Very busy, efficiently run. Desi loves it - evidenced by his tail wagging each time he visits. It’s one of those “everybody knows your name” places, at least that is what Desi tells me. Plus their treatment and care for our fur babies is wonderful.

What a great Vet practice. They know that pets can need to be seen right away and try to allow for that in their schedule. This means so much to us , because one of our cats was coughing and needed to be seen. The office is so nice , we really like Toni, the receptionist, the vet tech and Dr. Weller.

Our animals became patients of the practice - primarily Dr. Larry Keller - about a year ago. We have two cats and a senior dog. We were always able to get appointments and discuss concerns and treatment options. Not only did they take wonderful care of our pets, they look out for homeless pets in the community, too. We are relocating out of state and hope we will find a practice with similarly compassionate people.

My dog was very frightened by the vets office but they were so kind and took time to make her + I feel comfortable! The doctor thoroughly answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease! The prices are very reasonable! They have great hospitality and genuinely care about you + your pet. 😊

A small town feel...like you're not just a number... everyone is so kind and friendly...we started coming here during the pandemic, after a bad experience at another vet...I was so impressed with their care and concerns... something I didn't experience at the other vets... definitely recommend....

My daughter and I brought my cat Simba here because after a really long, healthy life, Simba was exhibiting symptoms of being a very sick cat. Dr. Keller was our physician and I will say this wonderful physician did everything he could do to save our little kitty’s life. The staff, with the exception of one person was absolutely great, Even though our little Simba did not make it Dr. Keller and the majority of his staff was there throughout everything from beginning to the very end when we watched him take his last little breath. I can honestly tell Dr. Keller had a personal interest in Simba and they touched our hearts. We will never forget the kindness that was shown by all of the staff with the exception of the receptionist. This review is about the beautiful way they handled our situation, so I will try not to make this about the reception as while still keeping it real. This place works like a well oiled machine with the exception being the receptionist who will most likely immediately place you on hold and return without giving her name, interrupt you, and even though she’s heard your voice 50 million times say I don’t know who’s speaking while you’re actively trying to tell her who’s speaking and what pet it is in regard to. If you are calling from a car phone, the second, she hears the slightest inkling that you may be on speaker or a car phone she will start to say she can’t hear you even though ironically, you haven’t spoken yet, it’s just the noise before you are even afforded the opportunity to speak and she will hang up on you. Even though any other call you make will be crystal clear to any other business. All and all I hope that this review is read, and people realize Dr. Keller and his staff are really the real deal. And as far as the receptionist, if nothing more than they choose to give her secret calls at random to determine whether I’m speaking the truth or not, and let her own employment fate be determined by her own actions going forward this might help another grieving family who is coming in with a sick pet not have to deal with this and also let Lewis Animal Hospital be seen for the beacon of hope that it is for sick pets and sad stressed out owners. Other than the receptionist please go to this hospital if you need great care for your pet. They have a Ridge location if you want to avoid the receptionist at the O’Brienville location. Everyone else is absolutely professional. Despite the receptionist, I give this place a five star rating. Also shoutout to Tracy. She’s amazing!

It was NinoBJ's 1st vet. Check we registered in car, was in for checkup & staff was pleasant, facility was clean, being his 1st time he was a little skiddish but he was handled sympathetically, (he's a big baby) literally everything was great. I'd recommend them for sure. And his partner in all crimes chrismas will be going here as well

I love Lewis Animal Hospital. I have been taking my dog there for 6 years and they genuinely care for him. He gets lots of love and affection, just like all the other pets that go here! He always gets in quickly when it's urgent and the best vet tech and front desk person in the world work here.

The Doctors Keller and staff are simply outstanding. They have consistently gone the "extra mile" in assisting us with paperwork for international travel with our cat. They are responsive, kind, caring and highly professional.

It's obvious they truly care about the well being of my little buddy! A thorough check up, great follow up and I left with peace of mind and wanting to be of Irish heritage instead of German ; ) heehee.

Wonderful folks! Very reasonable prices and they don't try too hard to upsell. My animals are well taken care of here.

I decided to switch vets, and made an appointment with Lewis after multiple friends recommended them. I ended up messing up my appointment day and time and showed up on a day they were booked up. They squeezed me in with practically zero wait time, and were so incredibly nice about it! The vet was very personable and nice and made me feel better about the issues my cat was having. We will be going there from now on! Wonderful experience.

I absolutely love Dr. Keller, the other vets, and staff at Lewis Animal Hospital. I worked as a Vet Tech as a 1st career, and can tell a good Vet Team! You guys are great! Thank you for always going out of your way to squeeze me in, and to make sure I get the best deal possible!

Dr Larry Keller and all the staff here took amazing care of my cat for over 12 years. Keith was never more loved and cared for when they saw him. From routine visits to emergency care to his last day, they always loved him and helped make life for him and his human so much easier. I have nothing but kind things to say about them.

I love this vet! The prices are reasonable, the vets are very good, and the prescription dog food is the best price around. If you’re questioning, just go!
