The Fix Coffeehouse & Bar

Really excited to have a new coffee shop with vegan options! I got an oat milk Cookie Butter latte and an everything bagel with a tasty vegan cream cheese. New favorite coffee shop! I’ll definitely be here multiple times a week. Staff was very kind and fast, even though they were busy. That means a lot.

It’s so nice to have a good coffee place back in the neighborhood again. These guys are great!
The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is friendly. They have great pastries here too.

There is a limited lunch menu, nut the items they have are great. The “Italian Stallion” I got Iast Friday (I don’t remember his name) was awesome!

Be patient -
Remember that they have only been open for a week and they are still working out some kinks. The day I visited there was a delay on getting my coffee because they burned some toast or something and set off the building’s fire alarm system, and people were littering the street out in front. Damn - it was worth the wait because the coffee tastes so good. It was worth the wait. The girl with the multi-color hair is very nice. They are all very nice in there. I’ll be back.

I'm so excited that my favorite coffee shop opened up a new location! It's the same friendly service and delicious coffee in a great new spot. There's a large parking lot behind the shop, and lots of seating inside for people watching.

Stopped by for lunch and ordered an Everything Bagelwich. I thought it was very tasty, and a good deal all things considered.

The place was packed when I went. Seems like a nice place to go and work for a couple hours if you want to hang out somewhere cozy ☺

Just because ‘some’ is good doesn’t mean ‘more’ is better; but in the case of Walnut Hills and The Fix, this new location is a very welcome addition.

Very good, if not show-stoppingly great coffee (after 5ish espresso-based drinks, averaging 4/5), delicious pastries (can compete with Machiko and certainly whatever Urbana has on offer, depending on what you’re on the mood for) and attentive, friendly service.

Nothing too distinctive about the atmosphere (the low ceilings and tricky time-of-day natural lighting inside this spot make it a bit of an uphill climb for any tenant) but that only helps if you’re looking for a comfortable, reliable place to go for conversation or work with minimal distractions/disruption. Not patio season, but this is a great spot just next to St. Frances de Sales when it is.

We have half a dozen-ish shops within walking distance here in EWH, but this Fix location feels like our new go-to. Welcome to (this part of) the neighborhood.

Great across the board. We live right down the road so we’re super excited have a phenomenal coffeeshop back at this location.

Very cool spot and excellent drinks and service. My son loved his sandwich and my cortado was very good.

My favorite new Coffee spot.

I accidentally ordered for pickup from this location instead of the other one. I thought it would be the same high quality but it wasn’t. I ordered a large iced caramel latte with almond milk, as always. When I arrived at the register, the person stated “large iced latte with almond milk” and I replied “with caramel, right?” She said “yes.” Upon receipt of their product, the first thing I noticed was that it was made like a macchiato (unstirred), not a latte. The other location definitely makes a latte stirred and it’s kind of silly to have to order a latte stirred. Second, after having to go home and stir a latte, there is no trace of caramel. Especially since it was not stirred, I should’ve been able to see the caramel at the bottom, but it was all milk (see photo). For the price you pay for a cup here, the person at the register should’ve checked with the barista to make sure they got it right. Also I got no knife for my bagel and cream cheese. I’ll stick with the other location. The people there know what they’re doing and already have 5 stars from me.
