I truly cannot say enough good things about Riverview Animal Hospital. The vets and staff are all wonderful. The team is so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and responsive. My pup and I truly could not ask for a better vet/team. Each individual I’ve interacted with here has further cemented what an amazing place this is.

Today was a hard day. River view has been my family vet for years and today I had to put down my beloved dog/child. The ladies here were amazing. Compassionate, loving, kind and had all the patience. Thank you for explaining everything thoroughly and made sure my baby including myself were well taken care of.

Started going here due to my boyfriend having rave reviews for his dog Ruby going thru surgery with Dr. Mahon years ago. I first met with Dr. Todd who was great. We did get unfortunate news my young pup Dodger had cancer but felt we were in safe hands. Dr. Mahon ended up doing the surgery and it went well. Due to unfortunate events due to the size of the tumor and location we ended up having to spend many of days with the Riverview family for bandage changes and check ups. They treated us like family and basically held our hands thru some of the hardest months of our lives. They’re always thorough with explanations and checking in, following up, and caring about your fur baby. Ruby ended up needing an urgent surgery again and if it wasn’t for Dr. Mahon’s (and staffs) thorough knowledge, experience, and dedication- I believe we would have had much worse outcomes with BOTH our pups. As of today we have to healthy healing dogs. I’m extremely happy I chose Riverview. Thru research I found they’re on par with other pricing for vets in the area and I don’t think I’d trust another vet for surgery at this point anyway.

Facility is immaculate and coffee isn’t a bad perk either 😂. Thanks Riverview team for dealing with Kevin and my bad jokes and daily visits! Thank you for everything!

I am a new Doggie Mom. I have a 11 week old Shih Poo. The Veterinarian Team was Awesome. We felt so welcomed and accepting. The staff really cared about my puppy along with her littermate brother who are being raised together. Dr. Todd was caring and answered all of our questions. I am looking forward to Dr. Todd and team caring for my fur baby🤗.

When I got my German Shepherd puppy, Maverick, I was relatively new to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area and had no leads or reference on where was the best place to take him for vet care. I was pretty nervous about this as he is the first dog I’ve raised on my own and has definitely come with his fair share of health issues! I found Riverview when Mav was around 5 months old and I couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing people I have found there. Dr. Mahan & the Riverview team have gone above and beyond to make sure Mav receives the best care possible - Whether it’s fitting him in last minute for an appointment, answering my endless hypochondriac dog mom questions via phone and email, or loving on my boy with pets and treats, they’ve always made him (and me) feel like family! I would recommend them to anyone, especially new pet parents. Their communication is top tier - Any time I have a question, I know they’ll pick up the phone and have an answer back to me within a few hours. Though I wish I saw them less (shout out to German Shepherd health issues), I feel grateful knowing that whenever something does come up, my boy will be in the best hands possible.

P.S. They are also an amazing kitty vet…Even my ornery kitten likes Riverview!

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Riverview Animal Hospital for almost three years, and it is the best decision I’ve made for my pets. I initially chose this vet due to proximity and now I would travel an hour or two just to make sure I could bring my dogs to Riverview.

I really can’t say enough great things about the staff of Riverview. They treat each pet as if they were their own. Dr. Mahan and Dr. Todd are amazing, making sure to get on the level of my dogs and make them feel comfortable. I always feel like they are giving their undivided attention and they never make me feel rushed with all the questions I throw at them. My great dane can be extra challenging due to his skittish nature, but they have worked with me to make sure the visits are less stressful for all.

It is not just the doctors that make Riverview the best. Every last person who works there goes out of their way to make the experience positive with unmatched customer service, a friendly demeanor and great follow through. If someone is looking for a vet, they can’t do better than the team at Riverview Animal Hospital!

We love Dr. Mahan and her team! I’ve been taking my dogs to her office for over 6 years and now most of my family also takes their pets there. I moved away from the area for two years and being able to take my dogs back to her was actually part of the deciding factor to move back. They’re always able to get me in when there’s an emergency and I trust their judgment when it comes to my girls. I have a fearful/skittish dog and they do so amazing with her. Couldn’t ask for a more caring and amazing staff!

I've been going to Dr. Mahan since 2019 and I absolutely love her. We have never had a bad experience with anyone - their staff is fantastic and my dog LOVES everyone she's met here. Never had an issue with vaccines or medications, they know what they're doing. Even though I moved north, I still make the 40-minute drive because there's just no way I am going to find a better vet to care for my pets. My dog loves going and we always leave just as happy as when we went in (even if Dr. Mahan stuck a tube in her ear or handled her paws). Genuinely cannot sing their praises enough and I always recommend them if anyone I know is looking for a vet.

We were referred to Riverview by multiple friends when we moved to Newport and I can understand why. The amount of compassion, professionalism, and help the staff provides is the best we have experienced. Although we have since 25 minutes away, there is no other veterinarian I would trust with the care for my dogs. Thanks to the entire staff at Riverview Animal Hospital!

Have been a patient at Riverview for about 10 years with two different pups and have been so happy. The doctors and staff are fantastic, very caring and compassionate. They always follow up to check after a visit, are quick to answer questions and return calls and have always been great about finding a way to squeeze a sick pup in to see one of the doctors. Highly recommend!

If you love and care for your pet, take them to Riverview Animal Hospital for all their veterinarian needs. The offices are nicer than most human medical offices I've been to and the staff is incredibly kind, empathetic, and great with animals. I couldn't be happier with my experience!

Our dog, Theo, had a bit of a rough start to life health-wise, so we were very picky about his long-term veterinarian. Dr. Mahan and her team have absolutely exceeded all of our expectations! We've been going to her practice for nearly 4 years for routine care and various health questions/concerns. They are always incredibly responsive, thorough, and involve us in the decision-making process. Theo loves seeing everyone there and they always make sure he's as comfortable as possible before doing any exam. Theo recently had teeth cleaning/mole removal done, which can be a scary process as general anesthesia is involved. They called me before his surgery to make sure I didn't have any questions/concerns, let me know how he was doing, and even emailed me with a post-op photo. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Mahan is wonderful. All of the vets I have met are super nice and respectful. I never felt pressured Into anything in regards to my pets care. I have been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Mahan since around 2017. All of the staff are super friendly. Taking your loved fur babies to vet can be super stressful when they are sick or injured. The staff really do a good job in being compassionate. If you need a vet, give Riverview animal hospital a try. You will be glad you did.
