Fantastic Library for kids and the staff here is great. They have a few staff members that will ask people to be quite while in the library and to silence their cell phones. Which is actually really nice to see! The staff are kind and polite also. It is fantastic to come to a place where the notion of being respectful of other people in the library is valued!
If you are being loud, the staff politely asks you to be quite, speak softly, or to silence your cell phone.
I saw that there were some library patrons were annoyed by this but a library is meant to be a quite place for people to read and reflect. Which makes this a great place to come to read and do work.

Always clean, quiet, and pleasant. Not only that, but you can say hi to one of the stray cats outside.

Awesome library although patrons can get very loud, especially in the children's area. The staff does their best to accommodate each patron while adhering to policy. My favorite thing is the weekly meditation program that is held M-F at 11am. All other programs are great as well!

The Miami Lakes Branch Library serves as the place for most residents to vote during elections. During the rest of the year, the library offers excellent services to residents and visitors. We have a library card and we marvel at the ability to request great books, DVDs, games. Now that everything is automated, we make the requests on-line and are notified when the item reaches the library. We pick-up and can renew the items online, making it rather easy, unless the item has been requested by another customer and then we must return. There are many activities held at the library, from book readings for children, to special events such as learning about Taiko Drums, something we attended and made it to the front page of our local newspaper, The Miami Laker. If you do not have a library card yet, get one. If you do, make use of one of the great services available to us. Finally, there are computers at the library for those who are not connected! Highly recommend!

Use to come here back in 2009 for tutoring and also got some Pokémon DVD 📀 they also had black people working here.

Neighborhood Library. Here today for a Japanese Dancer! New Staff! Great experience, MDPL found the books I wanted.

Quite place to study! I love that the kids section and the adults section are well separated. There are tons of tables available

The library is quiet and clean. The staff are very helpful and polite. The city should fix the plugs in the back of the library.

The library staff is helpful, however the library nweds more updated study guides such as the FTCE EXAMS for teachers.

Very nice community library. The librarian was kind enough to give me a computer while I visited from out of town.

I love the books provided and the staff is rude by the lady at the desk helped me fill out papers for my first libray card.
