Ghost Baby

Ghost baby is such a unique atmosphere being underground with gorgeous, historical curved stone walls, luxurious decor and seating, and fun drinks. We appreciated the creative spin with the drink menu as well as the typical fan favorites and multiple non-alcoholic choices!! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Music was outstanding!! It was great to have an hour of live music and an hour to chat with our table and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a date night or group gathering!

Situated some 40 feet below street level, this space has a rich history, and just drips cool with its vibe.

My friends and I made a reservation as stipulated on the website, and were able to enjoy a lively New Orleans- style band. But, for the 'front' area of the space, which has its own bar, you don't need a reservation. I thought the sound would be overpowering for such an enclosed space, but the speakers were well-placed and the levels just right.

The servers were kept on their toes for a busy late Sat night, so the delay in getting to us after we sat was certainly understandable. Yet, they were all courteous and professional, offering a smile, or a suggestion even if we weren't their table, and even did not rush us out as last call was sounded and the lights began to come up.

This is my 5th time in Cincy for work, and I'd always planned to go. I'm glad it worked out that I got to finally experience what all the buzz was about.

Definitely a great experience. The drinks were spectacular in looks and taste. The atmosphere is very unique. We were there prior to the live music so cannot rate that.

This place is such a great time. Admittance guys were dope. The vibes of the whole place were immaculate. It was hopping yet not rowdy. Cozy yet classy. Not much in terms of food since it's a bar which is fine but a great drink selection. I got the drink "lucky and I loved it. They had awesome live music. Can't wait to go again

Very cool vibes! Bar tenders can make more cocktails than on the menu! Highly recommended asking for a whiskey sour WITH THE EGG WHITE!! in order to get into main part, a reservation is required, but the bar area is first come first serve.

We came in without a reservation, sat at the front bar, made one really quick and got straight back!!! Best service, best drinks and best vibe in town. Will 100% be back. Malakhi was absolutely AMAZING!! Big T at the door was such a pleasure!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

This place is special! Reservations began drying up about 6 weeks before my trip so I grabbed the 1030pm-1230pm block because it was all that was left! Book early!

The music was great. Live band playing and it's loud in that echoing tunnel! But the vibe here is absolutely fantastic! We felt like our server was paying attention to us. The drinks were all wonderfully different from eachother and tasty.

What really made it good for my group is that a friend had been wanting to come here for years and I included that in my reservation. The door man and the hostess both told him "We've been waiting for you, Adam" and then at the table, there was a hand written note that said the same. His ice cube had a little ghost frozen inside of it to take home with him! They could not have done a better job at making him feel special. It was so appreciated!

There is one downside -- the $22 charcuterie is about as big as a lunchable and not really worth your time. If this place took the charcuterie seriously and served it on a ghost shaped board with 2 or 3 cheese, 2 kinds of meat, 2 types of cracker with a jam and a mustard they could charge $30 and it could elevate the experience. Instead, I got a little cardboard fast food tray with some grapes and cheese. It was okay but it did nothing to enhance the experience and it felt like a real opportunity missed. I included a photo of it so you can decide for yourself if you'd pay $22 for one.

But please note that despite the disappointing charcuterie, I still gave this place 5 stars. They do seem to care about their guests, their drinks are exceptional, and the vibe is pitch perfect and there is truly nothing cooler in Cinci for a small group of friends who enjoy exploring strange places!

Ghost Baby was a fun and unique experience. Truly an underground speakeasy with spectacular cocktails, a chill ambiance and excellent service, in setting unlike any other. You get the boogie feeling but without the pretentious vibes.
The #3 Ghost's Favorite Old Fashioned was most excellent and made with extreme skill.
My favorite cocktail I had here however, was unlike anything I had ever tasted before. The #5, duck fat washed Bulleit Rye, Hennessy VS, Demerara and Peychaud Bitters. This drink is so smooth, hurting with flavor and leaves you wanting more. Truly with the visit alone just for this cocktail.
The overall ambiance is chill, mysterious, intimate, secretive and romantic. Excellent place for a date. Tables are small so not very comfortable for more than 4 people.

Great place to go for a unique experience. I was born and raised in Cincinnati and now live out of town. This is a place I always go and take friends too. Just make sure you make a reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

Coolest bar we’ve ever been to, hands down. The bartenders floated around like goddesses and the performances were fabulous. Drinks are pricier than what you’ll find around the area, yes, but YOU ARE UNDERGROUND. You’ll enjoy being away from normal life and the staff of Ghost Baby will treat you right.

One of the most unique places in Cincinnati! If you are coming to the city you need to check this place out! Make a reservation and get ready to be amazed by all of it. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and all-around great!

An absolute must see! Amazing atmosphere. The staff is incredible and the music was great. This was my first time visiting Cincinnati and was an experience to remember. This place is unique in every way. Kudos to the entire staff. Outstanding!

Super cool spot! We weren’t sure if we were in the right spot at first so we took a lap around the block. Follow the purple light! Be careful it’s several dimly lit flights of stairs down to the bar, but I’m sure there’s an elevator if needed. We got there at 11:00pm and were able to get seats at the bar. Drinks were super tasty and great live music! Wished there were a few more food options.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I wanted to thank Morgan! They were WONDERFUL to us the entire night. We were there celebrating my friend’s 21st bday and they made sure we were ok and constantly checked in on us — super welcoming and friendly. Definitely will be back (for the ambiance, drinks, AND Morgan lol).

My wife and I went to ghost baby on a whim and had such a fun time. We loved the atmosphere in the den. Our drinks were delicious and had little to no wait on a Thursday night.

This speak easy is awesome! I emailed the bar and made a reservation for 7 people. It was easy and I had no issues when we arrived! The drinks are expensive but they taste great plus 1. We paid no cover charge 2. We listened to live music. We were there celebrating me finding a wedding dress. We told the performer and she dedicated two great songs to me and our server brought out shots of champagne on the house for us!! My family and friends had so much fun here. It was a great way to wow people visiting Cincinnati.

I FINALLY got to visit here. Have been hearing good comments about it. We had reservations, so we were seated. There was live entertainment and the atmosphere was nice. We tried some of the specialty drinks and were not disappointed!

Such a cool place with great live music on the weekends! Menu is pricey, but what can you expect for an underground speakeasy in a renovated underground tunnel? Very cool spot that’s worth a visit, especially if you’re visiting the city looking for a unique spot to explore.
