Fifth Third Business Banking - Maeve Harrington

I've had my account with Fifth Third almost 20 years. My mother's name was on my account so that she could pay my bills while overseas. Recently we had a falling out and I've tried to get her name off all my accounts. Dealing with Fifth Third during this difficult time has been a nightmare. Can't tell you how many times I've called their call center or set up an automated callback only to have my call dropped, and when they do get on the phone, it sounds like I'm talking to someone from a foreign country who barely speaks English, and these are their "customer service professionals." Can't tell you how much bad advice I've gotten. No we can't take her name off the account, you'll have to close and reopen a new account. I can't open an account on your phone system or online service because I'm stationed in Texas, and there are no 5/3 services there. You'll have to go into a branch. I can't go into a branch because I'm in Texas. You'll have to send the money to yourself by Zelle. That disappeared into somewhere and couldn't be found for a while. Then the Zelle transaction was cancelled and it force reopened my account which I spent 2 weeks trying to close. Then a check was generated and sent my full balance by check to my mother's house. Didn't I give you a new address? No Sir you'll have to go into a branch for that. I can't go into a branch; I'm in Texas. Could this be any more frustrating?!
