If you’re hunting for a dusty bottle that transports you back in history with a single sip then this is your place. Revival has vintage bottles you won’t find at your average bourbon bar in a welcoming environment with reasonable prices. The bartenders, especially Millie, are a wealth of knowledge and all around fantastic human beings. Revival has quickly become one of my favorite places.

Tips:
- There is a parking lot directly next to the shop with free parking after 6pm
- Revival is a tasting room and bottle shop with four stools at their bar. Max volume is 2oz per person. I recommend trying 4 different bourbons with half oz pours each.
- They have a fun selection of old decanters filled with Jim Beam that make for great conversation pieces on any home bar. (Tax strips intact)
- They close at 9pm, start your night here and be sure to give yourself enough time to meander the bottles and decanters while enjoying your vintage pours.

I’ve been to many tours in the area but this by far was the best even though it wasn’t an actual tour. Brad was so full of information and takes so much pride in what he does that it made it the best whiskey lesson and tasting I’d ever had. I was so engrossed in what he had to say that my hour of metered parking went forty minutes past. Happy my car was still there! I showed up shortly after noon last Wednesday and was lucky enough to have Brad one on one. I figured with so much information I’d let him steer on the whiskey selections, he did not disappoint! I only wish I had more time and an Uber to take me back to my hotel. Thank you so much Brad for the VIP treatment, Cheers brother!

This place is fantastic. Excellent whiskey in bottles rescued from the obscurity of estates. The selection and knowledge were fantastic. This was one of the best hours of whiskey tasting I have ever spent. The difference between some of the bourbon I drink today, and what was bottled 70+ years ago was wonderful to experience. If you are a whiskey drinker, especially bourbon, you need to include a stop here on any bourbon trail tour, or visit to the Covington area.

This place is one of a kind. Bottles and bottles of your dad’s, uncle’s, grand dad’s and great grandad’s liquors from yesteryear. And a very passionate and knowledgeable curator to help you on your tasting tour. Tastings for every wallet and taste. But don’t delay, go and see Brad. One of a kind bottles are being consumed this very minute and you may miss your chance to have a taste of a bygone era in bourbon history.

If you enjoy the finer things in life, and want to taste a little piece of bourbon history you need to check this shop out. If your on a budget you can sample history at the tasting bar, and if price is not an obstacle you can take home bucket list bottles for the bourbon connoisseur. Brad and team have done an amazing job!

I will stop here every single time I come through or even close to Covington, KY! It doesn’t matter if you are a bourbon nerd, casual sipper, or if you don’t drink bourbon. You will be hard pressed to find a more amazing collection of “dusties” anywhere. Both my wife and I bought bottles from our birth year that are still sealed. What makes this even better is that you can have a pour of a spirit that may be 80 years old! You can actually taste history! It doesn’t get better than this!

I should not have waited 3 years to visit Revival!

Tasting history, and spirits older than my grandma was wild. I’m not even a bourbon sipper, but old spirits are simply built different!!

Thank you Brad!

Very knowledgeable staff and extremely friendly. Enjoyed hearing the stories of acquiring these rare and vintage bottles. Got to taste a Walker's bourbon from 1980 the day we visited. Will definitely stop in each time we are in town to see what new items they have.

Drove 4 hours from Crown Point, Indiana and it was well worth it. So much to choose from! Anthony was there to listen to what I liked, and offered amazing suggestions. Will definitely be making the trip back often!

I'm pretty sure I'm still in shock with how awesome this place is. I stopped in today because I worked with Brad a few years ago and I'm excited to say he's built something truly incredible! If you like Bourbon you will love this place, and if you love Bourbon you will flip.

The best place to try vintage spirits with an emphasis on bourbon. You can also sell and buy vintage, rare and collectable spirits. Great enthusiastic people with an incredible amount of knowledge and great personality.

Finally made it down to check out Revival. Awesome selection of dusty bottles for purchase. Brad isn’t afraid to open bottles other’s wouldn’t dare open and at a great price per pour. Do not feel intimidated to enter Brad’s shop. Super welcoming and full of knowledge!

Words cannot describe how awesome this little hidden gem in Covington is. Keep an eye out on their Instagram page for the daily special at the tasting bar. The bar is very small and intimate, with just around 6–8 seats, so it's best to go outside of peak hours if you can.

They also do their own barrel picks, most of which you can try for only $5 per 1/2 oz.

The only thing I would change is add a small freezer so they can have ice. I just like my bourbon cold.

Note: For those coming in from out of town, they have a unique liquor license that allows for only 1/2 oz tasting pours and 2 oz max per day. This may change when they move into the new bigger space, but that's still a way's out at this time.

This place is spectacular. My first venture into vintage bourbon, and James was a fantastic tour guide. You can sample up to four half-ounce pours of vintage spirits, ranging from $5 to much more than that. The environment is great. Everyone knows each other, yet it doesn’t feel exclusive. On my first visit, I felt just as welcome as if it were my hundredth visit. One of my favorite places in Covington. Will be back for sure.

I cant say enough about the history in the bottles that are shared here. The willingness to share the bottles and stories here is a must on any bourbon drinkers list. Dont leave empty handed!
