El Colonial

This was our first time visiting the restaurant. I forgot to take pictures of the menu, but they had a good variety to choose from and great prices. We really liked what we ordered. The portions were nice and filled us up, without having too little and still being hungry or having too much and needing to take extras home. All the employees were very nice, and our waiter kept checking on us. We will be back!

Oh my goodness! Best mexican food I've ever eaten! The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. Our waiter, Pedro was phenomenal and the food was fast, fresh and amazing. So filling too. We've traveled to different counties and states to eat and by far, this one takes the top spot. We got the El Colonial burrito.... Wow! We can only give 5 stars but if we could give 0
10, El Colonial would get it!

Extremely fun & festive atmosphere, genuinely friendly staff. Delicious & generous portions of flavorful, savory authentic Mexican dishes prepared fresh on order. Mixed drinks are too die for. Will be eating again here again.

I came here at around dinner rush (around 5p, 1700)

Staff: Friendly and attentive, always moving around, giving the entire dining area an excellent experience.

Cleanliness: very clean, especially for dinner hour.

Food: delicious. Typical Mexican food you will get an most Mexican restaurants. (this food is very similar to casa grande in South point, Ohio.) chips and salsa are included in your meal... Queso is extra.

You take your bill up to the counter when you first walk in, after receiving it.

I love Mexican food and I love this place. Great job to the management and staff! Keep up the great work!

After amazing service and excellent food, we managed to get a shot of the last bite of fried Ice cream... If you are looking for a family friendly atmosphere with some of THE best food in the tri-state, grab a bite at El Colonial. You won't be sorry.

Love me some 🌮🌯. This place served up a really good Cadillac margarita. For a dollar more, much better than the house.
Chips were delish along with the salsa. Street tacos were also very good. Enjoyed the idea of making my own with the lunch options.
We opted for the cake at the end. Hard to miss when you walk in. Bit steep for cake, but boy was it good!
Youngster ordered in Spanish and the waiter/owner was kind to play along.

Went there for my son's birthday dinner tonight and it was amazing! The staff was extremely nice and the food was delicious. The pineapple margarita was also delicious. The inside looks completely different than the last time we were there a few years ago. Definitely upgraded! We will be back more often!

My lunch today (El Colonial Burrito) was excellent! I usually eat Pollo Juan which is great but wanted a beef dish today. I get fast dine-in service but this was take out. It was very prompt and still very hot when delivered! Thanks to Juan Diego and crew! God bless you! Stephanie

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean. Service is fast and very friendly. I have to recommend the pollo degollado if you're a fan of delicious veggies! The tres leches cake and fried ice cream are wonderful too. Pricing is fair for the amount of food you receive.
