Steak 'n Shake

We hadn't been to a Steak 'n Shake in a very long time so we were new to the kiosks for ordering. The manager greeted us immediately upon entering the restaurant. He explained how to use the kiosk and explained about how we can earn $2 back for every $20 spent. He didn't have to but helped me with the trays in bringing them to our tables. The burgers were amazing. The 5 way chili was excellent 👌!! The managers wife works there and was very kind. Overall a great experience, very courteous, clean, and welcoming! Thanks again and Merry Christmas!!

This is by far the best Steak & Shake I’ve ever been to !!
The food is always hot, fresh, and good portion sizes. All the employees are friendly & pleasant.

The kiosk ordering is a big time saver & makes it easy to customize your order if needed. I’m sure some probably don’t care for it, but I think it’s great !!

This is the best steak ‘n shake location in the tristate. Super clean! Food came out quick and correct. All workers are wearing gloves and checking on customers.

This Steak ‘n Shake has been redone and it’s great!!! It’s a multi kiosk area where you put your order in, no servers, then you grab your drink and take a seat and wait for your order to be called. The kitchen was fast and efficient, we waited less than 10 mins for our food on a Friday night. Emily was the one who was checking on everyone, she was so so nice and cheerful and helpful. The food was hot and very good. No complaints at all

We had not eaten at a Steak-n- shake in a long time due to poor service and food quality. My family decided to stop in at this restaurant just to give it a try again. It was a wonderful experience the food and the service was very good. The manager came around and made sure everything was okay and if he could do anything to help you.

I HATED steak and shake for most of my life. I got dragged in here by family that insisted I try it. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. seriously try it! Old reviews are just that! Old reviews! New owners new staff awesome results

I went through the drive through. I got a comb that included a double cheese steakburger and Steak & Shake's famous extremely thin French fries that were hot and crisp. I haven't seen a S&S TV commercial for many years (I have never had satellite or cable TV), but back in the old days they had a commercial where a young man asked, "Why do we call ourselves Steak and Shake?...because we can!" He meant that their burgers aren't made with just ground beef, it's never frozen ground steak. I had forgotten how good their food is, but now that I've experienced it again I'm going to eat there more often now. My only complaint--and it's a big one--is that I ordered water and from the first sip I could tell it was just plain unfiltered tap water and was gross. If they start serving good filtered water I will edit this review.

This place used to be rough a couple years ago before this review. The new managers have totally saved this place and updated it so it is far more convenient! They have a touch screen order system. They now call your order number too. The prices are cheap and the food is pretty good and has tasted fresh the past few times I have been there. The staff are friendly as well!

I believe one of the owners was named Jeff and he was very friendly for our first time there. He brought our utensils to our table and kept checking to make sure we had great service!

Just ate at Steak n' Steak for the first time in years and was very impressed with the service, food and price range. I was checked on by multiple employees while waiting for extra fries as well as the manager and/or owner who was very friendly and answered any questions we had! If you're in the mood for a steak burger, Steak n' Steak is the place to go!

1st time going to any steak n shake and was absolutely impressed. Food was amazing and the restaurant was very clean. The kiosks are easy to order on and the staff was friendly.

The girl Savannah I think was her name, she was the most amazing worker there definitely could give SpongeBob a run for his money. This girl can do good things with her kindness and caringness

Best experience at a Steak ‘n Shake!
First we got there and were greeted happily! I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to walk into a semi fast food restaurant and be greeted and actually be friendly.

We went to the kiosk to order and a super sweet employee offered to help with the new kiosks and made sure we were able to submit order with ease.

Our food was delivered to our table which I didn’t expect (Bc you typically would walk up and grab it from counter) but it was also super delicious. Shakes were made to perfection and weren’t too thick like most steak n shakes. You could actually drink them.

And lastly, the store was clean. All tables were clean and available. The soda station was stocked and clean.

We left and told to have a great evening.

The service was fast. The owner was available and greeted us. They talked with us and showed us how to order our meals on the kiosk machine.

Been here a few times. Food is always accurate and quick. People seem happy to help and looks clean. This past Tuesday, the manager on shift was walking around engaging with people and assisting.

Truly a nice experience. While there wasn't a counter to order (who cares), the kiosks were easy to use. The self-serve beverage, ketchup and napkin hospitality station was great. Food took just a few minutes to come up and was made exactly as ordered (and tasty). Clean restaurant. Quite a nice surprise today, which in the past was not the case. Congrats Steak and Shake!

Don’t get the bad reviews. Place has been seriously updated. Cheaper than Wendy’s yet every time we go the quality is incredible. You order on a screen with great customization. Feeds a family of 6 for real cheep.

Awesome burger and fry combo for $4.44! We love it. Lots of burger options to choose from. The chili is tasty. So they don't have table service anymore. Now you walk up to a kiosk and order your food. I really like that. Things are definitely much much faster as a result. Table service is gone, yet they still want a tip. The food is great and it is very inexpensive. The restaurant is much faster now. They do a good job.
