Me and my husband went into the store today and asked for Jordan and he was quick to help us. He was patient and went out of his way to show different options while I was deciding on what set to buy. We ended purchasing a beautiful bedroom set and an accent chair. I couldn’t be happier with the furniture choice, price, and excellent service!!

My experience was very pleasant. I never felt pressured to buy anything. I was greeted with a smile and told to look around and to let them know if I needed anything further. I felt very comfortable the whole time I was there. Very nice folks! I will definitely go back.

We have been looking for a new sectional couch for a couple of years. We have been to several furniture stores but just never really saw anything that we really thought was what we were looking for. We finally decided on the style we liked and started checking around at different stores. While we were able to get the longer sectional that we wanted for the price of a shorter sectional at other stores, the big difference for us was the customer service we got with Gilliam Thompson. Amanda was great!!! She wasn’t pushy and put up with all of our crazy questions. She helped us choose a great fabric and colors for the couch as well as the pillows. She showed us all of the options we had to choose from and was very friendly doing it. Another big thing Gilliam Thompson offered was free delivery. While some stores wanted to charge a delivery fee to bring it 10 miles they are delivering it free. We looked at Gilliam Thompson and then left and went elsewhere to look but we just kept comparing to Gilliam Thompson and Amanda and the others just didn’t measure up. We will definitely go back when we need other furniture. Definitely recommend Gilliam Thompson!

After having ordered from another furniture store, (terrible experience) and not receiving my items, I reached out to Jan at Gilliam Thompson. She has been most professional with understanding my situation, returning my calls, checking into the items I wanted and getting my furniture on order immediately. Adrienne was very friendly and helpful! She was patient as we tried out most of the couches and recliners lol. We found the perfect furniture at a great price. Definitely recommend!

We were looking for three specific items when we arrived just after they opened on a weekday. Adrienne greeted us and had great knowledge of what they had in stock on the floor and what was available to order. We purchased furniture here five years ago from her, so that says a lot that their employees stay! We found 2/3 items thanks to Adrienne. Gilliam Thompson is our place for furniture!

Excellent experience ordering new couch in fabric I chose and selecting fabrics for decorative pillows. Salesperson, Jan Rohrer, gave me all time I needed to measure, try out various couches and make my selection. Received the couch today, and it is beautiful and I am so happy with the product. I'll be going back to Gilliam Thompson for a chair to accompany the couch. Gilliam Thompson even took my old couch and chair and donated it to Anna Gardner Center to give to tornado victims. It was still in very good condition. Super over the top service

We absolutely love Gilliam Thompson! We have bought multiple pieces from here over the years and have loved them all!! We have worked with Jan a number of times and this time I worked with Amanda. Everyone is so nice and so helpful! Cannot recommend enough!!

This store is by far the BEST furniture store in our area, with a large selection to choose from. Customer service is outstanding! Whitney was amazing, doing everything to help me find exactly what I needed. Please, if you need furniture of any type, ask for Whitney, she is truly a blessing!!

Missy helped me furnish my new house in October of 2022. Because of her helpfulness, I didn’t hesitate to come back to Gulliam Thompson Furniture for her help. Again, she found what I needed. She was able to get it at a price within my budget! The delivery team agreed to have it set up in the time frame for the guests to enjoy!

I live in Union City, TN. and really didn't want to drive the 45 minutes to Mayfield for furniture, but my mom had bought beautiful pieces from this store before, so she talked me into going, and I'm so glad she did. The owners and all the workers were so kind. This place is really big and has some of the prettiest pieces I've seen and best of all the prices are the best. I went in looking for a new desk and found exactly what I was looking for and to top it off they are delivering it to my house for free. I will definitely be back for more pieces in the next few weeks. I highly recommend this place. I give it a 10/10.

Awesome selection of recliners, so many it was hard to pick just one! And our salesperson Amanda was incredibly helpful not only with the recliner but also in finding us the best adjustable bed base. Our first stop when furniture shopping is always Gilliam-Thompson, and still continues to be our only stop. Highly recommended!

Amanda greeted me as I entered the door, showing me selections available of what I said I wanted. She was pleasant, considerate, efficient, & accommodating. Amanda ensured my purchase was delivered same day as purchase. The 2 delivery men were polite & made sure I was happy with the placement of loveseat in home, before they left. Top-notch service from beginning to end of experience.
