Drake's Place Restaurant & BBQ Smokehouse

Listen, this place is absolutely delicious! The Drake wings - sweet & spicy are amazing! The house salad with the homemade sauce was so creamy and had so much flavor! I will definitely be returning for the salad because it was so good! The service was as amazing! The atmosphere feels like home. It feels like you’re will family & friends. The music was great and it was just perfect! Easily, 10/10! Thank me later!

EVERYTHING about the place was nothing short from amazing! They truly exceeded my expectations, my only regret is not trying them sooner. The food was simply amazing and reasonable even with the “Sunday side” upgrade charge. The corn muffin was slightly dry but nothing the greens juice can’t fix. The waiter Summer was VERY respectful and courteous and upfront and communicated additional charges before she added it to my bill. They also offer military discount. Truly a gem of a place. Most certainly will be back with several of my greedy sisters!

We enjoyed our dinner date. The place was very quaint. The lady who served us was very sweet and I believe was the co-owner. The service was great! I felt like a guest in their home. The fried shrimp were cooked to perfection.

Food was PHENOMENAL. Server was very sweet and attentive. Flavors were really popping in everything we ordered. You could tell that most of it was made from scratch and with love. For the people complaining of wait time, please remember good food takes time! Our food came out in a very reasonable amount of time. Can’t wait to come back! Music and ambiance was on point too.

This restaurant is so fresh & so clean.  We ordered the steak & potatoes with broccoli.  The food was well prepared & delicious.  Our waiter, Caleb, is outstanding.  He's very attentive, makes great recommendations & made sure we had a wonderful dining experience.  We also met the owner, Bridget.  She's quite cheerful & very optimistic about the future of her restaurant.

The food was delicious and hot…the service was awesome I felt like I was at home. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming.. it was our first time but we will be back to explore more of the menu and catch the next Sunday special. The drinks are good too my tropical margarita was yummy

Today, 11/11/23 was my first time dining here, and it was amazing. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome by all of the staff that was upfront. They were polite, and all had smiles on their faces. We had the catfish dinner with mac, green beans, and sweet potatoes, and that ish was 🔥 🔥 🔥. The food was hot, full of flavor and non salty. 😋 I give this place 10/10. The only small thing was they seemed a little understaffed, but made due with what they had. I will definitely be going back and taking the family. Oh they were really affordable.

Went in first time tonight for a To-go order. Such nice owners and employees. Food was Fantastic! Great flavor! We will be regulars now! Most definitely a good dinner, for a fair price. I highly recommend Drake's Place! 👍🏽 Buffalo Cauliflower is a MUST try.

Visiting St. Louis from Texas & we picked this restaurant based on the good reviews. We were not disappointed!!! Beautiful place, great service, & ***delicious*** food! Go try it for yourself. 🤤

Found out about the place from a Fox2News segment and decided to try em out. Better than expected all around! We did Brisket, Ribs, Potato Salad & Mac n Cheese and all was fantastic. Service was attentive and the place is great! We will be back!

Very peaceful but enjoyable atmosphere. The place was very clean. The food was outstanding everything was hot and not warm with a burst of flavor in every bite my family will be back.

My cousin introduced me to this place and when I say it is soooo good. The owner and the server was super nice. My food came out hot and fresh. The greens was the best greens I ever tasted in my life. My bake chicken was crispy just the way I liked it. I will define back.

Drakes Place is a family run business with excellent food. Sundays are my favorite day to go because they have additional entrees on the board. Everything I've eaten there has been delicious. Excellent service!!!

What a great “find”! Visiting St Louis and Googled restaurants “near me” when Drake’s popped up. Small locally owned restaurant that over performs when it comes to food quality and customer service. Also a welcoming vibe which made the whole experience even sweeter. And last but not least, reasonably priced, especially given the food quality. If you’re in the area, Drake’s is a must!

Omg I finally got to eat here on Mother's Day. It was awesome, very nice and friendly people. The place was very small, tho I did think it would be bigger but it does give off that chilln with the family on holiday type feel. I got the salmon, and all I could say was yeasssssssssssssss I will be back to try everything else because they rock. Shout out to the chef

Restaurant was clean. Our waitress was fast and attentive, and the food was really good. We couldn't try everything we saw on the menu but we will definitely be back!

Came here for my birthday and had the blackened catfish with shrimp. It was served over a bed of rice with a Cajun gravy. It was beyond amazing. By the time the waitress could come back to check on us, I had finished 3/4 of the plate. As I said, I ate my meal unconsciously and don’t have a photo. But this cake….. 🤤🤤 enjoy

This is the first time we visited Drakes and it won't be the last. Courtney was our server, so professional and offered plenty of options, so knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cozy and the drinks were made with love.
