I have been going here since I was a small child. I have never been a huge fan of getting my teeth worked in but they always make it a good experience. Everyone there is beyond welcoming going out of their way to get to know you. They truly have the nicest staff. It is always a joy to see them even given the circumstances 😂.

Dr Brown and her staff make the visit as “painless” as possible. They are friendly, empathic, effective and I can’t remember the last time I had to wait past my appointment time. The work is top notch as well both for regular cleanings as well as fillings and crowns. And I love doing the paperwork ahead of time.

I had a couple complicated dental procedures & Dr Runyan & her team were excellent in explaining what needed to be done professionally. The surgeries were almost painless & i always felt i was in the hands of expert professionals! So grateful for her practice in Hyde Park!

We are so happy with Dr. Runyan and her staff! Everyone in the office is caring and very attentive to my family's concerns. Although we are mostly familiar with Dr. Elfers (patients 20 years!) I appreciate that Dr. Runyan also takes a conservative approach, suggesting strategies to keep my natural teeth healthy/intact as long as possible. They explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The office is clean and modern, and the equipment is up-to-date. Scheduling is always super easy and convenient. They have flexible hours and make it easy. They also send reminders and confirmations via text and email. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Dr. Runyan is the best dentist I have ever had. I have been with her for at least 5 years. She has my teeth in her best interest and never does unnecessary work. She gives me options on work that does need done and doesn’t push me to get it done. She takes her time and is very gentle/careful, asking me if I’m ‘ok’ as she’s working. For those who hate needles, I didn’t feel a thing and she only had to stick me once. Her staff is fantastic and they all work so well together. I would highly recommend her. Gregg Gielas

I walked out of the dental office with a smile on my face feeling that I had just been through a very pleasant experience. I met a dental hygienist named Holly, who is special. She has a great personality and a wonderful sense of humor. I told her I was worried about a couple of dental concerns and she concentrated on those concerns. She found an major issue with one specific tooth and arranged to have it fixed that day. I am thinking about having my teeth cleaned every week...(just kidding)...3 times per year is enough. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Dr. Runyan.

Hyde Park Dentist is one you’ll actually look forward to visiting! The office is beautiful and beautifully located — with rocking chairs on the front porch and just a block from Hyde Park Square. But what really makes this place is the people. From the moment you walk in, the entire team is warm and inviting, and Dr. Runyan is outstanding!

I started going to this practice almost 33 years ago, in 1985. The beloved Dr. Gardiner was a sole practitioner then, but he eventually brought Dr. Christine Elfers into his practice. Dr. Elfers has run the practice for a long time since Dr. Gardiner retired. Dr. Elfers is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She and her team have taken excellent care of my husband and I for years. I think our teeth are in exceptionally good shape for our age, thanks to the care of this practice. The office staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. Over the years, we've referred so many people to Dr. Elfers and I don't know of anyone who hasn't stayed with them. They are the best!
