Very busy when we got there but there was no wait and we got our food in a timely manner. They have limited edition holiday pies

As always, it's just good home style cooking. We have never been disappointed.

My whole family got sick last Sunday from eating there. I tried to call to talk to someone about it and I never received a call back. We eat there often and have never had a bad experience before..

We went to the Cracker Barrel in Mayfield, KY after leaving the cemetery from burying my mother in law. Needless to say we had a very large group of sad people. Michelle was our server and bless her heart, she was SO VERY sweet! She had everyone talking and laughing and we all felt much better when we left! If you go this Cracker Barrel, ask for Michelle!!

The Cracker Barrel in Mayfield, KY exceeded my expectations. The biscuits were extremely fluffy. The server told us that they were always good when Tad makes them. He deserves a raise! The rest of the food was just as tasty and arrived quickly. Our server was extremely friendly and very hospitable. Lately, my experience with Cracker Barrel has been a bit of a letdown. From poor customer service to cold and burned food, other Cracker Barrels had me thinking that I should remove it as a restaurant that I want to visit. Thank you , Cracker Barrel of Mayfield, for renewing my hope that your restaurant isn't ready to give up.

Food was good but, the best part of the meal was our server Darian. He was on time with everything, respectful, and knew the menu. Thank you Darian for being a great server!

I mean, it's Cracker Barrel you know !!
Like any middle of the scale, inexpensive, sit down, casual restaurant, thier menu and method food preparation is stable from one location to another.
The small merchandise filled entry is a very groovy addition and they stock alot of cool stuff and snacks not available in most locales.
I'll just close with this; if you try them, you're either gonna like them or love them !!

I got the Maple Bacon Chicken. It is so good! Food was fresh and service was excellent.

Food is great, but service was a little slow for the amount of people. I had the steak bites withe fried shrimp and it was awesome

This place is a slice of Americana and feels like being home in the Smoky Mountains. Always remind me of my grandmother and mother's cooking, and is delicious. The fireplace, along with the decor and exact smell of the restaurant is wonderful. Super friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely love the food and service here always.

We were a party of 12 for a birthday party. Everything went great! The staff handled the order and served the food with no issues. Drinks were served and refilled as needed. Food was great, as always. Will definitely use again for family or friends reunions.

I always get chicken and dumplings with fried okra and cornbread. They are delicious!!

Our waitress was fantastic. She was quick, friendly knew what she was doing and had the biggest smile. She took care of everyone in her section.
The food was good to. Hash Brown casserole came out great this time. Last time it had too much sour cream.
